Rhymekit blinked her mismatched eyes, tilting her head slightly as he spoke. Two specks. "I think that might be worse. Two specks could get separated, never find each other again." Was she missing half of herself? Was it off somewhere else, making someone else happy? Or had she just smushed her own half so that . . . so that why? Or had he stolen off with it in the night? It was getting a little chilly, and she wished she had her handy brown beret, but she didn't. It was in the nursery where she'd left it over a week ago. She hadn't been back to that spot since. It had a kind of mumbo jumbo voodoo like state to her, like it gave off bad energy.

"And if I'm two, you're at least six." She said, sizing him up, trying to change the conversation. She didn't want it being let on that she was well . . . the way she was.

Rhymekit swallowed. "Sorry, sir." She mewed quickly, her ears twitching anxiously. She hadn't mean to offend him or anything, she was just basing it on the general size they both possessed. Oh, he might be more than six, but was he really so many more times larger than her? Was she that small? She was small for her age, and of course her age was small all by itself.

She dropped her gaze from the sky to her petite white paws. "A little." She admitted self consciously. He probably wasn't cold, he was a warrior and considerably more impressive than she. She wanted her hat back. But she couldn't go back there. It was a problem she was solving by not facing it, which she realized wasn't the best way to do things. But part of her didn't care.

She sighed, bowing ever so slightly. The calico kitten hesitated for a long second after his offer, trying to decide whether she could manage it all or not -- although what there was to manage was somewhat unclear to her. She took a deep breath and relaxed ever so slightly. Just kidding, of course. She wasn't sure why she couldn't seem to be more impressive like Lee. It was probably partially because she was so small, and also because she was a bastard child. Unwanted. "Thank you." She mewed politely, although she felt a little bad about it. But she was doing something too, right? She was keeping him just a little warmer too? She wasn't used to close contact. She swallowed. It was mildly uncomfortably, but also somewhat cozy.

"He could get captured." Or maybe someone like Glasspaw would come along and simply over power him, kill him as many times as it took in order to accomplish his final destruction. Rhymekit giggled again, looking on carefully. She was quite interested in the kiss, and she thought they both seemed to enjoy it, even with everyone happily watching them quite closely. It was interesting for sure. The calico kitten looked at the bottle, and, impulsively, reached her paw out toward it. "Me." She mewed, taking authority for once in her life. She flicked the bottle as hard as she could with her dainty white ligament, and she didn't force the bottle in a full circle. She looked up to see who it landed on, heart beating a little quick.

She raised her head slightly. She'd been about to say it was nothing. It was as if he'd read her mind or something. It was strange and intruiging. The she-kit swallowed. "I shouldn't have been born." She admitted quietly, although the weight of the words wouldn't be understood by him. He didn't know her, he didn't know all about what she felt, or about her past -- what short past she had. Then she thought better of it and closed her maw, snapping it shut as if it was a sort of trap for flies or anything else that might have fallen in through it. Rhymekit's tail twitched softly and she shook her head slightly. "No. It's fine." She lied, the way she usually lied when the older cats asked her questions, invading her life without too much invasion.

Rhymekit took a closer look at the collar, curious as to its origins as well as Morgan's own past, which she was no doubt even more curious about. Morgan could be like her, she realized with a start. Maybe she was a bastard too. Maybe she just didn't remember it. But Rhymekit couldn't ever imagine not remembering that she was worthless, that she was a mistake. It was so deeply ingrained she didn't think one could ever forget that kind of thing, or at least the feeling of it. "Oh. Well, I'm glad you're here now." The calico kitten mewed after a pause.
