  • THE TAMING OF THE SHREW [TWO TOMS NEEDED]

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 360px][justify][size=7pt]basically, i want a mini plot as a triad plot. for whatever reason, petruchio likes to harass and bully/abuse grumio, who instead of sticking up for himself or telling someone turns around and does it to curtis. i want it to end up grumioxcurtis, but with stuff going on beforehand.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 360px][justify][size=7pt]alright. so, i just got braces on thursday, and now i really want a character called either "braceface" or "tinselteeth" but i was wondering if he could have either really crooked wacked teeth or a deformed upper jaw / gums, and then one day as a kit finds a piece of aluminum foil that he puts his his mouth and presses against his teeth to look kind of like braces, though he's just trying to cover it.


    and just saying, i never say hella, but my pain status is hella right about now

    Ariel's pelt is a dappled red tabby color covering a petite and bony structure. This tom's body fits his skittish nature well, seeing as at adult size he would be much smaller than most others matching in age. Due to his right foot being the only part of him "socked" this tom has frosty blue eyes.


    If he were human, Ariel would be 5'4", terribly small for a boy, and his slender body would make him the type that would blow over in the wind. He'd be bony and paleskinned and his face would be covered with freckles, mostly across his cheeks.

    Ariel is not good with words. Anyone who meets him can tell instantly that this stuttering, awkward little bird of a character finds it hard to express how he feels without getting extremely worked up. However, when he needs to get his point across, he can well do it. His mind works in ways some don't understand, or don't want to. He can come up with the best analogy he needs in a situation and uses his thoughts to communicate, and if you take the time to get past the stumbles and uncomfortable behavior he shows, what he has to say will explain a lot. More often than not, one would need to listen to the true meaning of his words, the thoughts behind it, rather than what the words are themselves. "It's dark out today" when the sun is shining. "I'm feeling cold" in the middle of summer. Analogies and deeper meanings are Ariel's way of expressing how he feels.


    "...INFJs are deeply concerned about their relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large..."
    This is true. However, while many INFJ individuals are only concerned of how others see them and the state of the world, Ariel takes this to a new level, creating a cat so shy and filled with anxiety, he can't say a word for fear of embarrassing himself or causing problems. He often feels like a burden to others, and while his inner fire drives him to be there for others and be strong for someone else, Ariel just can't strengthen his own feelings and fight the fear of rejection he harbors. It's humiliating to him, really, feeling that he needs to prove himself to everyone and not being able to do it. It's humiliating that he be related to such high powers and be the nervous, anxiety-ridden thing he is. He cares far too deeply of others to feel this way, and yet he does. His true fear is that all the love he has for others, all the caring, will be thrown back in his face, and that he will be unloved in return. He genuinely wants to help everyone, but his own fears keep him from really doing so, and he kicks himself for that everyday.

    Have you ever met someone who would cry for you or for someone, maybe without even knowing who you were? Ariel's heart beats for others, not a breath of his isn't someone else's, not a thought would turn to selfishness if the choice was between himself or another. Ariel cares about others to the point of a flaw, and he's easily hurt because of it. He wants nothing more than to be the cause of another's happiness, and his cause in life is to help others. His personal feeling is that he was born to be for others, and his thoughts are centered around one thing: "Too often, we forget the ones that hurt."


    "...Acutely suspicious about others' motives, INFJs are not easily led. These are the people that you can rarely fool any of the time..."
    It takes a lot to get this male to trust you, more for him to consider you a friend, and it's damn near impossible to get him to open up. Usually, Ariel would only open up to someone he loves, and you'll only know if he loves you by him saying so, family being the exception. Because he spends so much time quietly observing, not much fools Ariel, and it's difficult to surprise him with something you say, though it's very easy to surprise him by jumping out at him or something. Basically, physical jumping will startle him, but verbal jumping will not often throw him for a loop. He's always curious about what someone is doing and why, but his nerves will not let him inquire often. If he trusts you he will hover nearby, if he considers you a friend he will turn to you for some smallminded gossip, if he loves you he will say so.


    "...The INFJ would not see the need to alter this view and will generally work quietly until a value is transgressed. The problem is that INFJs are so complex, individualistic and un-forthcoming, that the other person may not realise that some value or deeply held belief has been transgressed and be quite surprised how sharply the INFJ can react and how outspoken, assertive and stubborn they can suddenly and uncharacteristically become...."
    Nothing gets the blood pumping in this little boy more than helping. When he can choke down his feelings and really distract himself helping, there's not much Ariel won't due. He absolutely hates unfair acts and will choose mercy over justice wherever possible. He's not quick to forgive if you've hurt or offended him or someone he cares about, and he's more likely to not forgive at all. The only ones he would always forgive would be family. Ariel's main view that will never leave him is that family sticks together. Even though he was not conceived under the best circumstances, Ariel won't let this slightly ignorant thought go. It's a cold world, and he thinks the only ones that will never leave are those that share your blood.

    Ariel is one of the most stubborn cats you'll meet. While he is wellknown for being a bit of a pushover dealing with trivial things, his feelings and "causes" are very important to him, and he can be extremely ignorant, flat-out ignoring others who try to get him to see or think otherwise. He will cut ties with those who try to fight with him about such things, and will not change his views, even if what he feels is right, isn't. If something goes wrong, he'll blame himself and bully himself, causing meltdowns and fullblown fights if someone tries to convince him otherwise, since the idea that the problem was all his fault is a view.
