Silverdew looked below and saw the cat. "Hi!" She meowed and ran down the tree. Once she was at the bottom, she padded over to him. "What's your name?"

Nightpool stared at them, eyes as big as moons.

Stormwhisker saw his sister, Nightflame, climbing up the tree, to sit with him. Great, he thought. She's going to sit by me. Nightflame sat down next to Stormwhisker. "I know what you're thinking," she said. "You don't want me here. But you can't make me stay in the clan forever, just because you're older." Stormwhisker glanced at her. Then he turned away.

Silverdew eyed his up and down once. She smiled. "Mine's Silverdew."

Silverdew's eyes brightened. "You're kinda handsome" she said, with a warm smile.

"I would love to" she replied.

"Of course it is" her blue gaze fixed on the tom. She got closer to him.

Silverdew licked his cheek. "I..." she began nervously.

"I l-love you, dingofang..." she said, the moon shining on her silver fur.

A shadow moved through the bushes.. "Somebody's watching us!" Silverdew meowed in shock.

The shadow was actually Silverdew's brother, Stormwhisker. He went to Silverdew's side. "What are you doing here with her?" He growled, his eyes narrowed.

Silverdew left her brother's side, and padded to Dingofang's side.

"You're from a different clan" he growled. "Leave her alone."
Then he turned his gaze to Silverdew. "You're not going to see him again."
"What?! Just because you are older doesn't mean you're in charge of me!"

Stormwhisker unsheathed his claws. "I'm doing what's best for you, Silverdew. I'll make sure you never see this mangy piece of crow-food ever again."

Silverdew stared in horror. "No you can't do this, Stormwhisker!"
But Stormwhisker ignored the silver tabby and pushed her aside with his tail. "Stay out of this" he growled.

Stormwhisker leaped onto Dingofang, pinning him to the ground. He sank his claws into Dingofang's flesh.

"NO!!" Silverdew cried, yanking Stormwhisker's tail, making him fall down. Stormwhisker got up, ears flattened. "I said stay out of it!"
"Never!"

Stormwhisker got up. He was close enough, so he brung his front paw hard on dingofang's head, claws unsheathed.

"You don't think I would give up that easily, would you?"
