Reign put her head back in the trailer stall and continued to eat her hay and drink her water.Some of her quiet munching could be heard in the other stalls.

She looked towards Jet."I suppose you must be Jet.Some of the other loners speak of you.They say you are strong but you don't let that give you too much pride."She dipped her head."It's an honor to meet you sir."

Reign stuck her head back out the window as they pulled in the parking lot to the show.Calypso led Midnight out first,then Hailey led Dream out,then Aislinn led Reign out.They groomed them one last time and finished tacking them up.They mounted and went to the warm up ring,jumping over 2 ft jumps to warm up while they waited.They had a one hour wait so they had plenty of time.It was also an Arabic based show so they all had different tack than usual on.

Rianne turned to look at the male in the doorway."These two helped me with a beartrap I had on my foot."She said and introduced herself to him."My name's Rianne."Her strangely blue eyes seemed to glow in the light of the medicine cave and the sun reflected off of her brown grey and white mixed fur.

Reign held her head high and extended her body as she lept and soared over the jumps.Reign was used to this type of tack because she had been to many kinds of cultural shows before.The next cultural show they would be going to would be an Indian show and they would all be painted with feathers stuck in their manes and more than likely it would be bareback and bridleless with no jumping in the show since that would be dangerous although most of the horses and people at the stables could jump without the saddle and bridle.Sometimes we rode with blankets in place of the saddles.She continued to jump the jumps and practice her hip hop dressage.She was competing in every class and she was glad she was fit and ready.

One of the other horses from our stables with a rider named Cassandra skidded to a halt right before a double oxer and threw Cassandra on the other side of the jump.Aislinn gasped and lept off of Reign and ran to Cassandra's side while another rider came and held her horse.Cassandra was holding her arm close to her body and when Aislinn went to look at it,it was all bloody.Reign flattened her ears to her head and motioned to Dream and Midnight to come as soon as their riders got off.Reign angrily trotted over to the horse named Rafeal and headbutted him in the shoulder.He wasn't aware his lead mare was watching when it happened and he flattened his ears to his head in a submission gesture but Reign was still fuming."What were you thinking?!"She snorted and he said,"It's a double oxer.Everyone is afraid of them."Reign neighed out angrily."You could have shied away from it more gentle than you did!You threw her completely over the jump!I've seen you jump a double oxer before.You are perfectly capable of it!"

She chuckled when she saw the twigs and leaves in his fur and lifted her paw,plucking one of the twigs out."Fall down a hill or something?"She joked before sitting back down in her previous spot.
