he was always meant to be the kind of character that would slowly go insane

so when he was promoted to deputy i was like

"shit's going to happen"

NAME | rookpaw / rookfur
GENDER | male

APPEARANCE | rookpaw is a shorthaired charcoal bengal with silvery undertones. his cloud rosettes are pitch black and cascade from the tips of his ears down to his toes, causing the male to resemble a prowling panther. he is what one can consider a dusty, darkened grey tom and he appears as though he is constantly covered in the ashes of a fire. he has hazel eyes with glistening specks of amber atop the swampy green that dominates his ovular irises. his chest, underbelly and paws are much softer in tone, so they are therefore silver and contour his body with a youthful demeanor. he is what one can consider to have a pretty face, but this is the clear result of breeders trying to create the perfect looking bengal.

PERSONALITY | he's apathetic and a fairly reserved tom. he can often be seen as rude when it comes to his treatment of others as he fails to exhibit or feel empathy. he's avoidant of loathsome tasks and will often steer clear from situations where he can sense trouble brewing. rookpaw is also unlikely to point out a hatred or distaste for something, figuring it may just be his misjudgment or assuming the other to be too incompetent to take what he is saying. he is awfully judgmental and quite critical of others, but keeps a lot of this to himself as he isn't fond of breathing tension. he is very devoid and detached to his clanmates, and cares more for himself rather than taking the time to try and understand the way his clanmates think and act - to him, they are very complicated and dramatic. he thinks life is a frail thing and doesn't care much about it, in fact showing very little guilt to his actions. truth be told, he simply has not grasped the complete concept of right or wrong and doesn't hesitate when it comes to lying or blatantly hurting another's feelings. he's not very ambitious and rather lazy. he's the type of cat who thinks: "you live your way, i'll live my way".

FUTURE PLOTS | when he gets older, but before becoming a warrior, will be a part of a vicious war where half of his face will be raked off. this might result in a name change to halfface, but he might end up keeping his current name. depending on muse and where he is headed in terms of his relation to others, he might progressively begin to lose his vision as it is a common health problem that occurs in bengal cats.

i want to revisit a character that was going to be called fairies that hide under toadstools (fairy)

but i notice this tribe is dominated with female characters and every character i have is male

um

should i just add to the overwhelming population of female characters or just play another male character? lmao

i was more or less paying attention to the genders i saw in threads ^^;

i understand the active characters are very little so whatever gender i choose doesn't matter so much but there's just a surprisingly large population of females, but i guess i see that among a lot of other clans too

i don't think cherrystar can come back considering he's definitely dead and has given lives to the leaders already

but, saying that, i'd love for him to haunt everyone's dreams or show up as a cat to bring prophecies

as he's dead and in starclan, he's actually not crazy anymore

his gift is always "clarity" or "truth" as a reminder that he lacked both of those qualities as a leader

he's probably my only character to have ever had kids. my former bloodclanner, nikolaos, almost had kids with freya and taboa but it never happened because the frikoa (it started as a joke ok) never happened officially as freya died and nikolaos fell inactive.

i'm semi-confused. do i roleplay with them as if they have already made it to darkclan or should i make a joining thread?
