    The female was usually a feline, and it was hard to imagine herself as anything else. Now, though, the canine would settle in the tall grasses of the prairie land that made up a portion of the Clan's territory. This was her favourite place, and if she closed her eyes, she could imagine herself back in the old valley, crouching among the dried stalks of hay-like grass and hunting on a warm afternoon. Now, flicking her ear to get a fly away from buzzing around her, the young Catahoula cur would wince as she worked her shoulder around in a circle. Her feline form was so badly messed up that it was affecting all of Summer's forms, and this form was only partially able to withstand the brunt of the injuries. The effects of the main body's torturing had been spread out onto each and every other form. The fruit bat had issues flying; it's right wing would spasm violently in mid-flight. The mudi was half-blind and half-deaf now. King, Cyrus, and Boy were all silent and she couldn't even tap into that form anymore. And the Catahoula had taken the burns from the previous fire to the new one, and she'd had to have her left shoulder relocated, since the dislocation had followed her over into this form. It was still incredibly stiff and sore.

    However, hatred and fear churned in Summerconstellations' belly, and her heavy tail thumped between her back legs with her conflicting emotions. There were no high ranks as of yet, Ringo hadn't made any official announcement yet, but she didn't want any of her Clanmates caught off-guard like she had been. With a loud howl, she would summon her Clan to the prairie. "Battle and self-defense training in the prairie! Now!" A lot of the woman's tact had been stolen from her since her brutal suffering, and her emotions were frayed. She was no longer the passive, level-headed female, not for the time being at least. There was fury and physical and emotional pain in her eyes.

    She could only be happy that it had been her tortured and nobody else in her Clan.

    Yet.

    [color=black][b][size=8]Hey, it's alright. I've been inactive as well, but I have high muse and not a lot of time to dish out to SkyClan, much less my other character. I'm just trying to help get everything up and running.

    Summer will be very antagonistic for the war, so if Ringo says yes (meaning, if everyone here says yay for it), she's gonna go batsh1t on them.

    For the private with Puddles, I mean... How far did you get? And could you maybe just say that the thread was finished even though it wasn't for the sake of plot? I understand if you'd rather finish it with them, so of course, give them a little bit more time, but there's always that need for continuing with or without (sorry if this is incredibly rude, I'm really trying to be as polite and realistic as possible here).

    The party idea could be IC, so the character's have more hands-on to it, and setting up for it could be a series of weekly tasks given out? If that makes sense. Or it could be OOC planning and then all thrown together into one thread immediately instead of multiple threads leading up to it.

    As for the fire being enough for now, I absolutely get it, but I also forgot it happened. My bad.

    That's one yay for war.

    One yay for a celebration/party of some sort.

    And a nay-for-now for natural disaster.

    also i'm going to have summer have a litter with an npc so maybe that'll help activity

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52][b]

    [color=black][size=8]Hm. Well. Give it a day or two and then if there's still no response, you can say it ended and move on with the plot? Because with the activity of this Clan being so low, we can't wait too long...

    Stifling a chitter of amusement at the term 'weird clan place,' Summer would shrug her itty bitty bat shoulder and glance towards Royalguard. These two apprentices seemed kind enough, and there wasn't a scent on them that signaled danger to the female, and she had a heightened sense of it at the moment in her own opinion. Realizing that was making them uncomfortable, odd considering the tiger beside her, and she took a couple hops back, giving them space from her very peculiar appearance. How many fruit bats were considered normal-sighting around a Clan? Exactly.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52]summerconstellations !

    Unable to hide her soft chuckle, she nodded. "It'll do. What brings you this way? You smell of Clan, but also of loner." She could relate. She'd once lived here long before now, and had slipped out into the unknown territory and disappeared from Clanlife for several moons. Perhaps that is what this one had done. But she couldn't hide the fact that this territory was pretty secluded from other Clans, and it took a few odd turns to end up here.

    Or good turns, if you were a positive thinker.

    // would you like something to happen? perhaps an attack of some sort from an NPC wild animal or it to start raining or..? because I would love for this to get off the ground, but i'm museless. whoops.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52][b]

    [color=black][size=8]spacexual, im gay too. -fist bump-

    that's a good idea for the mini attacks, much better than what I was thinking of just having the whole Clan do a rush-in, little-thought attack. no clue why i didn't think of small warnings lol.

    two yay for war.

    two yay for party.

    and two nay-for-nows for natural disaster.

    Summer was quite intuitive to this character, Bookworm had been equally awkward in her opinion, and the way the male seemed uncertain when she chuckled interested her. But the dark tortie wouldn't catch on that it wasn't awkwardness, but the inability to not convey proper emotion, and instead would find a glimmer of affection in her heart, a feeling pretty much blocked out of her mind since her children, her own blood, had disappeared into the depths of her memories.

    "Yes, I can understand that. Some Clans' do lack on marking their territories properly." His laugh was obviously somewhat forced, as if he wasn't quite sure he meant it, though he did seem to relax after it. Summer, on the other hand, would try to make her own actions seem less emotionally-driven, as she'd done for Bookworm way back in her past. The she-kit had been flooded with everyone's high amount of reaction and emotion, and had latched onto Summer, who at the time, was usually quiet and calm and assertive, a dominant and relaxed figure for one who needed stability. Summy couldn't quite put a paw on why this hyena-demon reminded her so much of her beloved adoptive-daughter, but he did, and she wasn't going to be the one who ended this interaction. He intrigued her boundlessly.

    "After such a long trek, Greyscale, perhaps I could offer you a place to rest until you wish to move on? And some food?" Surely a demon of any size would have a hunger of some sort. She'd heard rumours of blood-sucking creatures, of animals who killed without remembering their own actions. She doubted he was of the latter, but maybe the myths held some truth?

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52]summerconstellations !

    Summer was used to a stutter, one of her own kittens had had one, and Bookworm herself had been characterized by her own. If Greyscale thought his stutter was bad, Sums didn't really notice all that much. Much like when you get used to the way your feet crunch in the cool sand of a quiet, nighttime beach; you nearly forget about it and focus on the other stuff. Her whiskers twitching in amusement, she would purr, "You don't need to worry about that border anymore. Follow me, I'm sure I can find you some place to recuperate."

    Turning, she would wait for the male to get up beside her and shake herself out a little bit, realizing that all she had been doing was comparing him to Bookworm. He wasn't her beloved daughter, she hardly knew him. But here she was, inviting him to stay for however long he needed in her Clan's territory without even asking Ringo if it would be okay. He could be an assassin, or like Marcus, or working with Marcus.

    But she didn't believe any of what rang through her mind. He seemed... trustworthy. And Summerconstellations liked to believe that her instincts were sharp and intelligent 98% of the time.

    // i'm alright with that. i like where this is going right now tbh.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52][b]

    [color=black][size=8]three for war, three for party. no change on the two nay-for-nows on war.

    considering the general activity of this clan, it's easy for activity to not be a problem, whether you log in once a day or week. you're fine, no harm. also, that's a pretty cool plot.

    i'll keep that in mind. atm, i'm at a standstill for plots with summer, so i'll let you know if i think anything up.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52][b]

    [color=black][size=8]i live in the southern states, i recognize everything i can. there's not enough recognition for the community here, tbh, and i'll use my lonely lil voice (or not use, lul) to speak up (or not lmao).

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52][b]

    [color=black][size=8]I didn't know about it either until later in the day either, but once i did, i took my chance.

    also, sorry about my inactivity. i couldn't find any time over the weekend, and then i have a lot of schoolwork to catch up on over the next few weeks.

    as for my lot in life, i can't complain. my family is more or less tolerant of me, and they love me regardless of their beliefs. many others have it way worse, like my cousin who is genderqueer in some way, and they can't express themselves without their family screaming at them for hours about how they didn't raise sin in them in such a way..

    i'm back now, though. i'll be making a few basic threads later tonight/tomorrow morning.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52][b]

    [color=black][size=8]awww so many trans* people here! for the longest of times, i always considered myself to be demi/ace, and non-binary in a very relaxed way. i prefer they/them but i don't mind any other pronoun, they're just words to me. now, though, i just don't label myself at all. i'm queer, and that's all i really ever tell anyone.

    my family isn't one to get up in my face about anything, but the one time they tried to tell me that being gay was a sin, i put them in their place. dragged them out to say that all gay people should go to hell and then came out to them. they haven't said a word about it since, but they don't act as if they hate me, so i guess i either didn't strike a chord or they got over themselves.

    i had to buy a binder for a close friend of mine (though it did turn out to be too small and they returned it for another one), but i'm glad you were able to, in whatever manner it came to be. i only request that you bind safely, no matter what dysphoria you may have on any given day; that always seems to be the hardest aspect of it. having to take it off after eight hours. as for your family, as much as it's a process for anyone to come out about anything about themselves if they ever choose to come out at all, it's a process for the family as well. they have to come to terms in one way or another. however, i don't defend those who don't try, or denounce their children or family in any way, no thank you.

    rambly me is rambly

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52]summerconstellations !

    Blinking as Domino approached her, and noticing the flower being attempted to be placed behind the canine's prick ears, she would lower her head helpfully and smile uncertainly. "Uhm... Thank you, Domino." Straightening, she stifled the urge to shake her head, some glimmer of warmth rising in her heart. "You don't need to fight, dear one. I'll have someone show you some self-defense moves, if that's better for you?" She watched and listened as Domino went to Mallory, and tilted her head slightly, the flower drifting past her nose. Summer sniffed at it on the ground and carefully put it into the scabbard she had attached to her left foreleg, with a silver dagger tucked safely inside. This form always had the knife attached to it, even though she had no intention of using the weapon today. The flower would remain with Summer for the time being.

    "Perhaps you are right, Domino. They do appear to be a little too eager, but for now, SkyClan needs courageous warriors. If Mallory doesn't mind, she can be my opponent." The merle dog would glance towards Ringo, the leader she'd sworn her allegiance to since returning to the Clan.

    "I hope you do not mind me calling this together. I felt as if it was necessary, with BloodClan making the move to kidnap members recently." It would sound selfish if she stated it was solely because of her own fear. She was doing this to protect the children of the Clan, such as Domino.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52]summerconstellations !

    Snorting as they spoke of her name, she shook her body out and chose the Catahoula cur, and in one second, there was a fruit bat, and in the next, with a ripple of dark fur to blue-merle and tan, Summer dipped her head to the two. She was getting much more confident with her shapeshifting around her Clanmates, whereas before she was nervous of the judgement they may have passed onto her. "I do not mind nicknames, my Clanmates call me Summer or Summy, if they wish to really get informal. And if you think my name is a mouthful, my sister's is Winterrevenant." There was a six letter difference, but first of all, Summer was dyslexic. She couldn't spell Sums if she tried hard. Second off... There was no second point, but that's besides it entirely.

    "I'll keep in mind you don't like nicknames, Anteil. Correct me if I ever slip up." She licked her teeth at the thought of hunting and turned her gaze to Mallory. "In my bat form, I can't speak at all. I only use it to fly, since my main form is... otherwise incapable of doing so. It's also very useful for inconspicuous, don't you think?" This Mallory character seemed like Summer's cup of tea, snark and sass with a good mix of good will.

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52]summerconstellations !

    quick track!

    [center][fancypost=background-color:; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 24px; color: #b1cd52]summerconstellations !

    The female would head towards her own cabin, specifically a straight shot from where they were currently. If you had wings. Which Kal didn't have, and she noticed that fact a few steps in and hesitated, and then chuckled at herself. "My bad, I was taking us a way that would only work if we could both fly. Silly me. Let's go this way, it'll lead more towards the main settlement of the Clan, but it's a shorter distance anyhow. You'll be fine if you stick close to me."

    She flicked an ear and purred gently, reminiscing on her true home. "SkyClan used to be huge, and though it isn't empty now, it used to be bursting at the seams with children and warriors, and it was peaceful, quiet even in the middle of a bustling city street. Everyone greeted everyone with a smile, more or less, and there was no strife amongst us. It was a proud and gentle Clan. Now, it's not any different, but it's more... relaxed. Nobody is expected to interact with everyone on a twenty-four seven basis. It's very good for me; after living as a loner for a while, jumping headfirst into a busy Clan, I would have drowned." She paused, hoping her talking wasn't bothering the hyena-demon behind her.

    // rushed, sorry.
