((Ok. I've waited long enough. We're going ahead and starting))
Aurorastar padded around the camp, looking around. The sun had just broken the skyline and dawn had just approached. She stretched a little as she looked at the Fresh kill pile. She frowned a little. She'd have to get her daughters to go hunting. Ah. Her beautiful daughters. They were growing up so fast. But then, all children do. They had just become apprentices. It had killed her to give them up, but she knew it was for the greater good of the clan. Though she wasn't about to lose them. She kept them near her in the clan, always checking on them. Especially her son, Dabpaw. She hated what she did to him. But she was glad that he had found his calling. walking over to the Apprentice Den, she watched her daughters sleep for a minute with a smile before walking over t the Medicine Den to watch her son sleep for a minute. They deserved some rest. It only got harder from here.
Strawpaw slowly woke up, thinking she felt someone's eyes on her, but when she opened her own eyes, she didn't see anyone there. Shrugging she got up and stretched, shaking out her coat a bit before walking over to her sister and pushing her shoulder to wake her up. "Morning sleepy head. Get up before our mentors come get us." She said before padding out of the den to wait for her mentor.
Ashpaw groaned as her sister pushed her shoulder with her paw and slowly uncovered her eyes. She glared after her sister for a minute before sighing and getting up. She did have a point. Their mentors would probably be there any minute now. Stretching she groomed herself a bit to make herself presentable she walked out and sat down beside her sister. "Thanks for waking me up oh so nicely furball. I could've slept a little longer since you think it's a brilliant idea to stay up half the night because of nerves." She said a little irritated as she licked her paw and started cleaning her face. She just got a sheepish grin from her older sister as they waited for their mentors.
Dabpaw woke up the second he felt eyes on him. He knew who it was before he even opened his eyes. "Good morning Mom" He said and she just smiled before walking out before she woke up the medicine cat. She was grateful to her for allowing her son to be a medicine cat. He needed a place he could belong without judgement or pity. He sighed as he got up and stretched with a small yawn. his mother was always checking on him. Though he understood why she had to give them up, he wasn't exactly happy about it. Oh well. He mostly got left alone now. People understood his usefulness and so didn't question it anymore. Looking over at his mentor, he slowly padded out as not to bother her while went to see what he could find to give to her from the fresh kill pile.
