Ross couldn't help but sqeaul in delight.
"I see." said the Zangoose with disappointment in his voice. He lightly tossed the stone aside. Before the stone landed in the snow he had closed the distance between them. Two scoops of snow in each hand were flung both at Wisp and the Scolipede.
-
"Go get em Bella and Wisp!" cheered Ross from above.
Wisp shot a quick glance at Aspen. "Hopefully you can be of some use." he sneered. He quickly charged and fired a Hyper Beam.
Aspen mumbled something as his leaves sharpened.
The Zangoose backed away from the entrance to avoid the Scolipede, and once again to dodge the Hyper Beam. "As troublesome as I was told you all are."
-
The Zangoose rushed forward this time, his claws at the ready as he attempted to parry the move with a Slash.
-
The Zangoose took the blow to his arm, but using his other arm managed to grab hold of her tail. With his strength he managed to pull himself onto her back.
Wisp held another Hyper Beam at bay, waiting for a clear shot to become available.
-
The Zangoose stepped back to avoid them while forming a Focus Blast with his good arm. "It's not my first."
-
The fact that he was alive made Vincent appreciate more than his day. He arched an eyebrow when she yawned. Even he had to admit it had been a long day, though he wasn't tired just yet. "I guess you'll be hitting the hay soon."
-
"Persistent bunch." growled the Zangoose as the string shot entangled his bad arm. He hopped off the Scolipede's back, swinging on the srting shot like a vine before slicing through it with a Slash. His eyes darted up toward Malcom and Ross. This is taking too long. I need to make this quick.
-
The Zangoose didn't have much room to evade. He placed both arms in front of him in preparation to defend against the attack.
-
The Zangoose was sprawled out in the snow. After remaining still for several seconds he finally got up. His body shook and his breathing was heavy, but he still had fight in his eyes..
-
Wisp soon came up on one side, and Aspen on the other, leaving the Zangoose little to no room.
The Zangoose stared at each of them, then shrugged. "Guess I don't have much of a choice."
-
"A couple of nuggests and a razor claw." said the Zangoose nonchalantly as he dusted some of the snow off of him.
-
The Zangoose stared blankly at the Scolipede. "A Gengar, huh. How strange. I was suppose to go retrieve one after this mission."
-
The Zangoose started walk away, bumping into Wisp as he left. "Possible. He worked for her before. I'm suppose to convince him. . .not my strong point." He paused for a moment, as if thinking about something. "She does have a lot more bounty hunters under her control, so she'll possibly send more."
-
Despite the fact that his mind was in a dreary state, Bryce could still sense something was troubling the Queen. "If it's about Ren, you needn't worry. She can handle herself quite well." he stated, making it seem like a guaranteed fact.
-
Aspen rubbed the back of his head. There was some nervousness in his voice. "Well. . .I guess we can, but even I don't know my way in that direction."
Wisp snorted roughly. "Sure, why not."
-
Aspen and Wisp both nodded in union with Aspen opting to walk by the Scolipede's side and Wisp walking ahead to catch up with the Zangoose.
Ross stuck close to Malcom. "Bella, where are we going?"
-
Ross crossed his arms as he searched his mind to recall what a Gengar was.
Wisp was now walking at the Zangoose's side. "I'm curious as to how you know where this Gengar is."
"Sophia told me she suspected him to be in a certain area." responded the Zangoose.
-
Vincent pondered on whether or not he should make a joke about that, but though the better of it. He exhaled once they both left, and it was then that he realized he'd been holding his breath for awhile. "I wonder how I'll fair tomorrow." he mused to himself.
-
The moon was high overhead by the time the Zangoose arrived at the destination. It was an almost completely barren field except for a life less tree in the middle. "This is the place supposedly." yawned the Zangoose.
-
There was a sudden screech, and before they knew it the group was surrounded by Ghastlys, Duskulls, Yamask, and other various ghost pokemon.
The high pitched noise managed to awake Ross from his slumber.
Wisp turned to the Zangoose. "What's going on!" he barked.
"How should I know?" said the Zangoose. He seemed unfazed by the event.
