Void wasn't sure whether Gentlesky was just trying to be nice, or whether she genuinely didn't mind the song - reading others wasn't exactly one of his strong points, to put it lightly. Thus, he offered no more reply than a shallow nod of acknowledgement. Then, turning to Wiccanpaw as she approached, he replied, "I'm not sure, exactly. Some kind of twoleg music." The fox couldn't imagine what might have made the other sounds, but the vocals were clearly twoleg voices. They were a tad 'shouty' (for lack of a better term), so it was understandable if his Clanmates didn't like it.

The tod nodded in understanding to Hya's words. He'd never been pushed to feel paranoid by anything himself, but Voidstep could be quite an empathetic guy, which some might find surprising, given his... iffy history.
Abruptly, the music cut off, and the phone's screen blackened. Confused, Void turned back to the device, attempting to light it back up by poking the indentation near the bottom as he had before. It didn't respond, for the battery had died. With a small frown, he tried twice more, but the result didn't change. He'd been curious as to what other music the phone might play, but as far as he could tell, it was broken. Perhaps mud is clogging up the system. he thought idly, noting that the dirt beneath their paws was gradually being soaked through by the rain. It didn't really matter. He would have had to find a way to turn it off at some point anyhow. This was just making his job easier.
"I supposed it's stopped working." he stated (even though it was pretty obvious and didn't need to be pointed out) as he swatted it back under the ferns where he'd found it.

Science homework went overkill on my brain, so sorry if I'm not understanding you properly or if I'm not making much sense. XP
