Ravenpaw craned her head up to gaze at all the dens in the huge tree. "If you are so different, how do you not kill each other? Such differences must lead to inevitable conflict." She meowed. Then she turned to Ozonestar. "How long does this peace last?"

Ravenstar thrashed in her nest.
The Moonstone glittered, filling the cavern. But it was a cold, indifferent light. In the shadows, she shivered as yowls from outside the cave rattled her ears. Drops of blood trickled through the cave ceiling, staining the stone crimson. The yowls softened into a low, keening wail. Ravenstar flattened her ears against her head but the wailing continued. She raced out of the cavern and onto the moor. Fog swirled around her. For a small beautiful second, the sound stopped. For one second, everything was calm. When the wailing returned, it was accompanied by the fog swirling into shapes of claws and teeth flashing across her eyes. One blow came dangerously close to her head and
She jolted herself awake. Ravenstar frantically glanced around her to reassure herself that she was safe in the walls of her den.

Ravenpaw looked away thoughtfully, then began to the warrior den.
-
Raven stood with mist surrounding her paws. Her ears twitched as she waited for Mintleaf. Windrunner sat in front of her, gazing into the trees absent mindedly.
"Raven, who am I waiting for?"
"A cat who doesn't be believe that a Starclan cat would come to a loner like me."
"You were in a terrible way when I found you."
Raven sniffed. "I was not. I was just scared and lost."
"And taking no care of yourself. I know you missed your parents but you cannot lose the will to live like that. I don't care what you see but you are a fantastic cat."
"Others don't think that. This cat I am waiting for says loners don't belong in a Clan."
"That is why I sent you. So that you wouldn't be alone anymore."
"If you insist." Raven to a nearby river and jumped in. When she resurfaced, a large, glowing trout was in her jaws. She flicked water off her fur and laid the fish on the ground. "What do they think of me?"
"I am old and wise. I am not a mindreader Raven." Windrunner padded over and shared the fish. "Besides, whatever they think about you now doesn't really matter because they don't know you yet. Not the real you. You need to show them the cat that will defend her friends to the death. But not a fool. Brave and clever but not sly."
"Yes Windrunner."
-
Ravenpaw turned around. "It's ok! I'm not hungry right now. Let another cat have it."
-
Ravenpaw turned into the forest and searched for some prey to hunt. Thrush! She climbed into a tree and spotted it a few branches away. She jumped over to it and batted it out of the air. It landed deftly on the ground and she picked it up to take back to the camp.

(can I jump in?)
Name: Ginger Willow
Race: Elf/human
Appearance:
Occupation: Hired assassin (currently working for Sauron)
History: Ran away and grew up trained by orcs. Soon, she surpassed her trainers and left. Now she hunts anyone as long as the price is right. -
Ginger sat in the trees quietly, watching the scene. Her bow was drawn at the one who called himself Halt. She grinned, thinking about the bounty on this man. But curiosity got the better of her. Keeping her hood up, she put away her bow and replaced the arrow in her quiver. "Hello down there!"
-
Ginger chuckled. "It really is amazing how little you people actually look up. Sometimes danger is to your left or right but you never think of above!"
-
"Are you boys going to stand there into the morrow or what? Continue your domestic later!" She spoke ina man voice. A woman warrior? How would they react? Ginger stood and began going from branch to branch before jumping to the ground about 10 yards from them before taking off. "Catch me if you can!" She reached up to make sure her hood was covering her flaming mane of hair.

Ooc: Raven has almost joined the clan. We heard a weird growl and now Daggerpaw and Raven are going to investigate. Daggerpaw wants to shred Raven and Raven would be fine fighting him so far. He doesn't approve of her.
-
Once out of sight, Ginger cursed herself for not letting the arrow fly. That was money she needed and that had been a golden chance. Now she would go home in defeat and wait for him again. She flicked her hood down and walked to the river on the edge of town. She lived in a little section of the maintenance tunnel under the bridge. She sighed as she opened the trap door and took a lantern off it's hook down into the depths with her. Once down the ladder, she used the fire in the lantern to light a small chandelier that she rigged a long time ago. On her desk were some various knives and arrowheads. She sat on her bed and stared up at the ceiling. Why didn't I let that arrow fly? She pondered the question for a few minutes before an insane idea dawned on her. Maybe I could get into the Orc Hunting league. But I'd need a horse to get to the Orc Plains. Even then, my current target could grow old and die before I got there. She had to hunt him. If I don't, someone else will anyway. It's just a question of weather I want the bounty or not.
I do.

Ravenstar sat in her den, taking deep breaths to calm herself. What was the horrible wailing? The claws. What was to come for the Clan? Something was very wrong since Leafheart's death.
-
Ginger nodded. "I'm fine. Thank you." Ginger glanced at the medicine den. "Will the other apprentice be alright? She has been unconcious for a very long time." She noticed the stiffness of the other cat. "If I'm a bother, I'll leave. After that attack, I'm just nervous about the dogs. They attacked a whole Clan. Who's to say they won't hesitate to kill a lone cat? I've met them alone and that was when my parents......." Ginger broke off. "If I'm a problem, I'll leave tonight."
-
It said harrypotter/lord of the rings?
-
Raven stiffened. A cat? That is what has made the whole Clan jumpy? She jumped down and landed next to Daggerpaw, then turned to the cat. "Hello, my name is Raven and just one question. Who are you and why have you come here? No, I am not a Clan cat but anyone who threatens others is on my shredding list." She unsheathed her claws and glared at the cat.

Is Luna taken?
-
Ginger's fur laid flat. "If anyone needs me, I'll be hunting. Outside the territory." She turned away and padded out of the camp.
