To be honest, in my opinion, since we seem to be planning to use Kid's first idea plot wise when we begin the RP, all we need to establish are the groups. If I'm missing anything you guys think is important to talk about, let me know.

Before I say anything: if you haven't already, go look at the plotting thread. As of right now, there isn't a lot for you to read through, mainly just the first plan of action when it comes to the plot and the groups the characters are in as friends.

'Incoming'. Ryuko mentally warned herself to dodge her head to the left slightly as a wooden mug flew past her head crashing into the back wall of the room she was exiting. Continuing to walk forward just a bit, she gently closed the door to the Guild Master's office behind her before looking down at her guildmates below. Things have been hectic at the guild recently. The previous guild master of Fairy Tail had died not too long ago, the new guildmaster, for whom she was filling in for, was arriving today, and on top of all of that, the S-class trials were in the near future.
With a small sigh, the female began to descend the stairs leading from the second floor, where the S-class mission board and the guild master's office was located, to the first floor, where the bar and open area for everyone to roam was. A few people saw her and waved hello and then went back to what they were doing, and she did the same. Looking around for Mes, her Nature Takeover friend, Ryuko found herself having a seat at the bar as she has yet to spot her white haired companion. She turned towards the barmaid and asked her if she knew where Mes was, but she simply replied "No, I haven't seen him yet today." That left Ryuko with another small sigh. 'He needs to get here so I can talk to him about his thoughts on the new guild master that's going to be here soon.'
Ryuko did have other friends in the guild, for pete's sake, all of the people in the guild were her family! But Mes was like her best friend, and she always loved to rub it in his face that she became S-class before he did. Katsuki uses the diversion of a crowd of her fans in the street to get away from the Magic Council escorts, mumbling to herself how boring they are on insisting they must personally see her to the guild hall when she obviously knows her way. When she gets there, she decides to use the fact that she isn't known to be the guild master to her advantage, instead just deciding to mingle with the guild while waiting for her escorts to arrive sometime soon. After she notes that the guild is quite busy while preparing for the arrival of the new guild master, Katsuki then introduces herself to everyone as Katsuki Sen, the famous and highly acclaimed author, and asks if it is possible to get a drink (tea, because she can't handle her alcohol) in exchange for answering any questions about her works. During this time, Katsuki decides to learn what she can about the guild. She brings up the topic of the guild masters death rather abruptly, curious to see what they know about the matter. Someone tells her that the guild master was terminally ill and died from his sickness shortly after diagnosis. When Katsuki remarks that it's an anticlimactic way to die, Ryuko (maybe?) gets aggressive/defensive over her previous masters honor. It is then, just as she was about to fight Katsuki, that the magic council members arrive and deliver the news before things get out of hand.

The quiet and disheveled woman that had entered the guild quickly gained Ryuko's attention. As the unknown woman sat down beside her, Ryuko was considering why she would be in the guild hall. 'Joining the guild?' was one idea she had in mind. Before she got the chance to ask, she heard the female speak. Being polite but still wary of her reason for being here, the requip mage replied. "Yes. There's a lot going on in the guild. By the way, how did you know that we have a new guild master coming?" Continuing before she got an answer, Ryuko said "Well, I guess most of Fiore would know by now seeing as news travels fast and secrets are hard to keep in the magic community." Slowly reaching her hand towards the visitor, whose body language seems to be expecting recognition, the blue haired female shook the other's hand and properly introduced herself. "I'm Ryuko Matoi, the stand in guild master until the new one arrives later today with the magic council. What is your name?"
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Nyx approaching the bar and putting on her headphones. Ryuko made sure to smile and direct a small wave at her friend before she had sat down before turning back for an answer to her question. After she had heard the woman state her name, Mes caught her off guard. "Mes! I was looking for you!" She exclaimed, turning her attention away from the new person once again. "Were you training? I know the exams are coming up, but you'll never surpass me, seeing as I became S-class first." Ryuko teased with a smirk plastered across her face. "Anyways, I've talked to almost everyone else about their thoughts on having a new guild master and I need to know your take on it too." She paused for a moment, reminiscing about the guild's times with the previous guild master, who was loved by them all. Unknowingly getting a bit choked up, Ryuko continued, speaking softer this time. "I mean, we're all taking the situation differently and I don't think we're ready for someone new to just show up."
'I need to stop talking. I can't break down right now in front of everyone. Especially the guest.' Ryuko thought. 'THE GUEST!' Quickly sitting up and regaining her composure, the female turned to Katsuki and apologized for her actions. -

Ryuko took in a sharp breath when Katsuki had said just one word. "Pathetic". Maybe the woman was talking about something else? Ryuko decided to wait and see what else would be said. As words kept spilling out of Katsuki's mouth, Ryuko realized that that was a bad idea. How dare she come in here and insult their guild master, no, their father's honor?! Still seething, Ryuko angrily replied through grit teeth, "You have no right to come into this guild and belittle Master Daxus. Anyone can easily die from an illness, but he fought hard like he does in every situation. He is the most powerful person I know, so how dare you come in here, spouting nonsense about him being pathetic!"
The more she spoke, the more upset Ryuko was getting. It was only when a shoe hit Katsuki in the face when the female decided that this woman had what was coming to her. Not even sparing a second thought, the stand-in guild master stood up, walked a few steps forward and requipped into her strongest armor. "Requip: Jin i itai! Kamui Senketsu!" Her scissor blade also appearing, Ryuko turned back around and lunged towards Katsuki.
"You'll regret ever setting foot in this guild! You know nothing about Master Daxus and you know nothing about how much of a warrior he was!" Ryuko yelled. With this, she swung her blade, purposely just missing Katsuki's head, slicing clean through the bar behind her. It didn't take long for Ryuko to be blinded by her anger and despair, her emotions being launched onto the unfamiliar woman.

OOC: I see replies to my posts and I go "I know exactly what I'm going to write!" and then when I get to it, it doesn't turn out as good as I thought it would be. T-T
For a split second, Ryuko saw Katsuki beginning to form something with magic before suddenly grabbing the giant scissor coming towards her, causing Ryuko's eyes to widen and her breath to hitch slightly. Between staring at the woman's bleeding hand and 2 members of the Magic Council coming in and yelling for a cease fire, the bluette heard Katsuki say something about Master Daxus being an uncle. That is, if she heard correctly. Who is this woman exactly?
"Have you any pride in yourselves? Show some respect towards your new guild master!" A voice interrupted her thoughts. Still in a stance that was ready to attack an enemy, Ryuko stiffened and stood upright when she heard Nyx cautiously approach her before asking if 'everything was alright'. Slowly looking around the guild hall, Ryuko saw the faces of her family staring at the scene in front of them, some in shock and some in confusion, as if they hadn't heard anything. She knew that a majority of the guild had heard her outburst clearly, but it seems that others hadn't and all they knew is that the new guild master has arrived.
Very hastily, the requip mage had changed back into her regular attire, keeping her scissor blade at her side. She turned her head towards Nyx before muttering "I don't know. The new master is here, ask her." and looking down at the floor of the guild, many more thoughts and questions invading her mind.
'Why would she insult Master Daxus like that if he was her family?', 'What was that magic she was performing?', 'I attacked the new guild master', 'When was she going to tell us?', 'I must seem like a horrible person now, lashing out at her that quickly', 'What if....' were all the sorts of things circling in her head as she looked at the floor, her bangs covering her eyes so they were not visible.
Honestly, Ryuko found the fact that Katsuki would belittle her family that easily more surprising than the fact that she is the new guild master, who no one had suspected. The idea just pissed her off. 'I don't know if she had a reason for it, you don't dishonor your family like that.'
Without another word, Ryuko slowly made her way back up to the guild master's office, closing the door behind her so that she would be left with her thoughts. She really couldn't look at anyone, mainly Katsuki right now.

IC: Ryuko didn't have to look up to see who came into the room behind her. For a few moments, she just quietly listened to Katsuki as she sat at the desk that she felt didn't belong to anyone here, including herself.
As she was sitting silent and looking down at the desk, Ryuko was reminded by a copy of a job request that specifically asked for Nyx, that said mage would be leaving for a far away mission right about now. So really quickly, after Katsuki had just finished speaking, the female cupped her mouth and yelled, knowing that she would be heard. "Bye Nyx! Please be safe!" Ryuko didn't have to look at the other woman in the room to know that she was thinking one of two things: 'she's annoying' or '...what?"
Sitting back down, Ryuko sighed as she finally decided to gaze her eyes on the only other person in the room with her. "He talked about me?" she asked, wondering about the things he had said. "That's another thing," the bluette continued, "Where were you all of this time? He never told us anything about you specifically like your name, but he always mentioned how much you meant to him and how he missed talking to you. So where were you and why?"
As soon as she asks this, Ryuko reruns over everything that has just happened. Magic Bow Construction, Magic Absorption
>Magic Information:
- The ability to construct a magical bow can only be achieved after absorbing some amount of magical energy.
-Mana is stored in small bottles that are kept at all times around the waist held in a belt. The user consumes the contents in the bottle, allowing a small amount of magic energy to be absorbed. This small amount of energy gives the user just enough to be able to make a weaker bow, which allows them to get closer to an enemy.
-Once the user touches the enemy, they are able to absorb half of their magic power (the max amount that can be absorbed) if in contact for 3 seconds, allowing for higher strength bows to be made.
>Bow Types:
- Standard Bow and Arrow: the weakest type of bow and arrow that can be summoned/created, uses the amount of magical energy stored in one of the bottles kept by the user.
- Fire Bow
- Triple arrow bow
- Poison Bow
- Homing Arrows
- Electric Bow
- Bomb Bow
- Combined types (uses 75% of magical energy)
>Strengths:
Seeing as how Jayma needs to be able to quickly and quietly get close to an enemy, she is a fast runner. Additionally, she is skilled at long distance attacks, able to successfully shoot a target from .5 mile away.
>Weaknesses:
Sometimes Jayma underestimates her magical ability compared to the other wizards in the guild who are younger and have higher ranks and abilities than she does. This sometimes is apparent during battles, especially if she is working with those younger mages. Like a lot of Fairy Tail mages, she also tends to overdo things, creating destruction and the occasional chaos.
>Fears:
- Not being seen as a viable mage compared to others around her
- Losing any of her family and friends
- Spiders.
>Other:
- There are times when Jayma can be childish, especially around her close friends while others, especially when she is angry, she acts mildly insane. -
If you'd like, I can take off some of the types of bows that she has and maybe she can earn them later.

I'm very for an assessment before the s-class trials. In a previous thread, we immediately started the trials and no one was used to each other's magic just yet. I think it would be nice to have everyone on the same page instead of doing different things that would lead to our confusion and I'm excited to see what will happen between everyone on that assessment mission.
