[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 440px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; font-family: georgia]Meeting thread for Shadowpaw and my loner cheetah, Screamingsirens Darling-Praelium? She used to be a member of ToMS, but left after feeling like she didn't belong there. She's six moons old at the moment, and she's the daughter of Amour Darling and Abaddus Praelium. Possible romance? Maybe they could join a clan together? :)

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 470px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; font-family: georgia]

The last moon of Screamingsirens's life had been boring, and slightly chaotic. After leaving the Tribe of Many Storms, the petite cheetah had gone to visit her mother, Amour Darling, in BloodClan. That didn't go to well--those cats are nuts, she thought, shaking her head. She'd been born and raised in an anti-clan, but she never felt that it was a place for her. She'd always known both of her parents, Amour and Abaddus, had been important people in the anti-clans, and she worried that it would cause her not to be accepted into a pro-clan.

As she passed the waterfall, Screamingsirens noted that the scent of foreign cats had begun to grow stronger, but that there was something comforting about the scent. At BloodClan, the cats smelled like blood and rotting flesh, but the scent of the felines here was much sweeter. Screamingsirens stopped, her eyes shifting left and right, attempting to find a spot to climb up higher. The waterfall seemed to cut off the clear path up the mountainside, but she knew there had to be a way to get up there. How did the other cats get up there if there wasn't a way?

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 440px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; font-family: georgia]I don't care about HPR--the only reason I mention them is because no one seems to ever want to RP with my generation 1 characters. I see threads looking for mates who say 'only HPR'. It's really ridiculous. You could have a pathetic, new HPR character and a fully, well-developed generation 1 character and it seems that everyone would pick the HPR. [I'm not saying everyone--I just see a lot of people with those kind of things]

Majorly HPR to me wouldn't be about how many relations, but who they're related to. I have Screamingsirens, who's the daughter of Abaddus Praelium and Amour Darling. I'd consider her majorly HPR because she's related directly to the families, not just by marriage or adopting.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 440px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; font-family: georgia]The ongoing romance plot would be okay because Sirens would probably be in denial about her feelings for a while. She has a fear of commitment and she'll be afraid to admit that Shadowpaw means something to her. She has a problem being loyal in relationships, but one of the plots I have in mind is for her to overcome her fear of commitment. And of course, if you're alright with her being a little flirty IC--it's just her nature.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; color: #ffffff; text-align: center;]

*clears throat* Please state your name for the record:
"Uh.. all right. My name's Searchpaw."
    {warrior name will be Searchwarrant}

How old are you? Please state your answer in moons:
"I think I'm around nine moons old. I'm not sure, though."

Are you a female or a male? Which do you identify with?:
I am a boy, and I think of myself as one, too.

Are you homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual, or other?:
"I find myself attracted to those of the opposite gender--I'm straight."

What alliance do you belong to? What position are you?:
"I live in BlizzardClan at the current moment, and I'm your average warrior."

What species are you? Do you have any other bodies?:
"I am a domestic feline, and I don't have multiple possessions."

"What do I look like, eh? Well, if you want to know the answer, you'll have to accept that I might be a little arrogant over my appearance. Don't worry, though--it's only to give you a good description. For an apprentice my age, I'm slightly larger and more muscular than the others; I'm totally built for fighting. *cough cough* I do have a little problem with gaining a little weight here and there, but I'm not fat or anything..

Glancing around at the other felines who seemed to appear out of thin air, the golden cheetah smirked. There was something about proclan cats that she had a feeling about--they always seemed very welcoming, not very suspicious about others' motives. Not that she had any bad motives with being here--she was just looking for somewhere to call home. "Oh..Um, hello," Sirens mewed, offering a hesitant smile. This could all be a trick to give me the benefit of the doubt--you never know nowadays, she thought, ears perked in alert for any signs of danger.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 470px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; font-family: georgia]

Her name? What was her name again? The presence of the few felines and the questions they were asking threw her a bit off guard, and she sturggled to get the words out of her mouth. "Er.. I'm Screaming Sirens in the Sea, or Screamingsirens... or Sirens?" she mewed, trying to decide on what to call herself. She'd been born in a tribe, abandoned her tribe name once she left, and was debating on whether keeping a clan name was a good idea or not.

"Do I want to join? That's a great question. I believe so, but I'd like to learn more about this... this clan," she said, nodding her head. Yes, that was a good answer.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; overflow: auto; height: 400px; width: 440px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; font-family: georgia]I've always wanted to make a fanclan, but I don't want to do it on my own. I'm coming up with this stuff in my head as I think, and I will be offering special animals and powers to those who decide to join!

I still need help with a name, territory, religious background, and any other ideas you can think of!

Here's what I have so far:

    [hr]

    The Council
The government and leaders of the clan. Members from the council are chosen during the time they become apprentices, and they'll be trained by council members to learn politics and relations with other clans. They'll learn minor healing and fighting, but will not be expected to fight in battle.

» Minister [the one who's in charge overall]
» Council Members [made up of two others who watch over the clan and make major decisions alongside the minister. One will be chosen to take the place of the minister if they ever resign or pass away. This information is kept in a will, and will not be shared with anyone until death.]
    » Council Members' Apprentices [semi-hp]

    [hr]

    Nonviolent Sector
Those who belong to this sector are to be trained in the ways of medicine and/or communicating with the dead. Sectors are chosen during kithood after examination by the council members. Those who are chosen to be a part of this sector either have less muscle and weaker bodies than others, a sensitive and kind heart, or a strong sense of spirituality. Others that belong to this sectors may possess psychic or special abilities.

    » Priest/Priestess [co-leader of this sector]
» Head Shaman [co-leader of this sector; this position is chosen when the head healer passes on or resigns. It is not chosen by the current head shaman, but by the council members who closely examine the abilities of the students from this sector. They're also the main healers of the clan, and they can have unofficial assistants to help them with their duties.]
» Teachers [two from the healing division, and two from the divine division that are chosen to teach the younger members of this sector about the ways of their practice. These are chosen by the Priest/Priestess and the Head Shaman, but may be demoted by the council members and leader]
» Students [cats from ages 6+ that are a part of this sector. Once a student, always a student. There's always something new to learn in the ways of medicine and preaching, from rituals to different herbs. The Head Shaman and Priest/Priestess are chosen from these students by the council.]

    [hr]

    Strength Sector
The cats that belong to this sector are either muscular, strong, hard-headed, or very determined and driven by the idea of holding power. The members of this sector are chosen from kithood by close examination by the council members. Powers that these members may have include super senses, molecule and sound wave manipulation, invisibility, etc. These cats are expected to be the army and hunting force of the clan, providing everyone in it food and safety.

» Chief of Command [leader of this sector. Usually a male chosen by the council, the chief of command is trained in the art of hunting and fighting, and is expected to watch over the training of those from his sector and carry out punishments. He'd also the head executor of prisoners and head of discipline.]
» Teachers [much like the teachers from the nonviolent sector, there are two from each of the divisions, fighting and hunting, and they're expected to teach the students everything they know about hunting and fighting. They're allowed to have their own assistants to help in their lessons, but there's no title to be given to those assistants]
» Students [cats from age 6-10 or 6-15 moons who are learning hunting or fighting]
» Warriors [cats ages 15+ moons who are trained in the art of fighting. They're expected to be members of the army in times of war and do anything and everything to protect those who are less capable of protecting themselves aka those from the nonviolent sector. They do more than fighting, though--they also patrol the grounds in search of threat or danger]
» Hunters [cats ages 10+ who are trained in the art of hunting. Their main job is to provide food for the clan and even steal prey from enemy clans during rough times.]

    [hr]

    Other Categories
» Mothers [she-cats who are nursing or raising young children. They're not expected to return to their duties until their children are six moons old. Mothers are expected to monitor their children's progress and give reports to the council members on their opinions for placement]
»» Fathers [toms who are the fathers of the kittens 0-2 moons old. They're expected to help the mother raise their children, and cannot return to their duties until their children are old enough. If the father is part of the hunting division, he's expected to continue his duties, but to only provide for his family members.]
» Elders [cats who are maimed/injured/of old age who have served their duties to the clan]

    INTRODUCTION

SpectralClan is a small fanclan that's main goal is to survive the harsh world and live with peace and harmony. Situated in a large, abandoned scout campground used that hasn't been used in more than fifty years, the clan is divided up into two sectors--the nonviolent and strength sector. Cats are chosen as kittens to become part of either sector, based upon their personalities and physical appearance.

Working in union under the careful eye of the council, the two sectors each go about with their own chores and duties, either working in the medical and spiritual group or hunting and fighting alongside their fellow clan mates. While the clan may all be situated in the same place, the temperament and overall environment of the campground is divided in half.

    TERRITORY

The clan resides in an old, abandoned campground that was used by club scouts fifty years prior to today. The left side of half is dedicated to the nonviolent sector, where the grass if plentiful and flowers cover the floor in small gardens, and the right side of camp is dedicated to the strength sector, with heavy amounts of mulch, dirt, and a bit of garbage here and there.

In the center of the camp lies a larger cabin that sits in between multiple tents where the council and minister live their lives. They watch... wip

    Background Story:

Dragonkit’s story can go back far before he was born, starting with his parents. The tuxedo’s mother and father grew up alongside each other in SunClan, long before it was an anticlan. Dragonkit’s mother, Mirabelle, was a kittypet who joined SunClan with her mother when she was barely old enough to carry herself for long distances, and Dragonkit’s father, Dangerzone, had been born and raised in SunClan with his mother, father, and four siblings. Dangerzone, then known as Dangerkit, had always been a outgoing, optimistic kitten who made the biggest attempt to befriend anyone he met, and Mirabelle had always been a little shy. There isn't really a big, elaborate story about how their relationship began--they just met each other in the nursery, befriended each other, and later became mates when they were young knights.
