Purity saw a vole. She wasn't hungry but she ripped it apart anyway. Shadewing was horrified. "Don't waste prey-" he began.

Purity and Shadewing reached their next camp destination, with the kit in a sour mood all day and Shadewing feeling too cowardly to stand up for himself.

That night Purity snuck out again, but this time Shadewing was there and ready to follow her. She walked confidently through the forest and crouched by a tree. Something told Shadewing she wouldn't be happy to be disturbed.

Eclipse was happy for the kit. Finally she had regained the ability to speak. Fresh air probably helped. She gave her a mouse to eat so she wouldn't be to hungry when she met the other kits.

The kit squealed. She bit the cats paw and threw her off. She was incredibly strong for a kit. Purity ran after Aria and jumped her again, scratching her sides. She lashed out at the cat behind her as well. She seemed crazy. Her wounds streamed as she attacked again and again.
"Stop!" cried Shadewing dragging her off.

"I always knew you were weak. Weak cats don't deserve to live!" with that she sprang at the warrior and slashed his throat wide open. "I have always loved you. I-I'm your father."
"Impossible. My father is dead."
"Its true."
"No!"
"Goodbye..." he said with his last words.
