Emberfoot sat and began to groom her gray fur. Her eyes stared at Smokekit, watching him.

Smokekit watched as his mother's tail twiched slightly. His insticts told him to pounce but he forced it back. Instead, he got in a crouchand pounced.

Tawnypelt flicked her tail even harder and knocked Silverkit down.

Duskkit watched.

''If only their father could see them now.'' Tanwypelt meowed.

Frostleaf sat next to her brother, Smokenose. They sat in silence, since there was not much to talk about. A breeze slightly ruffled there fur.

Frostleaf began to groom the filth and dirt off of her pelt.

Stormleaf arose and began to stretch. He felt much better after stretching, and headed over to the fresh kill pile where he leaned down and picked up a mouse. Stormnose padded back over to his sister. "Want to share this mouse?" Stormnose asked.
Frostleaf stopped grooming and looked at her brother. "Sure."

Stormnose put down the mouse and they both began to eat the mouse.
