"Yup" Vix would agree, with a nod of her head, before continuing the conversation. "So, whats it like to be a warrior?" Vix would inquire, her head tilted, and voice curious. She knew that one day she would be a warrior, and she wanted to be the best warrior she could possibly be, so she wanted to know about what her future role would be like.[/size]

"Oh, okay" Vix said eyes narrowing in thought, before suddenly jumping to her paws, a mischievous half-smile playing across her maw. "Leafstorm... I challenge thee to a duel." The apprentice would grin, tail twitching about with excitement, seeing as there was nothing to do now she figured she should continue working on her battle-training.

Vix would back away from the warrior, leaving a small distance between the two, before turning and counting down. "3...2...1... Let the duel commence!" The apprentice would call; bracing herself. She had decided to let Leafstorm make the first move, while she devised a plan.

Vix, confused by the warriors move, would look drop to the ground; keeping her vulnerable belly safe from any attacks targeted at the belly area.

The force behind the head butt was powerful enough to knock the apprentice over, flipping her onto her side, and leaving her dazed for a heartbeat. However she'd quickly recover, scrambling to her paws and whipping around to face the warrior who was just turning. Quickly dashing forwards, the apprentice would skid to a halt under the warrior, timing her movements with precision, before rolling out of the way just as the warrior landed. She would jump back to her paws without hesitation, and kick out with her back legs, targeting Leafstorm's flank in hopes of knocking her over, or -at the very least- to knock the air out of her.

Vix would dash at the warrior again, but instead of skidding to a halt she would dive under Leafstorm, swiftly rolling onto her back before reappearing behind the warrior. She would attempt to deliver a bunny kick to the warriors hind legs, before rolling back onto her paws and spinning to face Leafstorm, unsure if her move had any effect.

Noting that the warrior seemed unsteady Vix would attempt to perform another back kick; but as she lifted her hind legs off the ground, her fore legs would buckle- causing the apprentice to somersault fowards. Her muzzle was first to slam into the ground, followed a few seconds later by her rear, leaving her belly exposed, as she lay stunned by the sudden impact.

"I agree" Vix would say, rolling over onto her paws prior to sitting up. "You still up to fight?" The apprentice would question sheepishly, embarrassed at her 'graceful' somersault.[/size]

"Apart from a few scratches, I'd say i'm fine" Vixen would assure, an smile playing across her maw. She wasn't being entirely truthful, as her muzzle was stinging from being slammed into the ground, but she quickly dismissed it.[/size]

"Thanks" Vix would grin, imitating Leafstorm, as she waited for the warrior to make a move. [/size]

"Y'know you're a lady too?" Vix teased, as she playfully pounced at Leafstorm, not taking it as seriously as she had done when they first fought.[/size]

Vix would turn to face Leafstorm, eyes narrowed as she decided on a move. After pausing momentarily, she would race towards the warrior, and once within range she would push herself off the ground and aim to land on the warriors back.

Landing on the floor, Vix would quickly recover and after scrambling to her paws she would attempt to knock Leafstorms hind legs out from under her.[/size]

Vix would feel the paw hit her, and would quickly retaliate by attempting to cuff Leafstorms ear.[/size]

Vix would take this as a opportunity to dart forward, and once again attempt to land on Leafstorm's back.[/size]

Vix had prepared for this, and was using her fore legs to cling on to Leafstorm's neck. However, the jump caused her to lose her grip, and she slid off once more, landing on her back and knocking the air out of her.[/size]

Vix would grin back, tail gently flicking about in the dust as she opened her mouth to speak; "I suppose you win, but just know i was going easy on ya" she then teased, winking at the warrior.[/size]

Pushing herself to her paws with a chuckle, Vix would turn to face Leafstorm. "Really? I though you'd have more fun as an warrior then a apprentice" she'd say with her head tilted, her tone plastered with confusion and disbelief.

"Ah" Vix would nod. allowing to conservation to momentarily fall into silence as she looked thoughtful. "So that means when I'm a warrior, i cant have fun or mess about with my friends?" The apprentice would ask, taking on a distressed look.[/size]
