so here's the plot:your character is a guardian, on his third year of duty, guarding a royal to whichever throne you want, though it has to be one of the existing thrones. she's a spirit user, still very new to spirit, and they're recently bonded. the two are very close friends and see one another as siblings. she's staying at the academy to learn spirit, and waiting for her mentor to arrive.
one day, he stumbles across my character, arielle, a strigoi, out in the woods near the border of the wards by the academy. naturally, he tries to attack her, though finds it odd that she flee's. he follows her and finds her running to a moroi boy, erik badica, and across a newly staked ward. he panics and attempts to get the boy away, although erik continues to guard the girl. then, after a moment, a guardian named andrew comes and chasties your character for attacking arielle, introducing them.
as it turns out, arielle was previously a dhampir, a year younger than your character, but was changed by force by a strigoi. surprisingly, she mainted in control after and went on the run with erik, who she was previously bonded too. she taught herself how to fight and took over protecting erik as his guardian. she killed hundreds of strigoi over the next two years and got her own molnija marks at tattoo parlors, enough to cover her neck and most of her back. erik never had a name for his spirit, calling it simply the element, and he mastered it over the years. arielle was recenty recognized as a real guardian, though she was kept secret to almost everyone. she and erik are incredibly close and also consider one another siblings.
erik begins to teach your female about spirit and they begin to fall for each other, though erik tries to keep his distance, for reasons he refuses to tell her. meanwhile, arielle and your character begin to fall for one another, though he has a hard time accepting the fact that she's a strigoi, while they know they cannot be together.
in the roleplay, the events in the books haven't occured, the characters don't exist, and there is no cure for the strigoi yet.
is this alright with you? the series' wiki contains pretty much all of the information, but i could give you a quick summary of the moroi, strigoi, dhampir's, along with spirit if you would like? i'm o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d with the series right now!

[size=24]arielle drakos[size=8]the teacher enters and i just sort of stare, my jaw hanging open a few inches. he's hot. i mean, tall dark and handsome hot. i would probably have hooked up with him, if he wasn't my teacher. i mean, it's not like those things stop me. i've dated guys old enough to be my father. but still, i don't need to get expelled. again. last time was for spray painting the school yellow though.
then he speaks. his voice is hot; accented. i've dated guys with all sorts of accents. mexican, puerto riccan, scottish, french, canadian, southern, even boston. but never an english man. of course, the problem still stands; i can't get myself expelled again.
of course, he continues on to become a whirlwind. too much talking. it's part of the reason i was home schooled; i've never been one for talking, or being around chatty people. just my brothers, and they're all as quiet as me. well, everyone except josh. he's quiet to many people, but too me...well, he gets very loud. immediately, i rub at my wrist, bruised but hidden by my sweater and quite a bit of foundation.
when he stops, i assume i'm supposed to speak. "great pop culture reference milo, but are you on drugs? i mean, you're too happy for a teacher in sixty degree, middle-of-nowhere maine. if you are on something, let me know what though." i mumble, arms crossed. "this place is seriously depressing."
i feel my phone vibrate in my pocket just in time for like a virgin to begin blasting. damn kellar, always hacking my cell phone. i hit end, not checking to see who it is, and stuff it back in my pocket, glancing up at...milo. "you're not one of those a*sholes who confinscate phones, are you? anyways, i'm not ms. drakos, i'm arielle. ari if i like you enough. and i took astronomy last year, so i really won't be learning much."
with that, i sit back and kick my hiking boots up, resting them on the desk as i give milo a stone hard look.
