Ivyfoot padded up to the white kit in the clearing who seemed as if he were in a trance.
"Hey Icekit? You okay?" She asked, and then noticed he was staring at a beautiful stone.
"What you got there?"

Ooc: If you want, I can fullfill the role of mentor, but I might not be active 24/7 though.
IC: Mysticpelt sat in front of the fresh kill pile in Thunderclan's clearing, waiting for his apprentice, Brightpaw. His tail twitched with anticipation. He couldn't believe that the leader had assigned him the job as a mentor, but nether the less, he was excited and pleased. -
"Alright," Foxpaw purred. "Let's get going then."
-
Foxfur cautiously padded in to Fourtrees, unsure what to expect. This was the first time she participated in a gathering and there were way too many cats here, more than she had ever seen in one place at least.
-
"So we are nearing the Riverclan border?" Foxpaw asked, following closely behind
-
"Yes, actually," she awkwardly smiled. "Its very crowded here. I'm not too used to crowds. I'm Foxfur by the way."
-
Foxpaw nodded and saw the bridge in the distance.
-
"Skull?" She asked, "that's an odd name, but a good one. Oh, and hi Morningpaw. Its nice to meet both of you."
The red brown she cat felt weird talking with cats besides her clanmates, but was glad she wasn't alone. -
Foxpaw took a deep breathe, taking in the strange new scent, and noticed a cat few foxlengths away fishing in the river on the other side of the border. She made a face.
"They catch fish? Doesn't the water bother them?" -
"Mushrooms work too," Foxfur nodded and began to follow the given advice.
-
"Well, I'm glad I'm a Thunderclan then because I hate getting my fur wet. Its infuriating," Foxpaw said optimistically.
"Where to next?" -
Foxfur nodded in agreement. She was eager to help get those kits back. She didn't understand why Windclan would ever take a living creature to hurt another clan. What they were doing was just like pouring gasoline on a fire. Of course something dangerous would happen! They were going to get burned.
"I suppose we should go through the entrance that that theif used. Maybe we can pick up their scent trail to figure out how they got in to our territory without us being alarmed."
She then padded over to the small tunnel dug beneath the bramble and flicked her tail. -
"Cool, but you know, not the invading thing," Foxpaw purred. 8)
-
"I really don't mind the weather, hot or cold," Nightfeather said, "What bothers me is the green cough and lack of prey in the winter."
Ironically, the smell of a vole filled her nose. She turned to Moonpelt and flicked her tail silently towards the prey.
"Its yours if you want it," she whisperred. -
Foxfur began to squirm in to the tunnel, the moist dirt feeling disgusting. All she could smell was something rotten and dampness. She was glad to finally make it out, her eyes blinking at the sunlight. She flicked her ears to get the dirt off of them and sat, waiting for the others.
-
"Aren't there adders here though?" Foxpaw asked, slowing her pace.
-
"Yeah, its interesting. Where did you find it? I've never seen a stone like it before," Ivyfoot asked, extending a paw to cautiously flip the strange object.

Silverheart felt terrible deliverring the news to any cat who joined them. It simply reminded her of her own entrance to the afterlife, but beyond her own selfish suffering, she hated most of the reactions. She hated to be the one the one to break a cat's heart. It made her feel guilty, but she knew that this was only the job she was assigned.
"You are in Starclan Lightpaw. Your life bound to the earth is over and a new life has begun," Silverheart meowed softly. -
"Okay, good," Foxpaw nodded, leaping on to the rock beside her, "but better to be safe than sorry. I mean, I'm sure you wouldn't like having to explain why your newest apprentice has a venomous snake bite in her leg."
-
Ivyfoot noticed the annoyance in the cat's eyes, and she instantly pulled away her paws, embarrassed. She usually wasn't very curious, but this was an interesting subject. Although, the annoyance in Icekit's eyes did seem a little to harsh. The strange stone or gem seemed like it was something personal to him.
