[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Theodore peered up at the great, rocky expanse and sighed, dropping his gaze to his aching paws as he shivered violently. He wasn't cold, he was hot, but his body didn't seem to know that. Coughing, the black and white feline lowered himself to the ground and pressed his belly again cool rock. He didn't want to be here, on the edge of this group's territory, but his wounds - now infected and poisoning his blood - were forcing him into this. He needed help now that he no longer had anyone to rely on and he hated that.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]He stared up at her and for one moment he almost thought she was Jinora such was her likeness to the pacifist. But no - Jinora threw herself into helping others, regardless of how well she knew them or how danger the situation was. It was foolish really, but Theodore suddenly realised the importance of creatures like Jinora and this unknown snow leopard, who wanted to help him, only with more caution than his old friend.
The tom didn't speak yet, pushing himself into a sitting position as he gathered his strength. "I can walk," he rasped quietly, standing on quivering legs. They'd gotten him this far, after all, and Theodore wasn't about to climb onto some strange feline, no matter the extent of his injuries.
He too was a creature of caution.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Panic seized his heart as the rat appeared from nowhere and latched onto his throat, and Theodore shot backwards, shaking his head violently. The last time he'd had something bite his throat he'd nearly died. As if was, he'd been left with scarring and the hatred of letting anything near his throat again. The feline snorted and would attempt to hook his claws into the rat's pelt and pull him free. The movement was frantic, panicky, something Theodore didn't like to be associated with. He was cool, calm and collected, but that was only when he was in control.
He wasn't in control here and he hated it.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Theodore approached the leader, dipping his head respectfully to her and uttering his name quietly, for his was still weak from his wounds. "Theodore." They'd already met, but the tom was unsure as to whether they'd exchanged pleasantries out in the territory. All the same, it would be rude of him to stand around silently without a word out of his maw.
It was warmer in this strange meeting place, but still colder than he was used to - he'd been born in the desert, after all. The feline glanced around with a mild sort of curiosity before his gaze landed once again on the femme. "I can't remember if I thanked you," he added, "for earlier." Yes, he'd would have probably been one of those poor souls lost in the cold until death called.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Considering he had only just joined, Theodore wasn't so sure that he was allowed to do this, but whatever. The male approached in his bear form, finding it much more useful amidst the steep slopes of the mountains than his birth body, the domestic cat. "It's auto acceptance, I think," he rumbled with a dip of his head. "Welcome. I'm Theodore."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Theodore paced into the centre of camp, single ear pricked as he surveyed the area. It had been days since he'd joined and he'd since gotten better, but he hadn't gotten to know anyone; it was time to change that. "Meet and greet," the feline called, in full knowledge of the Clanwide meet and greet that he'd recently attended. He had a different plan for this meet and greet and he'd done it in the Militia when he first joined there.
"This one will be a little different though," Theodore stated to the surrounding npcs as he saw their interest pique. "I thought instead of just telling everyone our names and moving on, that perhaps we could reveal our pasts, our families, our hopes and desires."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]He didn't know anything about medicine or healing or gods ( although he didn't consider gods to be real anyway so that didn't much matter to him ) but he had overheard a few npcs talking. "Excuse me?" Theodore would call out, rather uncomfortable in that he was actually requesting help. "I was wondering if anyone could teach me medicine? Someone told me every member had to have some basic knowledge and I have none." There'd always been medics during his Clan life and luck during his rogue days and he'd had no one to teach him medicine before.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]"Pleasure," the tom rumbled, casting his mind back to his kithood where a certain Darling had torn her daughter's intestines out for joining a ProClan.
/I forgot to introduce myself, oops! xD
I'm Count or County ( whichever you prefer ) and it's a pleasure to meet you both <3
Also, Madi, I think our characters are half siblings! -

&& does anyone want a thread with Theodore? -
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]"Theodore," he corrected sharply, although a smile was quick to follow, "not Theo." He couldn't stand being called Theo - it interfered with his history for his parents had not named him Theo but Theodore.
"I'd offer to show you around," the bear added with a flourish of his paw, "but I'm pretty new too. I tend to stick to the main trails; wouldn't want to get lost or injured, you see."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Theodore had little qualms about killing something, especially something he considered to be lesser than himself, so he wasn't opposed or disgusted by the dead animals that lay about them. He was merely... disinterested. But Jinora already knew of his stance on death, didn't she?
"Jinora!" He'd called, picking his way down the icy rocks as carefully as he could. He was still weak from his journey here and that of the injuries he had sustained from an attack during the journey, but the wounds were healing thanks to the Tribe's expertise and he was finding it easier to move in this body. Hence, he'd decided to go for a walk in his birth body, rather than the bear form that was much better suited to the snowy peaks of the territory.
"Jinora, is that you?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Gosh, weren't these pasts depressing? Then again, Theodore supposed that these people wouldn't be who they were if they hadn't gone through it. "Sorry," he murmured haltingly, dipping his head in respect. "Taintedvirtue, I think I met Coppermine once. I was only a kit so I don't remember much, but he was very impressive, I'm sure." Then, finding nothing else to say on the matter, repeated his apology for his Clanmates' pasts. He wasn't too sure about revealing his own past, but if pressed would mention his father and his nomad ways passingly.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Since joining this group, Theodore was the very definition of careful. He was anxious not to upset anyone for he was getting older now and he wanted someplace to call home. He had thought the Militia was that, but after the departure of his Clanmates - even Jinora with her ideology that clashed with his so much - he had left, hoping to recreate that sense of belonging that he had once grasped in his paw.
"She's a pacifist or something," the tom added to the larger feline as he finally joined them, but his attention quickly diverted back to his old Clanmates. "What are you doing here? You're not unwell, I hope."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Theodore wouldn't be taking Rue's offer, being that he was trying to become much more neutral and less aggressive with some foresight ahead of decisions. He though that he was pretty near his target, but he wouldn't know, not until something major was thrown up. Instead, he smiled politely at the elk, although this turned to a confused frown at the rabbit's - Bakerypaw, was that her name? - suggestion. "It's human food," he started dismissively. "It's always bad for you."
"I'd appreciate that, Taintedvirtue," the feline murmured, adding a polite refusal at the other offer from Rue. "No, thank you. I don't want to learn how to kill someone with berries and leaves."
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]Theodore was awake, but barely when Rue walked in and he only noticed something amiss when what he had thought was a scarf - a stupid piece of garment, really - twitched suddenly. "What is that?" he questioned, heaving himself to his paws and padding over tensely, eyes narrowed suspiciously. Why was there a snake around Rue's neck? Had it possessed her or something?
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px;width: 450px]"Oh. Sorry." He hadn't been paying as much attention as he thought he had if he'd missed that. Glancing around, Theodore conceded that he'd find it difficult to want to explore here, but that was him and not Jinora. He'd only joined because he'd had no other choice.
"Yeah, I know." He offered a sort of awkward half-smile and curled his tail under his belly. "I thought I'd be spending the rest of my life in the Militia, but it's good here." But it wasn't the same here. It had been easier in the Militia and he'd let himself believe he was home. That had been taken from him, so here he was: hiding in the mountains with creatures he barely knew.
"Have you seen the others lately?"
