"Prey is running low, and I'm wondering if you're willing to hunt for the clan. Lightningstrike and Feather heart are joining the payroll with me. Tell me if you want to go." Then he padded over to the fresh kill pile.

They pelted through the mountain trees towards where they hunt the most prey. They both had several kills by sunrise. They brought back their kill, and the clan was full feed for the first time in leaf bare.
