    Personality
Quinn is the epiphany of teenage angst. She spends long nights on the internet and sleeps until noon. She is disorganized, easily distracted, as well as moody on bad days. She will talk a lot if she's upset and isolate herself when grumpy. On good days, she is a goofy little dork who has a pun for every word in your vocabulary. She can be smooth-talking and lovable, sometimes even going so far as to do random, unexpected favors for no reason other than to be nice.

    Other
She has the best darn fashion sense ever and nobody can tell me otherwise. Her closet consists solely of baggy pants, leggings, and t-shirts/sweaters with dumb graphics all over them.

This is the stereotypical Twilight-based vampire plot. My character, Elijah Doswell is a human girl who has just moved to a new town and is going to a new school. Your character is a vampire who attends that school. Needless to say, it's a love at first sight kind of ordeal. The problem is that Elijah attracts danger like bees to honey. When everything starts to go wrong in her life, your character is the one she turns to for consolation and, soon enough, they will be inseparable.

    IC:
Elijah walked into her first period class, her bookbag slung over one shoulder and her dark blonde curls draped over the other. It was her first day at Nookville Highschool and so far? She'd made friendly, albeit forced, conversation with a few people and everything was going okay. Not as terrible as she had expected, but not terrific. Just plain okay.

She was one of the first people in the literature classroom and her teacher, Ms. Cromwell, greeted her with a few polite words before directing her towards a desk in the front of the room. One small smile and a nod later, she had taken her seat and thereby began her first day of her new life.

Her greyish-blue eyes careened to the fiberglass surface of the desk and she ran her hand back through her hair. How had she missed him? A few moments passed before she glanced back up with a slow smile.

"Hi there," came her whispered reply. She eased her bookbag off of her shoulder and guided it beneath the chair with her foot. She raised a softly curved eyebrow when she looked back to the boy at her side. "Is this class any good? Or is it all Shakespeare and essay-writing?"

There was something about Zac that she liked. Whether it was the charm that seemed to come natural to him or how he was showing genuine interest in her, she was unable to place her finger. Either way, she got the feeling she was going to enjoy literature.

"I'm... Elijah." She angled her head to the side and, with an enigmatic smile, accepted his hand. Her eyes glinted in surprise at the touch and she was quick to draw back. The classroom was warm, and Zac must have been in there even longer than herself. Despite that, his hand was chilly- freezing, even. It had startled her, was all. I guess... he's just one of those who are always cold. she inferred after a brief moment in which she stared at him.

She shook her head as if to clear the thought. "And same, actually. But not Texas- I'm from Florida, hence the tan... How long have you lived here?" It was a breath of fresh air to know she wasn't the only outsider.

Hm, how about North or South Carolina? I'm fine with either honestly, but they're the only states of that list I know anything about since I've been to both.

    Ic//
Elijah scratched the back of her neck, shrugging. "Family," came her simple answer. "Well, a baby, actually. My dad and stepmom have a baby on the way, so they kind of guilted me into giving them some space." She was almost eighteen anyway. Soon enough, she would be able to come and go as she pleased.

After a moment, she willed a smile. "But this place really is quaint, huh? A... bit of a change from Tallahassee." It certainly couldn't compare to the towering buildings or ceaseless traffic of the Floridan capital. "I just moved in with my aunt. She's-"

Before she could further her statement, the teacher was in the front of the room and clearing her throat. The quiet hum of voices faded into gradual silence. Elijah looked around, surprise evident across her sun-kissed features. She had been so wrapped up in talking to Zac that she failed to notice people as they entered. Everybody was curious about the new girl. She could almost feel their fleeting glances from every corner of the room, even though her back was turned to them all.

No sound nor breeze dared break the still silence of the early morning. The Girl tread with silent feet through a dark, suburban side street. Golden hair tied back in a bun, pale, leggiadrous limbs moving with haste. This place, this miserable little town, was where she had been made just over two hundred years ago.

Made, that is, into an immortal. A vampire. She was the fledgling, if you will, of a vampire who she had not seen in almost a hundred and fifty years. They had fallen out more times than one, and, in the end, The Girl had skipped town in an act of mindless impulse, deadset on keeping her distance. And she had kept her distance until now.

She could feel the presence of others like her, other immortals, in the air around her, but this was nothing out of the ordinary. None of the presences were any stronger or weaker to her than in the past, but she could not help but to wonder... Was her creator still there? Did she still reside in this little town, waiting, perhaps, for her to return?

OOC: The habits of the vampires in this thread are based off of Interview with the Vampire. So your character is the vampire who turned my character into a vampire many years ago. After one hundred and fifty years, my character, a vampire named Josephine, has returned to the town where she last saw her maker. Basically, your character finds mine and things will go from there.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; bordercolor= invisible; borderwidth= 0px; overflow: auto; width: 300px; font-family: times new roman; color: --;][hr][justify][sup]Hm. Let's have this set in modern years. (although I would also be fine with it being towards the end of the 16th century bc i find that time completely enchanting.) And the plot is similar to Interview with a Vampire, if you've read that. Like the relationship between Louis and Lestat in a way, but with our own characters and spin on things, naturally.

Josephine was nineteen when your character made her. They lived in a small seaside town at the time, that became more and more industrialized as time went on. (a fictional town, really.) They are both wealthy, but often clashed in opinion which was what led to Josephine's eventual departure. Of course they loved each other as any maker loves his fledgling and as any fledgling loves his maker. In this sad, irrevocable way.

And your character could have made her for any number of reasons. Loneliness, gain in wealth, gain in power, etc. She was living under the household of her wealthy brother and he was to marry her off soon had your character not caught her outside one evening, tending to the dogs since, at the time, her brother was sick and could not do so himself.

ALSO! One more thing. Josephine has spent the last century and a half traveling around the world, but she has returned to this town in the hopes that her maker has not gone out into the sun or jumped into a fire as is common of vampires who no longer wish to exist. She will not want to remain long, as she will make plain to him, but offers him the opportunity to travel around with her. Perhaps they can go to other countries together? If not, then the plot will be that they simply stay together in the same place, but your character knows that she will not want to remain long, so he takes drastic measures himself. Whatever you please is fine with me.

I'm on mobile in my journalism class right now, and I tend to have an odd sleeping schedule, so it may not be often that I am able to reply myself.

I say it takes place somewhere in California.

And awesome! It all sounds like a plan to me. Time to do some geographical studying. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask, and you can start from the first post, with Zac discovering Josephine.

By the way, they did spend several years living together before she broke away from him so they are acquainted and whatnot.
