ooc: "scientifically female" XD XD

IC: "My name? Nova Lee Quasar." I said with a small smile. "Have you used the restroom yet? I should go and we can walk and talk if you want." He was very short compared to me, so I had to look down to see him.

ooc: Oh, no it's fine. I know what scientifically female means, I just thought the wording was funny. :P

IC: I tilted my head sideways at him for a moment, "Alright. I'll be back in a few minutes."

ooc: I'm just going to do a three minute time skip. :P

IC:
Once I had finished my business I went back to the room. I went over to my bed and sat down, putting my elbows on my knees.

"So, uh, Aryx. I suppose you might want to know a bit about me, so we can not be strangers. Right?"

IC:
I found it odd that he was being a bit held back, but if that's what he does I can't judge.

"So I'm Nova. I'm 16. I've been here longer than most of the other students, and I have powers over light. Your turn?" I said while leaning back against the wall. I reached for my pillow and put it behind me, then I looked back at Aryx.

IC:

"Well yeah." I said, smiling a bit. "Anything else?"

ooc: I thought Rebel left silently. XD He's just been standing there while we ignore his presence. XD

IC: I assumed he was at least 3 years younger than me, and I didn't want to push but I really wanted to know.
"It's okay if you don't want to tell me, but uh, what can you do?"

IC:
I was very confused by what he meant. "You have no power? Like I said, I can control light."

ooc: I'm so confused......

IC: "Oh. Well that makes sense. That's probably why your here! You'll learn to know, control, and master..uh...whatever it is you have. Like watch this." I decided on showing him a trick I learned that day in one of my courses. "Sp I just learned this today, so don't judge me." I then concentrated hard and clenched my hand with my fingers apart. After a minute a small smoke looking black ball appeared, and to my left a glowing, extremely bright ball appeared. "Now for the fun part." I put my hands together, and the light and dark smacked into each other and faded.
"Gosh dang it!! It didn't work! The light and dark were supposed to combine to make a mini star! It's so cool to see!"

IC: I noticed his face as he became interested. "Oh yeah. If you do it correctly like spellmaster did, then they last for like an hour, and they even follow you around. I wanna try again."

I tried the same thing as before and summoned the balls of light and dark, but this time when I put my hands together, I did it quicker so that the lights had no choice but to combine. As I did so, the balls became red, and the star was completed.
"Ah man! Yes! I did it! Second time today!" I then looked over at Aryx. "You want it?"

ooc: another spellmaster. :3

IC: "ifff you saaaaayy sooo..." I said really carrying out each letter. I then took the ball and tossed it into the air, and made it spin around slowly.

IC: I looked back over at Aryx and realized that this must be hurting his eyes. I flung my hand to the side and the star hit the wall and poofed away. "Sorry. I forgot my eyes are different to it than yours."

IC:
"Huh? What exactly do you mean?"

IC:
I thought again about every question he just asked me. "Oh. Well for starters, no, nothing here is harsh. Some things here take time and can be hard, but I feel completely comfortable and satisfied with...well, here. It's very nice here. Everyone is nice, the spellmasters I mean, and the food is the best I've ever tried. There aren't too many students that go here, so you will never feel over crowded." I then thought about for a moment what I do in a normal day..."My day is different than most of the people here. As far as I know, I am the only one who has my power. So basically, I wake up, eat breakfast, then first class, then reflection time, second session, lunch, and depending on my schedule I either walk around and talk to spellmasters, or I just hang in the library."

IC:
"It really is that simple..well. Maybe not. You are a first year so things can be really tough. Older students, not knowing your way around, and other stuff like that is really hard to deal with. Is that it?"

ooc: I honestly don't know most of these pokemon...I've been looking them all up. XD
I am a first gen kind of gal. Never got into the others. XD
BUT ERMAHGERSH. Linoones are so cute and I can totally see it mastering illusions.

IC: "I'm sorry. I don't know what to say then. Coming here must be hard I guess. I really didn't have anything, so I love it here. It must be really hard for you to leave your life behind you." I said very sympathetically.

Ic: I truly did feel bad for the guy. "I'm sorry man. Hopefully I good nights rest will be good for you, Aryx. Goodnight." I then stood up and pulled back my sheets. Once I crawled in I put out the lamp. Half the room was now dark. I just lay there, my body still facing Aryx's side of the room. My eyes were slightly closed.

ooc: OH!! I ship those two. :3

IC: Once I saw Aryx lie down I turned the other way in my bed. "Just turn off the light when you're ready." After I said this I felt the mattress beneath me, and I drifted into a peaceful sleep.
