Aerulius wearily walked on, through the long grass, past the smiling flowers, each pawstep an effort. His stomach growled angrily at him, and the sun seemed to glare into his icy blue eyes. Where had she said to go? He'd lost track quite quickly, and before he knew it, he was wandering across the land in a state of confusion. This wasn't the snowy mountains or the wintery fields of his former home, and as a result, his thick fur was much more a burden than any help. "Hello?" he called out to the wide plains before him. His head spun sickeningly, and he sat down, allowing the dizziness to slowly recede.

Aerulius, upon hearing a voice, tried to shake off his fatigue and put up a presentable front (It wasn't working). "My name is Aerulius, or Aero, if you'd prefer. I'm here to, um,... I'm not sure, exactly. I've been traveling for a while, and I kind of got lost. I need a place to stay. I have no idea where I am, so I apologize for... for intruding, or anything of the sort." His voice seemed slow and thick, and his thoughts kept clouding together. His stomach growled at him again, and he looked at paws, trying to concentrate on what to do if this was the home of an aggressive clan. Aerulius doubted he could run away, or fight, if so.

"Thank you," Aerulius said, relieved. All the faces so far seemed friendly; he wasn't sure if it was just for show or genuine, but no one had attacked him so far. "Where... where is the best place to hunt? I just need some food and rest, and I should be back to normal... I apologize that this is my introduction to Windclan." Aerulius mustered a slight smile, trying to ignore the black dots floating in his vision. It was taking all of his strength to not just collapse right then and there; he tried not to think about how weak he must look.

Unsure of where and how exactly the food and water had came from, but at the same time in no position to question it, Aerulius thankfully ate and drank. "Thank you, Blue," he rumbled, already beginning to feel better now that his stomach wasn't twisting in on itself. "I come from a land far away, at least I think it's far away," he said, the last part muttered under his breath. "A mountainous, snowy place... I still have family there, but they, to be frank, were not fond of me... that's a topic for another time, though. Your camp, where is it? Would it maybe give some shelter from this glaring sun?" He gave a small smile; perhaps he had made a friend, for he certainly needed one in this unfamiliar land.

Aerulius would be interested in a training buddy. He's also used to a pretty active training schedule, although he's a bit out of practice rn so it'll do him some good to work. Aerulius vaguely heard the commotion from where he had settled down to sleep. He woke up with a low yawn and slunk out of the abandoned twoleg home to see an odd variety of creatures. The central character seemed to be a cocky-looking tomcat carrying a satchel. "Drifters, out to sight see, eh? You've got enough weapons for a small army... Why exactly did you stop by here?" He didn't trust that explanation; it was too simple, too similar to lies he told. He cocked an eyebrow suspiciously, settling down with his tail over his paws. He wasn't looking for a fight, but he was simply too curious for his own good.

He stood up, padding a couple strides behind. Pick your own house? A twoleg house? He'd heard of them, seen the worn husks of them in the mountains before, but he'd never personally lived in one. Aerulius turned from his path when he heard a voice off to his side. "I don't have any physical injuries, as of now. Nothing a little rest, food, and drink can't fix. Thanks for the offer though, Drippingpaw," the snow leopard responded, nodding his head in acknowledgement. All these friendly people so far... It was a little bit surprising, to say the least. He still wouldn't let his guard down, regardless.
