"Well well, Eater. Looks like you have a fan." Maka chuckled as she noticed the deputy had finally joined them all. Though she was still a bit tense and scared of the BloodClanners, she didn't let the opportunity to tease the tom pass. This is what she always thought he was about. Too cool for school, all sorts of animals falling at his paws. This just added to her already big stack of proof that she was right.

Her eyes had turned from her usual green to silver rather quickly, as they always did as of lately. It was something she couldn't help, thinking was her second nature, and for whatever reason, recently, her eyes had been changing color at random. She realized it may be due to emotions, as, whenever she would experience a different emotion, they would change. Yet she wondered why it chose now to start happening. Maka hadn't seen any other creature who could do such a thing, though, maybe that would explain Soul's rather usually red eyes? Bah, but who knows with that cat? Hes a mystery wrapped in an enigma for her...
Silver eyes looked around the camp, looking for, really, anything to do.
She wanted to get her mind off of thinking. It was hard for her to do. Its like what Kami said, she was born thinking. But things had been going through her mind lately, bad things. Her family, love... Those things to her were bad, they were distractions to what she really wanted. Maybe thats why shes so socially awkward. She just never been good in a conversation, and she gets nervous easily... Wanting to be by herself most of the time.... Then why exactly did she join a clan?
Damn, there she went, over thinking stuff again...
She came here to learn to be social, to have a family, to feel wanted and to know she wasn't alone in this big, scary world... To.... Love and be loved....
Everything her birth family gave her... But never felt.... Real, or big to this extent.

The tortie shook her head as she laid down on one of the flat rocks in the camp, a tan paw hanging off of the edge as she gazed across everything.
She needs to stop over complicating everything and go with the flow.........
Great, now she was starting to sound like the narcissist deputy.... Not what she wanted...

Maka lifted her head to see that while she had been in the midst of her thinking, others had grown a bit concerned for her. As silver eyes met the surrounding cats, the tortie hesitated a moment before shaking her head.
"I'm okay. I was just thinking about a few things is all. Not to worry." The femme shot them all a small smile.
[b]"It never hurts to clear your head of a few unwanted things, hm?"

[align=center]Maka had never been the best fighter. Not in attacking, defense, stamina... But speed did seem to be on her side most of the time, she would admit...
The tortie yawned, silver eyes scanning the group as she padded up to them all. Defense simulation? That was a little... Strange? She always thought a good defense was the best offense, so why not? She was looking for something to do anyway.

Well, if he wanted to make her blush, he sure succeeded... The tortie quickly looked away from the meerkat, letting out a little, "Tsk, please... Only in your dreams..." as she tried to cover her light blush over her face.
Why would she WANT to be with Soul? He was such a narcissist, and a jerk, and- and-.... And kind cute? Wait?... What?! Bah! He was just getting into her head now...
    Maka shook her head.
    [b]"Thats never gonna happen."
