"Well I did three border patrols and a hunting patrol with Dawncloud today. Every cat deserves a rest every now and then." Moonshade meowed while licking his fur, Dawncloud nodded in agreement.

"Moonshade!" Dawncloud cried when she sat Pumasoul's predicament. "What is it?" Moonshade grunted from under a ShadowClan she-cat. Dawncloud clawed at the cat distracting her giving Moonshade enough time to use his hind legs to send the she cat flying. "Pumasoul's in trouble, we have to help her! She's being cornered by two ShadowClan cats!" They both made their way over to Pumasoul and jumped on each of the cats backs, clawing them with their hind claws. Both of the cats under them wriggled free and ran off. "Pumasoul are you alright?" Dawncloud quickly asked.

"Where are all these cats coming from? It's like there's no end to them!" Dawncloud growled before yelping in pain. She turned and saw a apprentice latching into her tail, she didn't want to hurt the apprentice seriously so she batted him off her tail and pinned him down. She let him squirm for a moment before giving him a scratch and let him run off. She had seen the tom racing towards her and braced herself when out of nowhere Crystalclaw slammed into the cat and out the camp. "Crystalclaw!" she shouted as she raced out to the forest. 'His injuries are already terrible, he could be in serious danger!' Dawncloud thought as she ran. When she reached the river she found Pumasoul with Crystalclaw, so she grabbed a couple cobwebs off a tree, "How is he?" she quickly asked as she pressed the cobwebs to his wounds.

She quickly examined him and came to a grim conclusion. "Gash down his face. A broken rib. A long gash down his side. A long cut above his eye. A ton of slashes down this other side of his body. And looks like a couple torn pads. He's in a terrible condition." Dawncloud meowed, "First the gorge and now this, he's pushing himself too far."

"Then what gives you the right to do anything you want? It's not my fault you have no life, and how would you know respect? I respect cats, just not you! You don't get what you don't give, you selfish piece of fox dung! Man, I feel sorry for any kits you have, they'll have a mistreating kit father!" Morningkit snarled after Lightningpaw as he walked out the camp with Foxtuft. She whipped around and stalked into the nursery, more angry than ever before. She paced in the den and once meowed to Tigerlily "Tigerlily, I don't know why or how you chose Lightningpaw as your amazing mate," she sarcastically said that word, "but all I can tell you is that you made the most terrible mistake that you could make in your life." Sunkit padded into the nursery and found her sister as angry as a mad viper. "What's wrong Morningkit?" she asked. "What's wrong?! Oh, I'll tell you what's wrong! That piece of fox dung known as Lightningpaw who doesn't deserve to be in ThunderClan!" she repeated the entire conversation to Sunkit, all the while Sunkit's eyes grower wider and wider. "How could he do that?" Sunkit cried after Morningkit finished, "Exactly! So listen I need you to help me with something..." Morningkit whispered her plan to Sunkit, who was nodding every now and then. "Will do!" Sunkit meowed once Morningkit finished.

"Think about yourself for once, anyways with these serious injuries you can't go anywhere yet. Pumasoul can you get a lot of cobwebs? The first thing we need to do is stop this heavy bleeding." Dawncloud meowed.

"So what should we play?" Morningkit asked.

Dawncloud heard the kit and gave a small smile, she was glad that she was a fast runner because they were almost to the camp. And by the looks of it Waterkit didn't look like he could last much longer.

"I'll go with you Echosong." Dawncloud meowed as she followed Echosong.

"Thanks." Dawncloud mewed as she took the cobwebs. She removed the already bloodied up cobwebs and replaced them with the new ones, "We have to somehow get him back to camp."

Dawncloud dashed into the medicine cat den with Waterkit barely breathing. "Snowflurry! Help!" Dawncloud cried around the fur in her mouth.

IC: Dawncloud dashed into the camp with Waterkit, heading straight for Snowflurry's den.

"Great job Echosong, since you caught them you pick first." Moonshade meowed, Dawncloud again, nodded in agreement.

"Of course." Moonshade meowed as he tried to help Whitehawk up.

Dawncloud blinked in surprise after Crystalclaw for a moment before looking back after Pumasoul. Suddenly she became very angry. "Of course we can see that!" she snarled back after him, "The problem here is that you can't see is that we're trying to help you too! Keep going like this and you'll die! We're trying our best to prevent that but that's already nearly happened twice!" Tears formed in her eyes, she closed them and tried to shake them away, "Why can't you understand? You're just driving away your friends!" Dawncloud spun around and ran after Pumasoul, "Pumasoul!" she called.

Dawncloud nudged Moonshade forward, "You eat the rabbit, you haven't eaten anything since this morning. I already ate something before I came here." she meowed pushing forward even more. "Okay Dawncloud, if you're sure..." "Of course I am." she said as she started to eat the vole.

"Pumasoul, please!" Dawncloud cried, she pushed herself to run even faster.

Moonshade hesitated at first but took a bite nonetheless.

Dawncloud slowed to a stop and listened to Crystalclaw's apology. After he left she turned to Pumasoul. "Pumasoul, why did you run? You know that he probably didn't mean that earlier, some cats just say things like that when they're angry and we just heard him apologize."

After a couple bites Moonshade noticed that Echosong wasn't eating, but was watching him. "Is something wrong Echosong? You're staring at me."
