Morningpaw gathered with the rest of the Clan. Oh, how I wish I could stand there and be announced a warrior.... She thought. Being a warrior meant new possibilities, new responsibilities, new experiences!

Morningpaw nodded to Darkstripe and headed out to hunt, she wanted to see why that annoying tom-cat had been speaking with her. So Morningpaw padded towards the border, stopping in some bushes some fox-lengths away and began to hunt. She kept one eye on the border, making sure that if the tom came back and decided to cross the border, she could see him and chase him back. I'm doing something for my Clan! She thought, fiercely. But she still hoped Darkstripe or Tigerflame wouldn't catch her. Sun high came and she eventually gave up, she turned to head back to camp with her catch of two mice, a vole and a small thrush.

Morningpaw padded through the entrance to camp. She put her catch on the fresh-kill pile. Then looked around. She picked up the thrush and two mice and padded to the nursery, depositing her thrush in the center of the den and heading off to the elders with one of the mice, then put the last mouse into the medicine den for the patients and medicine cat.

Morningpaw heard shrieks and sounds of battle. Her heart burned with rage and her green eyes narrowed to slits. She raced through the trees and flung herself head first into battle. Cats were being pinned down by WindClan everywhere. Morningpaw looked around, picked her target, who was clawing at a ThunderClan cat's belly fur. She took the cat by the scruff and flung him aside. Then she checked that the cat she had saved was okay and satisfied began helping her clan mates. Once she leaped on a WindClan cat's back as she was about to pounce on an apprentice, she raked her claws along the WindClan cat's spine until they yowled and fled. Her fur was matted and messy, bits of moss stuck to her fur and blood, her own and others, stained her pelt. She saw a two cats attacking a warrior and pounced, the cat turned around and leaped for her, she clawed his ears repeatedly but he was stronger, he put his paws on her chest and held her down, his teeth at her neck as she battered vainly against his belly fur, her hind claws barely finding their mark. She raked his muzzle with needle sharp claws, but it didn't seem to affect him.

"Sorry, Darkstripe..." Morningpaw muttered. "But there was no one to fight with when I came, so I just went to help anyone I could."

OCC: Morningpaw didn't say full on attacks arent best aloud, she thought that.

Morningpaw looked around but everyone was paired up and defending each other. I'll just try to help as many cats as I can.... She thought. Darting out of the way as a small WindClan apprentice battled an older ThunderClan warrior. They're fine. She thought. Looking around cats lay bleeding and exhausted everywhere.

Morningpaw was racing to the training hollow in hope of training with Deathclaw and Whitepaw. As she dashed to the training hollow she bashed head long into Deathclaw, tripped of a bramble, rolled into some nettles, bashed her head on a rock and finally got stuck in a thorn bush. "OWWWW!!" She yowled, her eyes watering. Her nose was swelling from the nettle sting, her head ached and every part of her body was screaming from the pain of the thorns pricking into her her.

Morningpaw headed back, she was planning to take some herbs into battle to help the injured. As she reached the med. den she heard a kit crying, she dashed inside. Sunkit was on the floor bleeding. Morningpaw gasped. "Sunkit, what happened??" Morningpaw took some cobwebs as she waited for Sunkit's reply.

Morningpaw's heart beat faster. She plastered the cobwebs on the wound to stop the blood. The she took Sunkit carefully by the scruff and carried her to the crevice where the med. cat kept herbs, then she grabbed a load of moss and covered Sunkit with it. "Keep still and silent till the battle is over and I'm back, ok??" Morningpaw breathed, before running back into the forest. She saw Tigerflame fighting alone. Fine, I'll partner him. She thought. As he was battling she came around behind them and slashed the apprentice's ears.

Morningpaw had been hanging around in the clearing ever since the bramble incident, she had heard Deathclaw's murmered words. "I just wanted a friend." Morningpaw lay silent, thinking in the apprentice's den. I feel like that to. I still need a friend....... a friend who isn't obsessed with someone else... Tears trickled down her cheeks, she thought of her mother, killed, her father a traitor in ShadowClan, her siblings gone into ShadowClan too, she was all alone. Too alone.
