    [glow=green,2,300]"Name's Spike, by the way,"[/glow] he pointed out as he began to follow. He didn't seem deterred by the forest, but then again, nopony was anymore. Equestria was bad enough nowadays that the Everfree wasn't any more dangerous than absent terrain. [glow=green,2,300]"Yours?"[/glow]

    {Shadowed Night, I know that you specified that Nightmare Moon would be your character, but I was wondering if I could possibly take the role myself, seeing as you intend to play others as well. Nightmare Moon has always been a favorite of mine to play as, after all.}

    {...Sincerely doubting that I'll actually get the part, but there's no harm in asking.}

    {This is still a time period similar to that of the show, in which machines are still 'contraptions' and the most advanced technology is usually related to magic. It's doubtful anypony would know what DNA is, let alone have the means to extract or clone it... That, and Alveare and Chrysalis are two completely separate characters. Just had to say this OOC, due to the nature of the question.}

    Spike was silent during the discussion of Rarity, for the most part. He looked as if the subject had saddened him moreso than his dire situation, but he quickly pushed it aside if it was ever there. [glow=green,2,300]"I think you're talking about Twilight,"[/glow] he commented, changing back to the original topic. [glow=green,2,300]"And I doubt she's in much better shape to help, if you're planning on recruiting her."[/glow]

    {Also, how would he have known any of this, exactly? Just curious.}

    {Wait... Who's controlling Celestia?}

    Princess Luna Nightmare Moon stepped out into the courtyard, her pitch-black coat gaining a slight sheen in the faint moonlight. In the grasp of a levitation spell was the end of a leash which happened to be tied to the collar on Princess Poor Celestia's neck. [glow=black,2,300]"Indeed it is,"[/glow] she commented, her accent still thick as ever. [glow=black,2,300]"We are glad thou hast joined our cause so quickly, Captain. Without thy help, the Guard would surely turn their backs on us, though not before their spears."[/glow]

    She gave a tug on the leash, pulling the former ruler along with her. [glow=black,2,300]"Come along, Tia... 'Tis moving day!"[/glow] She stopped, putting a plated hoof to her chin. [glow=black,2,300]"Wouldst 'Moving night' be more appropriate, or is that overdoing our victory? We apologize- We are not used to this 'winning' thing. Regardless, we carry on!"[/glow] Another tug of the leash and she moved forward again.

    [glow=black,2,300]"Words of truth,"[/glow] Nightmare Moon agreed, leading her elder sister through the gates. [glow=black,2,300]"So where dost thou say we take her? We hear the tribes of Gryphonia are having an exquisite hunting season. A few merchants were banned from the market for selling pony furs, if we remember true..."[/glow]

    [glow=black,2,300]"Oh, save the speech of loyalties, Tia,"[/glow] the Nightmare commented, rolling her eyes. [glow=black,2,300]"Even our power is lesser than thy own, and still we had victory. Dost thou think thy petty armored bodyguards could do better?"[/glow] She stuck her nose into the air, giving a huff. [glow=black,2,300]"'Tis a fallacy."[/glow]

    {It's your turn, so...}

    [glow=green,2,300]"She's not broken!"[/glow] Spike corrected her, apparently taking offense to the terminology. A moment later and he calmed down, able to speak without shouting. [glow=green,2,300]"She's just... In pain. Unstable, emotionally. Even if I tried to bring any ponies to her, she'd be too afraid of herself to consider helping an option."[/glow]

    [glow=black,2,300]"Thy dare speakest to us in such a tone!?"[/glow] Nightmare Moon glared down at the pony who was stupid enough to challenge her, ready and willing to test her new powers on this subject who'd so gladly appeared on her doorstep. [glow=black,2,300]"Do not make us punish thee..."[/glow]

    [glow=green,2,300]"You don't get it, do you? Everypony goes insane in their own special way. Some resort to violence, others to comfort from friends. Twilight isn't a fighter and didn't have her friends to help her this time. She tried to fix things on her own, but only ended up hurting ponies in her frustrations. When she realized this, she ran. She'd afraid, not of any of us, not of the other Five, but of herself. Now for the love of all that's good and holy, let's get this food so I can leave."[/glow]

    Nightmare Moon ignored her sister's arguments, turning to her deputy. [glow=black,2,300]"She is yours,"[/glow] she granted, slipping a glare at the pony who had dared to go against her. [glow=black,2,300]"Make it sure she feels pain, as well..."[/glow]

    Nightmare Moon's face visibly softened as she spoke. [glow=black,2,300]"Thy cares so much that the sacrifice of a kingdom is suffice to save us..?"[/glow]

    [glow=black,2,300]"Another fallacy."[/glow] She shook her head, returning to her cold self. [glow=black,2,300]"Take her to the forest thyself,"[/glow] she commanded her deputy. [glow=black,2,300]"We do not wish to see her face from this point forward."[/glow] With that, she turned her back on her sister and walked away, heading back toward the palace.

    Even with the exile of her sister over her head, Luna felt a smile creep onto her face as she wandered the palace. She had beaten the great Alicorn of the Sun and taken a kingdom of her own! If ponies would not appreciate her night, they would at least appreciate her own violent prowess... That, she would make sure of.

    {PLOT TWIST! I'm going to try a sort of double narrative, wherein she is Luna while she's alone and Nightmare Moon when perceived by others. Yay, extra perspectives and angles!}
