Kazuli quickly put his shoes back on and ran after them. He picked the girl and used his demon speed to get slightly ahead of the herd of cats.
Meanwhile, at the Gainsborough Manor, Ino was unsure of what to do about the knocking. Lawson of the house had gone upstairs, leaving him and the children alone. Now, someone was knocking on the door.
-
Kazuli stumbled slightly under the weight of all the cats, but continued to run. "Where are we going?" He asked the girl in his arms around the fluff of a bunch of cats.
-
(I would flip my computer again, but then it might actually break. Also, when was that said?!?)
Ino kept his face averted from the gaze of the new woman. He felt the little girl wrap her arms around his neck as the boy hugged his waist. "Yes ma`am. I did come from the circus."
-
Ino simply stares down at his feet, a curtain of hair hiding his face from her. The children both nodded in response to the lady's question.
-
(Guys Ino is like, flipping out inside. He just escaped from a circus, and now all the people are coming!!!)
Kazuli took his shoes off as well, mirroring the girl. He wondered idly when he would be able to make a contract.
Ino, Isa (the girl), and Lyo (the boy) all twitched when the door made noise again. That meant more people.
-
Kazuli looked down at the hugging boys, raising an eyebrow gently. He wondered, in a moment of human-like softness, what a hug like that felt like. He quickly dismissed the thought and leaned against a wall, watching the room.
Ino backed into a shadowed corner, fearful of the sudden amount of people and cats in the room.
-
Kazuli had seen the grin and was immediately interested.
Ino and co. were still terrified.
-
(Yay an orchestra buddie!)
Kazuli huffed and sat next to Ashleigh. He had expected something else by the grin of that boy. Disappointed, he watched the girl next to him play with the string. He smiled and picked up a piece, dangling it around in front of the girls face playfully.
Ino and co. perked up slightly at the arrival of the cello. Ino and Isa stayed by the wall, Ino keeping his face hidden, but Lyo stepped away from him slightly. He walked timidly around the cats, trying to get a better look at the instrument.
-
(also, a new demon.)
Kazuli chuckled at the girl. He turned his gaze to the boy playing the cello, catching his gaze. Kazuli smirked and winked, then turned back to the girl.
Lyo continued to walk towards the cello, completely enthralled by the music.
-
Kazuli reached towards the girls ears, wanting to pet them. They looked so incredibly soft...
-
Kazuli stopped petting the girl just long enough to clap politely. He had never particularly liked human music.
Lyo did not applaud. He simply stood in front of the instrument with his head tilted. He wondered why it had stopped making noise. He had liked that noise and he wanted it to come back.
-
Lyo watched him before he felt something tugging on his shirt. He turned to see his sister attempting to pull him back to Ino who was looking extremely nervous. He walked back to the man with the girl quickly. She climbed up Ino and nestled herself against his chest.
Kazuli continued to pet the girl beside him while watching the older lady across the room. Something was off about her, he decided. He would have to watch her.
-
(Whoops!!!! Totally forgot about that!!!!!)
Kazuli smirked back. "Not like it hasn't happened before." He responded coolly.
-
Kazuli stood regretfully and strode to the window. Just as she had said, a person was lying on the ground, blood spreading quickly through the puddles. "Well you better hurry if you want a meal." He said to her. "I'm sure those silly reapers will be here soon."
-
"Heh. I've always loved a good mystery." Kazuli proclaimed, rolling his shoulders before glancing back at the cat-girl. "And a damsel in distress..." An insane grin split his face and he ran his tongue along his sharpened fangs.
-
Momentarily confused by her words and the blood pumping in his head, he wondered if she meant she loved mysteries or damsels. He wanted to claim Ashleigh as his, but decided against it. He simply frowned in stubborn annoyance. He knew that Deanna was powerful. Although she was only a level or two above him, he still knew better than to anger her. He had learned that the hard way....
-
"Agreed..." Kazuli muttered, looking out the window again, wondering who had killed the person.
-
Kazuli pulled the boy's hair teasingly. "She's right, sweet-cheeks." He let his eyes slit and change to their true purpleish-red color. "The culprit could be anywhere!"
-
Kazuli laughed and leaned away from the boy. "Hey now! No need to threaten me!" He continued to grin maliciously. "But honestly, could you really?" He rushed his upper body at the boy's face, stopping barely a hair's width away from his nose, snapping his jaws.
-
Hunger made his blood boil, making him unruly and insane. Somewhere in his mind, the last bit of sanity tried to get him to listen to the boy, but he was pretty far gone. His eyes swirled madly. "Heh heh. Why should I?" He asked, not moving his face.
