COLUMBIANA ✖ THE FIREFLIES
[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; width: 470px; height: 300px; overflow: auto; text-shadow: 0px 0px 5px black;]columbiana was up and early, yet she chose to keep her distance from anyone. she heard chess whining to the leader, she heard the white furred female annoying atticus, and quite frankly, her voice only seemed to make the omega mumble under her breath. shaking out her pelt, columbiana grumbled irritably. there was no use in going to her den; there was a hole in her's and she merely too lazy to do something about it.

she slid back down, her head rested on her paws. bia would stare hazily at the visible members of the pack, her piercing blue gaze holding a hint of.. boredom. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; width: 470px; height: 300px; overflow: auto; text-shadow: 0px 0px 5px black;]a cold, hazel gaze could be clearly visible to any bystander as a golden hued figure padded through the rain. her ears were pinned to her head, her tail drooping behind her. with every step she took came a mumble, a grumble, a roll of her eyes, and much more. she hated the rain; made everything seem even more terrible then it already was. the saarloos wolfdog continued through the seemingly isolated city, ignoring the scents of few others. she wasn't in the mood to be interrogated by someone who wasn't any more important as she was. in her eyes, nobody was special; not even herself, so for someone to come up to her, act all high and mighty in their stupid glory would only be a waste of not only her time, but their own time as well. it happened to her before, and it wasn't happening again.

nymeria's attention remained on the pavement in front of her, not pulling her gaze away from the ground. her ears raised faintly, and carefully she glanced around before looking back to the hopeless path ahead, aware that she was only going in circles.

this was only because surprisingly, she hadn't exactly acknowledge the dreaded thing chasing another dog until kaiser had taken action. she was simply tempted to go and help, but she didn't move towards them. she moved the opposite direction. the female settled down in front of an abandoned alley-way, laying down on the pavement. she kept her attention on the three figures; the infected 'human', the ebony and ivory touched male, and the running dog heading towards the other. it may seem rude, but nymeria didn't help anyone or take action unless she too was in danger. so, she'd simply watch. this was all part of that cryptic trait she carried.

"eh.. sorry 'bout that." she mumbled. nymeria wasn't used to the company of others and she hadn't been expecting someone to come up to her. she was just.. surprised.

"you talkin' to me?" she asked, then felt a bit stupid; she was the only one around, right? blinking again, that emotionless look crossed over nymeria's face. don't let them know you actually care about things.. not until you can trust them.. the thought came back to nymeria. she was tired of being betrayed; she showed the faintest hint of her actually caring, then it blew up in her face. flicking her ear faintly, it took a moment for nymeria to realize what noise she meant. "oh! that... nothing too big; just some dogs attacking an unfortunate, idiotic infected. it's dead, though." she kept her voice calm, flat, and.. blank.

nymeria hadn't noticed it, but the whole time she'd been with this new stranger, she had stopped walking. she had actually... stopped to talk to someone. it was the nice thing to do though, no matter how much she didn't want to be bothered. in fact, she was a bit glad.. it was boring talking to nobody. it was nice, but nym didn't expect this company to last long; everyone comes and goes.

    (recap? i suck at these..
nothing much happened; chess, atticus, columbiana, ellie, and russo are up.. russo and chess went on a hunt. koro got chased by one of the infected, but kasier and archer helped kill it.. archer left and went into the forest..)

"you be careful, too..
" she mumbled, turning and heading the other direction. nymeria finally headed to her desired destination; her old home. sure, make fun of her, but it's the only place she could find that actually wasn't crawling with anything infected. the wolfdog padded towards the backyard, slipping through the hole she had dug out under the house. this lead to the basement, where she entered quietly.

she would stay here for a little bit, just until she decided to relocate. that, and if anything or anyone found her, she'd most likely up and move once again.

the small figure named bambi would have pushed past her siblings to feed, but instead, she remained in one place, refusing. bambi would nuzzle up to the nearest body, her small cries silencing into faint wheezes as she slept, her small little body moving faintly to signal she was still breathing, just sleeping.

i shifted my weight, heaving a sigh as i hauled my large bag, which contained everything i needed; a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, clothes.. all that good stuff. i ran away for one reason; too much drama. too many sl*ts in the pack. the alpha was a damn.. stalker, for christ's sake. always looking for some seventeen year old to be his fourty-seven year old self's mate. he didn't care if she wanted to find her true mate, he wanted a mate because he never found his. i was his next target, and i wasn't planning on going anywhere near that pedophile. my mom didn't care; she wanted was she thought was right for her. like the alpha so bad? marry him yourself. i blinked, my blue eyes scanning the forest cautiously. i didn't know where i was. i really didn't. i planned on going to find the city, somewhere where a lot of rogues went. not many packs claimed the city as their territory, so it was basically a safe-haven for rogues.

a new scent caught my attention. i was on a pack territory, a territory i had no desire on being in. i was just about to turn around and run off out of the territory before i found myself hitting a wall. the thing was, this wall wasn't just a wall. it was a tall guy, who i was going to assume to be the beta. i heard the alpha was scarier, even if he was supposedly two years older then me. i stared at this man, ready to run.
