Bobbing up and down in the water, she said, "That's good." with a smile. "Ive never taught someone how to draw before, so in a way, it was a learning experience for me too." After that remark, the girl said to the boy, "If you don't have anything else to do, you can join me if you want." She had never gone swimming with a friend before and she thought that the boy needed something to do.

Ooc: lol I only suggest it. So whats happening is that the characters so far are starting to know each other and become friends so that they can prevent a war from happening between all of the elements.
-
Laughing, Violet explained that he would get used to it in no time. Starting to do handstands, Violet, remembered seeing Ashley walk by the screen door to the barn. Shes most likely looking for officers. she thought to herself. Coming up, she asked Jake if he had any ideas for games to play.
-
"okay. Lets do the breath holding contest." Submerging, she opened her eyes under water to see if the boy was cheating or not. After a few seconds she had to come up for air. "Id expect that from a person who has spent a long time in the ocean." Quickly getting out of the water, she started running and made a cannonball into the pool. She loved jumping in for some reason.
-
Coming up from the water, Violet started laughing. She easily got amused by the bubbles that came from when she jumped in. "Jump in!" she yelled to Jake. "How big of a splash can you make?" she asked, her hair soaked from a midnight black to an even darker shade.
-
Now splashed in the face, Violet started laughing again. Diving under the water, moving gracefully, Violet swam in laps then got out. Grabbing her clothes, she put them on and when she did, she noticed Ashley at the top of the barn staring at them. "Your sister confuses me. Do you know why she is staring at us?" she asked Jake.
-
"Oh. Well I'm getting kind of hungry." She stated, walking inside. Grabbing a granola bar, she sat down on the couch and started eating.
-
"Uuhh ok." she answered as she walked to Jakes room. "Could you play a song on the violin for me? I don't care what song." she asked with a small smile.
-
As he played, Violet recognized his musical genius. When he was done, she was speechless. She had never heard such amazing music being played. "You're amazing." Violet stuttered to the boy. She then told him to continue playing and she sang along.
-
After she had stopped singing, Violet sat down. "So.......what now?" the two always seemed to lack topics of conversation.
-
"Like I told your sister, this was my house when I was little." Violet said shakily. "I never wanted to leave from here to the other house I was in, but I was forced. I had so many good memories here, so I decided that before I left, that I would make a time capsule, the thing that I got when we got here." That was when she started crying. "I-it reminds me of my parents but I also love being here. It makes me feel safe." Violet, a person who didn't cry a lot, started sobbing at that moment.
-
"Thanks" she said, hugging him back. She dug her head into his shoulder continuing to cry. She felt warm and she actually had someone who cared about her.
-
Looking up at the boy, Violet said "Im sorry." she hugged the boy once more, then she got up and went to her room for a nap.
-
While she was laying down, she couldn't fall asleep. She started drawing. Jakes hug was warm and caring. She got up not only for a nap that she couldn't have, but she didn't want to seem like a cry baby.
She began drawing herself with her parents. The drawing was helping her in a way yet hurting her more.
-
Walking back out to the living room Violet wiped her tears and stated, "I cant nap. So now what?" it was getting dark and it wasn't safe to go out at night during the rebellion. Sitting down on the couch, Violet went quiet. She just listened to the two talk with the radio.
-
At the thought of leaving her home once more, Violet got up and said, "I cant. Im not leaving here again. And Im not getting myself or you guys killed either by ourselves or the officers." She then told them that she agreed with the shifts, but they had to have a plan about where to stay, which she didn't want to leave. She looked at Jake, waiting for his answer, worried about what he would say.
-
"That sounds good to me." Violet replied, smiling at Jake. Sitting back down again, she waited for Ashleys answer now.
-
"Okay. Oh, and thanks again for dealing with my emotions. You're a really awesome guy, Jake." Violet said, going to her room.
In bed, she couldn't sleep because she kept thinking about how Jake had actually comforted her when she needed it. She had never met such a nice guy, other than her family members of course. With those thoughts out of the way, she slowly drifted off into a sleep, preparing herself for her shift.
-
Waking up, Violet grabbed her katanas and went out to the barn. "Hey, you can go sleep now." she called up to Ashley. "I don't think theyre coming any time soon though." Climbing up to the roof of the barn, Violet thought about that day. She absolutely hated crying in front of people. It showed her weaknesses and made her seem like a soft person, which she was just barely.
It was around 1:00 am when she saw 3 officers. She ran as fast as she could into the house and burst into the two rooms exclaiming "There are 3 armed officers outside! 4 o clock from the barn!"
-
"Thanks for saving my ass when two of them practically had me." Violet told Jake after he sassed his sister. "Sorry for waking you guys up so sudden also, I could probably take them all, but I was half asleep, so....." Turning to Ashley, she added, "I guess you aren't a morning person huh?"
