"Er, no," meowed Dewstar awkwardly, then she jogged back to her den.

Ferntail was too late for the hunting patrol, so she went on one herself. She padded out of the camp and raced throught the forest, feeling the cool air in her lungs. "I love the forest," she sighed to herself. Then, she heard a soft rustle in the bushes. She expertly dropped into the hunters crouch, and started stalking the mouse, which she could identify by it's smell. She creeped forward on soft pads and pounced. She caught the mouse and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. She padded back to camp with her catch.
