Copper optics incandescing with a vacant light gleamed from the murky gloom of the nursery and the ebony hued wolf slowly exited, lanky frame having to partially lower itself to exit the den he had resided in for four months; it was a rather obvious sign that he was close to apprenticeship although if he thought about it he was a wolf and in the end that would lead to more drastic growth spurts. There was no way a pup as him could take on a tiger but the stygian wolf approached anyway; his copper eyes were blank as he looked up to Felix but as he did there was only a slight twitch of his ear in something that resembled shock. His face was unrevealing but the sight of a large beast was never appeasing and Doctorpup had to remind himself that death by defending was honourable. If this did escalate in a fight he would not hesitate to join in but some part of him did hope that there was a somewhat peaceful departure of Felix without any blood being shed. It was a pitiful want, but Doctorpup daren't hope for injuries.

There were many bad things that could happen to people of all kinds but even he had to admit that this was a pretty impressive feat and one that kindled nothing in his heart but a hollow rage. If the Ranger wished to look at him he could look at him close-up and this was a respectful yet challenging gesture. Maybe he could grow to develop a friendship with Shadowcraft but first he needed to know how the male acted and responded to his unusual persona; it was the main reason he lacked friends - his persona.
