"Well, I moved here a while back with my father when I was about 5 turning 6. It was some time ago and I've adjusted a bit." he said after shaking, now coiling his hands around the mug and taking a short sip before putting it down. He fixed his glasses again. I should probably get a new pair. He thought , now realizing how much he'd been adjusting them. It seemed like every five minutes for him.
"Actually, I think I've tried their mocha once...sometime ago Aiyuu- Is it okay if I call you Ai-chan for s-short?" If and only if he thought names were too long for him to handle, he would sometimes shorten them to make it easier, since you only meet so many people in your lifetime. Nicknames were fun anyways. Maybe he'll make one for Kuki too. He was pretty good at coming up with things that helped him progress in whatever he had trouble with. This case would be a little social anxiety.

OOC: I AM UP FOR THIS APOCALYPTIC CRAZY IDEA OF SICKNESS -super late reply because I slept early and I was tired from school-
-
OOC: Otoro shall get sick first while Yokashi will experience symptoms.
-
Otoro looked at the ghoul then back at her book. She started to stand up and put her book away.
"Well actually," she put her bag over her shoulder. "that's alright. To answer your question, no. I currently do not have a house. I have never had a house for as long as my brain can try to remember. Do you suggest a place for homeless helpless ghouls such as me?" She wasn't trying that hard to be sassy but she didn't really care anyways. "But before that, I don't think it's that far anyways... The shop"
Otoro stretched. She really wanted to get there as soon as possible before she started to wreak a little havoc. The 20th was a bit boring now that she thought about it. Not too many people died. Not too many people were caught (one day she might be but she didn't want to think about it). Sure it was peaceful, but something had to happen every once in a while right?
"It could probably take about a 20-30 minute walk I would think." She shouldered her backpack strap. "And don't be that afraid to walk in," she gestured towards the entire alleyway she was in. "I only get mad when it's someone who walks in without a word of 'Hello I would like to pass' or 'Sorry for intruding'. I mean could that be a little too much to ask? Sounds silly I know, but I've set specific standards for certain things. Call it a test." -
He put his finger to his chin. "Well yeah you could say that I am. Just haven't come to this place that often. I'm always on that side of town" he turned around in his chair and pointed outside more to the right. Looking outside, he had just noticed how dark it was. Definitely darker than when he came in. How long were they here? An hour?
He turned back into his seat. If they really were here for that period of time...his work had paid off. He was actually doing pretty well.
"So uh, how long have you guys been in Tokyo? Also, what kind of jobs do you guys do...If you've been here long enough to get a place of work." now he was having more confidence for as long as the conversation was going to last.OOC: Wait how far does this time have to skip, dance, and twirl around on this hopscotch called role play thread.
-
OOC: Hmm...Then that means we must wrap some stuff up then before is morn.

-
OOC: WAIT. StarOwl, Otaku, and I didn't finish or thing yet!
-
//field egg, do you just want tone skip? Or we can rp the whole thing, fine by me either way.
Aiyuuka will get sick after they return. I had mentioned on of their friends had gotten sick before, so this is convenient.I guess we just skip to morning then.

OOC: Back finally
Otoro suddenly awoke from her deep sleep, nearly hitting her head against the wall she was leaning on. Waking up so suddenly always made her think that one day she would have a big headache. She was not a fan of headaches whatsoever. She yawned, it was a new day. Two days she had been spending in Tokyo's 20th. She was still alive. She had eaten. She was good.
Otoro stood and stretched, first her arms, then her legs. Picking up her backpack and putting it on, she started walking out of her alleyway. She thought of getting some new materials and supplies to help herself to. She hadn't had a proper drink of water since she left. What was the nearest place to get a drink...Anteiku? That little mall across the corner? A fountain somewhere? It didn't matter. Otoro decided to make her mind up when she got closer to the locations.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yokashi, already out of bed and dressed warmly, prepared for the day in the following steps:
1. Get favorite cereal (since he was too lazy to make anything else)
2. Nearly drop contents of favorite cereal
3. Pour milk
4. Eat
5. Choke on cereal and stop eating. Resume when done. Leave.
This was literally his morning routine when he knew he was going to school. Disappointed him to a certain level but he had to bear with it. He grabbed his backpack and walked out of the door, greeted by the cold winter air.
He walked down the apartment steps and went down the street, wondering what work he would be handed today. -
Yokashi walked around the corner headed down the street, his high school just 4 blocks away. He pulled his scarf up and adjusted his hat so he wouldn't freeze. Yokashi in winter times, always got cold no matter what temperature. He didn't enjoy that quality of him at all.
As he took a couple of strides towards the intersection, he saw a girl. He stopped in his tracks, his heart pounding. He observed her features. She had short bright red hair, almost standing out in a couple of knots, her clothes were messy, and she wore combat boots. He thought about her for a moment. Did he know her? HE felt like he did. But where? Why did he revert to a panicky mood anyways? Yokashi thought of calling out to clear his information but decided not to. He had to go around her or something. Then that's when he saw her movements, telling him that she had noticed him being there...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting to the intersection, she narrowed down the places that she really wanted to go to start the day off. She decided to just bounce between each shop before settling. As she was about to start walking, she stopped. Sniffing the air she smelled the same smell she found the other day. The one that confused her nose so weirdly that she hated it. Otoro placed her hand over her nose and turned around, following where it came the strongest. There was a boy standing there, about her age. He was wrapped up in winter clothing but she can see little tufts of brown hair that he probably didn't notice. Scrawny as well and his glasses were a bit fogged up. Did she know him? There was no way she could. She had to get out of here before her senses faded away at the second. Human? Ghoul? Both?? Confusion...she ran the other way and headed to the left. Her goal now was to smell anything other than him. She entered the coffee shop. -
She ran in and slammed the counter, accidentally and loudly. She wasn't in that urgent emergency but it was driving her crazy "I need a drink like, right now." she headed to the nearest empty seat and put her head on the table. Leave the smell that haunts my nose, leave the smell that haunts my nose, leave the smell that haunts my nose. How could she get rid of this? She pinched her nose and tried smelling in the air of Anteiku, heavy with coffee beans and some human food. She sighed and put her head on the table, her hair tickling her ears. That was terrifyingly weird what that boy did. How though?
There's something very off about him. Very very off. Yeah she was going a little crazy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yokashi, processing the situation and event that just occurred. He took a short whiff of his arm. Did he really smell that much that he chased a girl away? Now he really messed up. He probably didn't get a memo for a guy to smell nicer than whatever she smelled. Yokashi thought of following and apologizing to her for whatever he just did. He walked to the intersection and looked in the direction that she went. All that was there was the coffee shop and some other places he hadn't visited yet. He wasn't exactly ready for another social hour...plus he had to go to school in the morning. Like normal 14-year old teenagers like him would go.
He gave a deep sigh and stared at the door, as if she was going to come out any minute like a random apology or something. All he knew was she was a bit weird, which interested him a bit. -
OOC: I need a brief recap please
-
OOC: Gasp! Okay. When I have more time I'll respond later today.
-
Finally freaking back...WHY DOES SCHOOL HAVE TO LAST 7+ HOURS???
-
Yokashi, now bewildered by the encounter from the girl who had run away holding her nose, pulled out his phone to contact Ai. He opened up the message window but twiddled his thumbs into a tiny exercise regimen, wondering if it was really the right thing to talk to her in the morning about what had just happened. Since he didn't have that many people to talk to, he would talk to Ai or Kuki whenever he could (but of course not so much that he would turn annoying...he knew boundaries pretty well).
He started to text his sentence when he realized the time in the upper left corner. He screwed up. Yokashi ended up being distracted by people around him that he had to enter class tardy. He had never entered class tardy. He really hoped there wasn't any brutal punishment when it came to being tardy. Suddenly he felt this odd feeling in his stomach, upper abdomen.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Otoro, after receiving her coffee, lifted her head up and noticed the two Doves that had previously entered the shop. she hadn't noticed them right away because of her nose still recovering. They had been in deep conversation before but it sounded like they were having deep suspicions that there weren't just humans who came to Anteiku. She held her head low, trying not to be noticed by them. They shouldn't know who she was since she was a bit popular in the 4th. Looking around, she noticed the two ghouls who were having that little theater act-natural kind of play were having a mini disagreement on things. She returned her eyes towards her coffee and began to take a sip.OOC: One more thing
What were the symptoms of the virus thing for humans and ghouls? -
;-;
I had to go to after school things -cries-
