Breezesong got to her paws and leaped into the air after a chaffinch. She managed to claw it, but she couldn't bring it down. Then she jumped again at another Chaffinch and caught it. She turned to Redfur and asked, "Do you want it? If not, I'll save it for the fresh-kill pile." She was overjoyed that Redfur wanted kits too. She absolutely couldn't stop thinking about finally becoming a mother!

    Shadepaw purred louder and nuzzled her cheek with his own. "You're welcome. Thanks for being there for me too." He felt happier than ever when he heard Blizzardpaw say that. He knew he had a true friend now...and eventually, one day, an affectionate, caring mate..

    Shadepaw wanted to tell her his feelings, but he didn't know if it was the right time. 'I'm don't just like her anymore...I'm in love with her..' he realized silently. He had no idea what to tell her or when, so he decided that if she wanted to say anything, he'd let her tell first. If not, he'd wait.

    Shadepaw noticed that Blizzardpaw had an uncomfortable look on her face. He looked at her, puzzled, and asked, "Is something the matter?" He didn't know quite what it was, but he had a feeling they were being watched. 'Could that be why Blizzardpaw looks so uncomfortable?' he wondered without making a sound.

    Cat's Name: Lynxpelt
    Cat's Age: 23 Moons
    Gender: She-Cat
    Alliance: SunClan
    Position: Warrior
    Appearance:
Lynxpelt is an almost-white colored she-cat with with light gray spots on her body and a little bit darker gray stripes on her legs. Her chest and underbelly are solid white. Her tail also has light gray stripes, that fade darker into a black tail tip. She has piercing, icy blue eyes. She is well-muscled, but lithe. Her muzzle is solid white and her face and head also have stripes on them. She recieved her name because she was the color of a silver-ish lynx cat, the spots representing the faint spots on a lynx kit.

Personality:
Lynxpelt isn't a very outgoing cat. She is somewhat shy and secretive, mostly keeping to herself, and not saying much at all to anyone. She is also impatient. She can't wait on one thing for very long at all. Lynxpelt also has trust issues. She is quite untrusting to everyone, as she believes you can't truly trust anyone. She tends to pick fights quite bit too. If she gets agitated enough, she'll rake her claws across a cat's ears. Lynxpelt prefers to hunt alone, and when she eats, she goes to a quiet spot in the camp. In the warriors den, she sleeps away from the other warriors. If she ever finds a loving, understanding, and affectionate mate, it may bring out the tender-heartedness deep inside her. She may also have kits one day if she finds just the right mate.
History:
-->Kitship<--

    Lynxkit was born during the end of Greenleaf. Her mother was a gray, spotted she-cat named Yellowgaze, because she had yellowish eyes. Her father was a muscular, black tom with green eyes named Blackwhisker. She was born into a litter of three. One of her siblings was a black tom with yellow eyes named Timberkit. The other was a silver, black-striped tabby named Bluekit. She was the middle-sized of the three. Bigger than Bluekit, but smaller than Timberkit. Lynxkit was always venturing off alone, and would be scolded harshly by her father to stay in the nursery, which gave her the shyness that she still has now. Her father was always paying more attention to Timberkit, and because of that, Timberkit became self-centered, not really worrying about other cats, and he was always gloating about how highly their father thought of him. Bluekit, on the other hand, was always outgoing and never listened to a word that Timberkit said. Lynxpelt and Bluekit always had a close bond. Soon, they reached the age of six moons.

    -->Apprenticeship<--

    On the night Lynxkit turned six moons old, she was given her apprentice name, Lynxpaw. Her brother was named Timberpaw and her sister Bluepaw. Lynxpaw was appointed a mentor named Blazeface. Blazeface was a mainly white tom with a dark gray tabby colored back, tail, and head. His head had a small white blaze from the nose to under the eyes, and his muzzle was also white. He was large, muscular, and very powerful. He was patient and understanding with Lynxpaw, always encouraging her. He had a sweet personality and got along well with Lynxpaw. He taught her everything he knew about being a great warrior, and all of that knowledge that Lynxpaw gained led up to one important night: her warrior naming ceremony.

    -->Warriorship<--

    A few dawns after Lynxpaw turned 11 moons, she was given a warrior name. She became known as Lynxpelt. The day after the ceremony, Lynxpelt still noticed a gleam of pride in Blazeface's eyes. Her warrior ceremony was held 2 moons ago. Sadly, Blazepelt was attacked by a band of rogues and killed while out hunting alone. When she heard of the news of his death 1 moon and a half ago, she was absolutely devastated. She still misses him dearly, but that wasn't the cause of her secretive, untrusting personality. No one knows what that is. Lynxpelt has never had a mate, never had kits, and never had an apprentice. Her father died of Greencough last leaf-bare, but her mother is still very much alive, and she sleeps in the elder's den now. Her brother was named Timberfur and her sister was named Bluegaze. Her siblings are also still alive, and they sleep with her in the warrior's den.

    "Yes, I guess so," Breezeonsg purred with amusement. She wondered if Redfur would want to talk of kits again. "Redfur, I just can't stop thinking about kits! It's something I've dreamed of my whole life. Are you sure you do, too? I don't want to have kits if you're not totally comfortable with it," she said calmly. She guessed he probably was, but she wanted to be sure. It would be such great work caring for kits for six moons, but she was up for it. Now, she hoped Redfur positively was too.

    "This is so great! I'm finally going to be a mother soon..." she exclaimed. "Well, when do we plan to have them? Whenever you feel you're ready, I'll be ready, too," she told her mate. She stood up and went over to lick his ear.

    "Sure, that sounds good," she replied. She licked her forepaws as she waited for him to lead the way. 'Maybe in about 7 dawns, we can decide when to have the kits. I'll give him some time to think,' she decided silently. Excitement was almost overpowering her, and it was all she could do to hold back a yowl of joy.

    Shadepaw noticed something was up, and he didn't want Blizzardpaw feeling uncomfortable around him. 'Is it me?' he asked himself. "No, really, what's the matter, Blizzardpaw? Something on your mind?" he asked his friend encouragingly.

    Lynxpelt stared off into the distance, scanning the horizon. The sun was just starting to rise, and she knew she'd have to be off hunting soon. She looked around the camp, hoping she could still sit alone, as she always did. Lynxpelt wasn't a very social cat, and was somewhat secretive. As she cleaned her pelt, she kept thinking about having an apprentice. 'What would it be like? Would I do a good job of it? No..' She didn't want to discourage herself, but she felt she couldn't take on an apprentice, unless one came to her. Her thoughts then turned back to hunting. She'd have to leave at sunhigh, and she was hoping she could hunt alone again..

    "Yes, it will be," Breezsong said. "So, lets start thinking of name ideas, that way they'll have names when we have them, and we don't have to keep ourselves busy thinking of any. You give me some ideas first," she said, excitement shining in her eyes again. She purred just at the thought of having kits with Redfur. She hoped it would be somewhat...not so cold when the kits were born. She didn't want to have to worry about them not being warm enough.
    Now she turned her gaze back to Redfur and pricked her ears, waiting for his reply.

    Shadepaw thought for a moment. "Blizzardpaw...maybe we should get prey for the clan first. Don't you think? I don't want to break the warrior code." He licked his forepaw and ran it over his face until he smelled something. "Blizzardpaw...do you smell that? It smells like...another cat.." he told his friend. 'Maybe that's why she looked so uncomfortable earlier...she must have been smelling it too.' he wondered silently. He lifted his head and parted his jaws again. He could still smell a cat, but he couldn't quite make out who it was.

    Not really me.... ::)

    Cat's Name: Nightsong
    Cat's Age: 25 Moons
    Gender: She-Cat
    Alliance: Blackheart Rogue
    Position: Blackheart
    Appearance:
Nightsong has jet black, medium length fur. Her eyes are a yellowish color. She has long legs and a long tail to match it. Her ears are rather small though. She is well-muscled, but not stocky, and lithe, but not scrawny. She has a sleek figure, and on the tip of her ears, she has small tufts of hair.

Personality:
Nightsong is a secretive and rather quiet cat. She doesn't get along with just anyone. She likes to pick fights and isn't the one who usually keeps the peace. She has a very short temper as well, as she can't deal with foolishness too long. Nightsong trusts a very select few cats, the ones she is closest to usually. She hopes for a mate and kits one day as well. When she isn't being quiet, she speaks when she wants to and says what she thinks is right. Nightsong is also a very confident cat, not being phased by a whole lot of things.
History:
Nightsong was born during the middle of newleaf. Her mother was a black and white she-cat named Whitetail, because of her solid white tail. Her father was a large, solid black tom with green eyes named Pantherpelt. She was born into a litter of two. Her only sibling is Snowfoot, a black she-cat with white feet. Her mother died from a rogue attack, and her father...well, no one knows. But, they think he is still around the territory, not showing himself but watching over his kits. Nightsong was the smallest kit in the litter, and her parents never thought she'd live to see her first moon, but she did. Nightsong has never had an apprentice and never had a mate or kits. She does hope that one day she can have kits of her own though.

    When she turned 6 moons, she of course, became an apprentice. She had an encouraging and understanding mentor named Frostwhisker, who was a white she-cat with blue eyes. After 3 moons of training, Nightpaw became a warrior. She earned the name Nightsong. About one moon and a half after getting her warrior name, her mother died of old age. Soon after, her father sadly was attacked by a badger and killed. SHe was devastated, and began not talking to anyone. Trust issues and shyness began to build, and that's why she is like what she's like today. Two seasons after her father's death, Snowfoot, her sister, died of Greencough. Nightsong felt she no longer had anyone, so she made a heartbreaking decision to leave the clan. She is now a loner, and roams the forests where the clans live.
