Alastair is an odd person to be a noble. Most people mistake him for being greedy and cunning, becoming a noble by unfair means. Which is untrue, to say the least. Alastair is a clever businessman who became a powerful aristrocrat by the means of pure negotiation. Nobody truly knows exactly which industry he used to climb to power, but he managed to do it. To the public eye, he wears a blank-slate expression at all times and speaks in a rather formal matter, which leads some to believe that he is hiding something.
To those who know him personally, they tag him as being a smart-aleck at times and constantly wanting a challenge. He can be bored easily and he doesn't have much patience for people that don't know what they're talking about. He'd be more than happy to play an intense game of chess with you if you feel up to a hefty challenge.

While Alastair faintly remembers his past, he was born into a peasant's family. It was unheard of - a legendary pokemon born into a lowly family, and expectations were set high. He managed to live up to them; starting to learn the ways of business at a young age by befriending a noble's son who visited his town on a regular basis. He visited their mansion almost weekly, and his friend's parents recognized his potential and let him sometimes partake in their son's private tutoring. He learned very much himself, and left his town at a young age to become a merchant. Since he had previous knowledge of how the business world worked, Alastair quickly gained money over the years. With several decades of time put into this world of business, he soon practically crowned himself a noble.

Icarus' personality is as flaming hot as his soul companion's fire. He has a rather short temper with no tolerance towards idiocy. He gets into fights easily and often is the cause of them. He is also very stubborn with his opinions, and isn't afraid to verbally confront you with any issue. This leads to lots of problems, as he commonly gets in trouble due to "disrespect" towards his superiors. (which means he got irked and started contradicting him in a very rude manner.) He is also very honest and refuses to sugercoat anything.
Around people he knows and trust (which is very few - he isn't that trusting) he tends to be a lot calmer and won't try to spark wildfires as much as he usually does. Also, these select people are the same people he feels are more family then friends. They also know what makes him tick, so they know how to stop him before he gets into any trouble, etc...

Icarus was born into a poor family of merchants. His relatives tried to force him to become a merchant, but he managed to get away fairly quickly. In exchange for his family to get quite a bit of money, Icarus joined the military.

Irene is a very laid back person. While talking business, she stays rather calm but she is very serious. She rarely takes things personally, and often forgets that not everybody is like that. She is honest but not rude, and tries to help those who she deems worthy of it. Irene is also very accustomed to being alone, so she doesn't bore easily. With this, she also doesn't have the greatest social skills and almost always is working on making weaponry, whether it's for commission or personal projects.
Irene is also very nit-picky about her swords. She'll completely scrap one if there's even a minor mistake, no extra charge. She is also very stubborn and is far from a push-over.
