Yeah, pretty busy Diane thought to herself as he spoke the statement. She couldn't tell why she had been acting slightly harsh to the male. Her only assumption had led to the drink in her hand and yet she didn't deny the feeling at all. There was nothing much to what she had said, even if to herself. She only thought on what he had portrayed in his words. She peaked from the corner of her eye as she watched him take another drink of the soda. The thought of it still befuddled her as to why he had even stayed here in the first place to simply drink soda and talk to her. She didn't see herself as someone to approach and yet here he was, proving her wrong in some way or another.
"Diane" she spoke simply. Only saying her name being that it was the polite thing to do. She knew she wouldn't have said it otherwise because of how little she knew of this "Miles" character. For all she knew, he could've been some lonely male who lived a sad life. Not that her life was any better. She watched the ice slowly melt in her small glass, the liquid still floating around in the cup waiting for her to drink it and yet she felt as if she never would. Simply because of how long he was talking to her and how late it would have gotten. She was always used to drinking alone. Not with company. And she wasn't ready to try with someone she didn't know. -

That was mainly her big question as she had stood outside of the overwhelming gates. She was in an unfamiliar enviornment, an area she never thought she would be in again. A school. She couldn't say her life had been the best and yet she couldn't say it had been the worst after a while. And yet it was about to take a big turn for either the better or the worst, however it went depended on the one that were there with her.
Shera wasn't used to this kind of area. A clean building, grassy area, and just an atmosphere of cleanliness that wasn't nearly the past she had lived for a long time. She was the learning type. Always had been. Even when the ones around her cared very little for any type of education, the same couldn't be said for this girl. That was her motivation. Her reason for leaving a place she called home in hopes of bettering herself here. Finally getting away from her old life to start a new one and to make a name for herself. Or at least, that was what she wanted. However, she knew it wasn't going to happen. She was too self-centered to have cared about others and what they thought about her.
Knowing this, she let out a sigh, stuffing her hands into her jeans' pockets and heading through the gates without a word. There were seats lined up in the front of the school, visible from beyond the front entrance but unnoticed until now by Shera. She could only guess there would be a lecture to go on at this time by the strange male that had been standing in front of them all, lost in his own mind while he looked into the distance. But it was none of her business to ask about what he had been doing. Instead, she made her way towards one of the seats, heading to the left side as she sat closer to the edge, where she would be away from the middle and away from view. The last thing she wanted was to be seen.
Slouching slightly in her seat, she kept her headphones on, no music playing though being there for show whenever she needed them. It was easy to block out others when she was wearing it and if she wanted to hear then she would with the same ease. For now she blocked out the others, watching the male in the middle from the corner of her eye to await the beginning. She had only hoped that when he started, there wouldn't be an obscure amount of talking to hurt or annoy the girl when she tuned them all back in again.
He had finally started. Talking like there was no tomorrow and as if they had all listened to him anyways. She simply stayed in the same state as he did so, hands resting in her pockets as she continued to be leaned back in her seat. Throughout the course of the lecture, she could see some others walk in halfway through and she knew that he could see them as well, however he didn't say a word about it. She couldn't tell how long this was going to be or even why he thought he needed to say all of this. If he had been a previous student as he said he was, why did he believe they wanted to hear him talk as much as he did. There wasn't that much to be said and the rules surely weren't going to be followed. It only made her think what he would do when enough of them were broken.
It had only taken a short bit of eternity for him to have finally shut his mouth and on that cue, she stood herself up, blocking out the sounds once more while she went to the steps that had finally been accessible to the students. She had no idea what the dorms may have looked like. All she had known was that she hadn't slept in a proper bed in more years than she could have remembered. Another new thing to have gone through. And of course they had been on the fourth floor, a stairway and a half to get to and from every day for however long they decided to stay in the academy for. Day one she could surely tell it would've been hell.[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor= translarent; bordercolor= transparent; borderwidth= 0px; font-family: georgia; font-style: bold; font-size: 10pt; margin-bottom: -13px; letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: center; color: white; text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #ff345b; margin-left: -40px;]Sound is but a tool I use at my disposal[/fancypost]

For Malice I just want you to make sure that healing factor isnt too powerful and neither is that reality warping on Nyx. The wishes shouldn't be anything. Just to a certain extent. I'm sorry if I seem like a stickler for this but I just want to make sure it's balanced. And well...shes a genie, not really a shapeshifter
-
Right now they're heading to their dorms. So you can have them be outside of them if you'd like. Dorm descriptions will be in the first post very shortly
-
-
-
Alright. And I get what you mean. For me, Aladdin completely disappeared from my memory so I forget what the genie even does. Thanks, though. That should be just about everything. You would be accepted then and you can go right ahead into the thread then
-
I don't think there needs to be anything changed in that form.
you forgot the weightIt all looks good ^^. I can actually see Fern and Shera being friends if you'd like. You are gladly accepted! -
>3>
Okay okay. Maybe she magically got her weight poofed onto her form. And thats good! Ill have to find a way for her them to meet up. And also figure out whose dorm to put her inAnd norn, thats perfect ^^

Im just thinking as i put the dorms together and i think "sure, lets put the pervert in with the succubus. Seems like a good idea" and i do think it may be a good idea for him to hold onto the lamp. We can have it as if they talked about it before so when she comes up she can hand over the lamp to him maybe
-
Same. But someone had to be there.

sorry i havent posted. Ive had no access to my computer guys.

Diane surely wanted nothing to do with him but she couldn't say he wanted the same. She could tell he was attempting to get himself to be liked by her in which he had only been showing anything through his expressions. Outside of that, she had seen no interest in the male or even what he had wanted to talk about but she knew it was only for one night and after then, she wouldn't see him again. Or at least she hoped she wouldn't. He didn't have very many friends for a reason and she didn't want to be one to have found out why that was. She was sure she definitely wouldn't have liked it either but she couldn't seem to get rid of him in any way.
There was only one thing she could've thought of at that point which had been to signal him to go though she didn't know exactly how to do that without being completely blunt and telling him to leave at that point. "So how long are you going to be staying here?" she asked, hoping to tell him that he shouldn't have been there for long, mostly because she didn't want him there and wanted him to be someone else's problem. She didn't expect him to have gotten it right away and thought he may have needed more convincing but that was up to what response he gave to what she said or even if he had decided to leave soon. Without her. -

Though finding the directions there had been a completely different story. They were shown a map of the school when they had first looked into it, however there were so many floors and so much inside it had been almost confusing to try and figure out what was where. Instead, she simply trashed the map the day she got it and decided to find her own way to the dorm instead, following others right behind them without their notice and continuing forth to wherever her room had been.
The school had been like nothing she had ever seen before. Everything had to look as though it had been paid a lot of money for. Something to keep the students fascinated and busy while they stayed at this school for so many years. She could only wonder how long it took to make this or even how long it had been standing though that didn't stop her from moving. Shera wasn't the type of girl to stop in awe of something she found to be different but instead, keep a steady face and keep moving towards her destination as if she had seen it all before. There was nothing more she disliked about herself than to show any emotion in herself. It had only made her seem weak to others.
It hadn't taken her long, in fact, to reach the stairwell, heading up the long flight of stairs in avoidance of riding a crowded elevator. Though the trip was a lot shorter than she would have guessed, it certainly gave her a good look at all the other floors as she passed by them. Upon making it to her desired, area, she stepped off of the spiral staircase with ease and headed down the line of dorms. The number "111" is what she had searched for, door after door as the number went down the closer she went towards the middle of the floor itself. It was better for them to have had two separate staircases on each side of the floor for when you wanted to start on either the male or the female side of the dorms.
It hadn't taken more than a minute or two to take her slow, drawn out pace to the door she was told to go to. She paced up to the front, staring at the door as she paused herself. She listened from within, hearing footsteps from beyond the door on what seemed like carpeted flooring. There had been only one other person inside. Not that she had wanted to meet them. She had simply wanted to get through school on her own and leave as fast as possible though dodging people the entire time would prove to be difficult. She let out a sigh, grabbing ahold of the doorknob while she began to tune out her noise. Upon heading inside, there was a rush of fragranced, chilled air with the same fancified aspect as the rest of the building only making it seem more like home. There wasn't much inside to see, only a carving on the wall that had stood out though she decided not to question it, for it would spark unwanted conversation.
Instead, she turned her head in another direction away from the girl, heading over towards a nearby bed to claim it as her own. She set her small bag down that she carried with her. It was the things she brought which had been little to none considering her previous living style. She sat on the mattress, facing her nightstand as she opened both drawers, seeing what had been inside before putting her own things in it. She knew soon, she would have needed to take a shower, a rare occurrence for her to have felt fresh for once after living on the streets. And she tried her best not to look like it though it hadn't been working for the most part. She could tell her life was about to change but she couldn't tell for the better or worse.[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor= translarent; bordercolor= transparent; borderwidth= 0px; font-family: georgia; font-style: bold; font-size: 10pt; margin-bottom: -13px; letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: center; color: white; text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #ff345b; margin-left: -40px;]Sound is but a tool I use at my disposal[/fancypost]

It had only been a year since he had been in charge of the school and still he made little changes to the building he knew so well over the years. There were no renovations, no rule changes, and it was just the way he had liked it. He had already known from previous experiences that these students weren't ones to have enjoyed everything but he was the kind of person to have looked around those students and tried to help for the better of everyone if he was able to. This was what had made him a good leader.
His own thoughts had been interrupted by a smaller girl, one he knew he had heard from before and so he looked at her with a smile. A small girl in black who held out an item he was expecting on receiving. A lamp. He was never one to judge someone on their features, looking past all of her chains and other distinct aspects to treat like he would anyone else. He reached forward, carefully grasping the lamp only to feel her shaky hands as he did so. He brought it close to him, holding it with both hands as he gave her another smile in return. "Thank you very much, Ms. Xio." he told her formally, only in attempts to make her feel more important. "Now, you can head inside and go find your dorm. They're on the fourth floor. You should have been given your room number on the paper I sent but if you need another, I'll be happy to go print another one out." he offered, not wanting anyone to be troubled with finding their room being that it had been their first day there. Whatever it had been, Shera wasn't interested. This school hadn't been a place in which she wanted to make friends but rather get her desired education and leave in one piece. She may have been able to do something with her life when she had departed from the academy but that wasn't important then. What had been was unpacking on the first day. To survive in the school she had to take things one step at a time and after doing that she planned to freshen herself up.
The air had seemed to grow tense as she felt more movement in the room as if it had been close to her. Though with her headphones fastened to the top of her head, she tuned out any sound that was directed near or towards her then. Instead, she reached into her bag as if nothing had happened to pulled out small belongings that she then inserted into the top drawer of the nightstand where it was easily accessible. Her small, rugged bag sat at her side where she could fit whatever necessary into the piece of furniture next to it. She couldn't say she had ever used one of these in about six years though she knew how to stay organized and it was how she sorted through everything inside.
After that point, she reached her hand into the bag once more, feeling the inside of it as if to check one final time for anything of hers. With her other hand, she brushed hair out of her face, usually behind her ear though with her headphones being in the way, it could only be moved to the side where it dangled near her face. She brought her hand back down, looking at the dirtied marks that had plagued her pale skin. Little did she know, the other female in the had attempted to make a connection with her and yet Shera had no idea with the lack of noise that reached her eardrums. Feeling as though it had been that time to give herself a clean feel, she began to stand from her bed, taking her identical hand from the bag as it fell to the floor from her doing so. She was stopped momentarily as another hand had been in her path, obscuring it however not stopping her. She simply gazed down at the hand and up at the girl who possessed it, thinking nothing of it and simply walking past her, going towards the bathroom where she closed the door behind her once inside.[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor= translarent; bordercolor= transparent; borderwidth= 0px; font-family: georgia; font-style: bold; font-size: 10pt; margin-bottom: -13px; letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: center; color: white; text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #ff345b; margin-left: -40px;]Sound is but a tool I use at my disposal[/fancypost]

Shera had already unclothed herself, the slightly dirty clothes now lying across the floor and her headphones sat in her hand after taking them off. She placed them carefully on the sink, looking for a second at the gray design before turning herself towards the shower behind her. Though she didn't have the tool she used to muffle sound, there was still very little she could hear. To her it had all sounded as if it were white noise, nothing playing in her ears even as a pounding sound had erupted nearby.
Unable to hear anything, she stepped carefully into the shower, nearly wincing at the rush of hot water that she had not been used to. Hot showers were a blessing from where she had come from but she had always let others have them instead of her because of how little they had. She stood for a moment with the water spraying on top of her, looking around the small space that consisted of what looked like a small chamber. Peering to the side, she had seen a small rack, a cloth already hanging from it with soap underneath. Everyone knew how to clean themselves, only she didn't seem to believe that it was so easy all over again and these things were just handed to them so easily. Picking up the soap, she began to wash herself, slowly and carefully as if it were her first time in years though it was simply her wanting to get rid of what had built up over the years.
Once finished, she had turned off the water just as easily as she had gotten it on, stepping out of the shower onto the rug that had been conveniently placed in front of it to catch any dripping water. Looking around, she grasped ahold of a white, folded towel nearby, carefully feeling the texture of the soft fabric before picking it up. She let it unfold itself, wrapping it around her to feel the slight comfort of wearing it though only with that came the thought of her not having clean clothes she had taken with her into the room. Looking around, she had hoped to find something just as easily as she had found other bathroom supplies, however there was no clothing to be found at first glance. She let out an unenthusiastic sigh, thinking she would need to go back into the room to get clothing that was given to them. It was simply a hope that they had been placed in the wardrobe.
She walked to the door, pausing for a second as she turned back to grab her beloved headphones from the sink along with her necklace. The previous clothes were left on the floor for the time being while the headphones dangled from around her neck and the necklace was thrown back on. They were the two items she didn't want to leave out of her sight. With that, she opened the door to see her roommate once more, squeezing past her in her towel to go towards one of the wardrobes next to the door. She used one hand to open the wooden door, the other tucking the corner of the towel on the inside to hold itself. Shera wasn't one to be shy in front of girls, not caring in the slightest that she had been walking around with a lack of clothing. It had only been the two of them inside the dorm at that point and as long as she hadn't been in public, she couldn't care less.[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor= translarent; bordercolor= transparent; borderwidth= 0px; font-family: georgia; font-style: bold; font-size: 10pt; margin-bottom: -13px; letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: center; color: white; text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #ff345b; margin-left: -40px;]Sound is but a tool I use at my disposal[/fancypost]

The wardrobe she had been looking through had been full of clothing in the lower drawers. The main part of the furniture held empty racks, used to hang up any clothes of the resident's choosing. She opened each of the four small drawers underneath to gather each article of clothing that had been separated by compartment. Upon doing so, she slung each piece around her arm and headed back into the bathroom. Until she had gotten her own clothes washed, she was going to have to wear whatever they had given her and being that they had been similar to uniform-wear, it would make students hard to complain over their "fashion sense" of regular clothing.
She closed the door from behind, not looking back as it clicked lightly into its hinge. Unhooking the towel, she allowed for it to fall to the floor easily, dropping the clothing onto the sink to pick through them one by one, throwing on a white, short-sleeved shirt, a black skirt with two white stripes, and black leggings underneath. There had been pants for those who had wanted to wear them though she simply decided to put on these for a change. Frankly, she didn't care much for whichever she choose, preferring pants more though deciding to switch up from time to time. The clothes seemed to have very little wrinkles, as if they all had been dry cleaned the day before and though it did look nice, it felt as though it was slightly creepy to how dedicated they seemed to make everything right.
Shera was brushing her shirt down over her skirt as she exited the bathroom, pausing for a moment as she saw the new face that was standing by the door. How long had she been standing there? she thought to herself, looking over the shy face and questionably subtle figure. She could tell she wouldn't be bothered with such a being living with her. Though that all depended on her act. She couldn't see the girl cause much of any harm with how docile she had looked compared to the other crazed-looking she-devil. "So what, are you just going to stand there all day?" she questioned the faun, simply having no regards to a respectful attitude towards a new face. With that question, she headed back towards her bed in awaits to an answer from the girl.
She sat down gently against the bed once more, grabbing her disheveled bag only to begin pushing it under the bed where it would stay for however long she decided it to which in reality, she couldn't care less for it. The drawer then opened to her nightstand as she peered through it, pushing through her things that she had placed inside of it as if she had been looking for something. Still, she wore her headphones on her head and yet she could hear what she wanted to hear even if it had been from far away, allowing for her to listen in to anything anyone wanted to say at that point. Until then, she had muted all sound, drowning out anything that may have been said previously or any noises that were made though now being that she had asked a question, she expected an answer at some point which gave her the obligation of hearing what it was.[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor= translarent; bordercolor= transparent; borderwidth= 0px; font-family: georgia; font-style: bold; font-size: 10pt; margin-bottom: -13px; letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: center; color: white; text-shadow: 0px 0px 10px #ff345b; margin-left: -40px;]Sound is but a tool I use at my disposal[/fancypost]
