Thrushfern laughed quietly as she watched the two. It seemed to be more difficult to even try to go to sleep now when she was still so concerned about them. Smokekit, even though he seemed fine, still worried her and Duskkit was as quiet as he could be. Weren't kits supposed to be louder? Thrushfern could only guess she was wrong that time. When she saw Smoekit's eyes htough, everything seemed to come to her. Maybe they were just fine and she was worrying too much.

Duskkit tried to make sure his mom knew he was there. He let out a small squek and nudged himself closer to her. Jeoulosy rolled off his eyes as he frowned though.

Duskkit let out a squel as he fell on his side. He gave his brother an angry look as he got up. His legs seemed to weaken and he fell again. There seemed to be a certain amount of fustration in his eyes as he tried to pull himself up.

Thrushfern looked up to see Foxstar and smiled lightly. "They are a lively bunch. I think I'm going to have my paws full for awhile." It was all she could speak as gazed back at her kits with admiration.

Thrushfern's eyes filled with a certain degree of happiness. "Thank-you Foxstar." After looking at the ground briefly she decided she shoudl just soeak more since she had many thoughts flying through her mind. "I've...never had someone care enough to do such a thing...and mean what they do. It's nice to know you do though."

Seedpaw looked up,watching Gingerpaw walk back into camp but not getting up. "I'll just mess something up again," he muttered as he placed his tail in a way so that it was covering his mouth.

Thrushfern purred quietly, trying to regroup the young kits. "And I'm sure they will think of you as the best father to ever live." She kept her nervous-like look hidden deep within her thoughts as she spoke.

(OOC: I gotta go for an hour and a half. I'll be back later. :()

Thrushfern felt herself freeze. Could she really trust again? After what had happened in her earlier moons she wasn't sure. But by the way he seemed to care she felt like she should say yes. Foxstar had to be differant. "Yes Foxstar...I will."

Seedpaw jumped up to all four paws and almost raced into the forest yet tried to keep himself clam as he waited for the others. With a small leap he dashed after the noise coming from ahead and found Smokefang fighting with a small badger. Seedpaw toke no time in waiting and jumped onto it's back. Only moments later he was thrown off again in a failed attempt to scratch it's ears.

Thrushfern's pelt seemed to be standing on edge. "I shouldn't be keeping you from helping the clan then." She kept her kits close as she glanced back at him. "How many do you think there are anyways?" It was like she was ignoring her own rule yet she didn't see to care.

"Be safe Foxstar." She could feel her heart lurch as she hid her kits from view. There was only so much she could do now. What would happen if her clan was decimated? Thrushfern tried to not let it get to her yet it was staying there. She couldn't bare to think about losing her new family.

Seedpaw's terrified face never fanished as he jumped onto the same badger she was fighting and started to randomly claw it's skin. "I really hope we don't die today," he admitted as he stopped.

Duskkit started to struggle to get free of his mother's protective hold. He wanted to know what was going on outside. Was it that much to ask?

Thrushfern frowned as she held her kit down by the scruff of his neck. Her eyes were glinted with a look of horror.

Seedpaw let out a yowl of anguish as he dug his claws into the badgers neck. He knew there was little chance of him winning alone. "Help!" He began to repeat it as he tried to stay on the angry badger.
