Spirit remained at rest, suprised at how comfortable she was.. how protected she felt. It was an odd feeling. But.. nice.

Rick grunted and slowly got up. "Carl.." he rasped, trying to get up but nearly collapsed.

Favvie took a look around the place. This was where they met, she recognized.

Spirit heard every word he had said, and slowly a smile formed on her muzzle. Though she was hurt, she could still find the strength in her to grin. After a moment, she could feel the gleam of the master emerald on her eyelids, and opened her eyes to notice that the emerald was.. healing her. She couldn't believe it.

"You can't go out there by yourself.." he softly protests.

"My group.. Maya, Luke, Ben and.. Kyle." Favvie answered.

Spirit slowly nodded, her smile widening. "Yeah.. I am.." she softly whispered, her eyes looking up at his with hopefulness.

"I feel.. a lot better." Spirit told him gently, looking around. She felt like a new person.

Favvie blushed at the smile and rubbed the back of her head nervously. "I should, uh.. get going.."

Rick sighed and nodded, laying back down. He had confidence in her that she would bring him back.

Favvie thought. "Around my age, I believe. Kyle and Luke were both a bit older, but me, Maya and Ben were all fifteen. Kyle and Luke were around seventeen."

Spirit stood back onto her feet, and then gave Rock a curious look. "..Is something wrong?"

Favvie looked at the town, tilting her head. "Yeah, we'll be back. We can protect ourselves."

"Carl!.." Favvie softly protested.

Spirit tilted her head. "Right." she started to giggle a bit.
