I'm floating above the room, and I can see my broken body being covered by a curtain.That's strange... I think, floating higher. My head brushes the ceiling and I frown, glaring at the white paint. A few minutes later, we pull into the parking lot of Ed's main base. Climbing back out of the car, I drag Hunter out of the backseat and Connor helps support his other side. We shamble inside, through the security gates and whatnot, and finally get to Ed's office. "Mission report; three down at the shoe store, both the orphanage and the day care are secure. One innocent left on the scene at the shoe store. He both has information and saw everything. Status: unconscious as f know, due to blow on the head." I say when I enter Ed's room, my entire body going ridged and emotionless in the man's presence. "Oh, re-lax, Agent. You know how I hate how you are like that." he says, acting offended. "I'm not the type of person to forget the guy who stripped me of everything I had, ruined my life and trained me to be a killer- sir." I reply back, sarcasm dripping off of my words. "What do you want us to do with him?" Connor butts in, trying to ease the tension. "It seems as if you know this boy, Faith? Perchance someone from before? Hmm... Why what else would I have you do but to baby sit him? I know you won't kill him, you're not that corrupted....yet." Anger flares in me and I want to throttle him, or something worse and terribly graphic, which wouldn't be the first time I've wished such a thing. Connor puts a hand on my arm and I force myself to stand down, and Ed smiles smugly before saying "I'm sure that we can find something to do with him after you're done in that smelly little town of yours, but until then, you get to deal with him as you wish.
