[justify]Firstly, have you talked to your girlfriend about your relationship with each other? How does she feel about it? You should try to explain to her how you feel about being so far away from each other. Also, if you choose to break up, be sure to express that you'll still be there for her if she needs you. I think that's the most important part.
Second, have you talked to this other girl that you like? Suggested feelings beyond friendship and closeness? If this other girl is already dating someone, or if you haven't discussed having a deeper relationship with her, more than friendship, don't jump into anything, or make any rash decisions.
Being open and honest with both these girls is the best route, in my opinion. Opening up to others is risky, yes, because you can get hurt, but it's how relationships should be: vulnerable and honest. Trust and communication is important.
