Larkkit said nothing to Zacharie and turned towards the stockage of herbs, taking a moment to let his eyes navigate and remember where the poppy seeds were kept. There so many different kinds of herbs and so many that looked similar to one another than it was quite hard for the tuxedo to recall what went where. He was sure he'd grow out of that phase, but for now it was evident that he would need some reminding again and again. He whispered to himself, blue eyes trailing there to there, spotting and admiring the scented flowers and occasional dried herbal leaf.

Larkkit felt himself smile slightly as he spotted the tinily round, seed-like herbs known commonly as poppy seeds. The tuxedo whipped over quickly, trying to place as little pressure as possible on his one sprained paw as he limped forward, eyeing the little black spheres. Larkkit awkwardly bent down and used his tongue to lap up the seeds, not sure how else he'd transport them over to the patient and Zacharie. Once he had them he hobbled back unsteadily, stopping beside the two other felines and seating himself (feeling uncomfortable) while he nudged forward the few seeds for Cinnamonkit to eat. Two seemed like a good amount, right?

Larkkit was next to arrive. He had spotted a glint of strange, glowing light emitting from the forest (and of course, he had noticed the swarm of ThunderClan cats wanting to investigate) so he had decided to go check what all the hubbub was about. The aura around him grew oddly warm a he neared the strange light, making sure to dodge the warriors and other ThudnerClanners had had managed to amass together. His pelt shivered, no longer feeling the biting breeze anymore. He felt warmth, oddly enough. It was not the same as the warmth he had felt before, though; it was strangely burning, in a way. Not at all cold yet not warm...it went beyond "warm".

The kitten turned his face, spotting some of the other surroundings. There were trays of food and some thin sticks, as well as an unknown twoleg instrument and other odds and ends. The tuxedo had been about to go an explore but his ears perked up at the sound of Compasskit's many questions. He too had raging questions bottled up inside of him, but he'd save them for his mother, perhaps. There was nobody here that he really could talk too much (not including Compasskit, of course). The medicine cat apprentice hobbled over on a sprained paw, grinning up at his friend (who had jumped up onto Lancecorporal). "Comp."

Larkkit flashed a timorous smile of great thanks to Cinnamonkit, lowering his head little by little to prove that he was feeling quite uncomfortable at their many compliments about the medical handiwork. Yes, it did feel good to be appreciated and it made a small purr rumble deep within the tomcat's throat, but he couldn't help but feel quite bashful receiving praise. The medicine cat apprentice watched as she gently lapped up the two little seeds, feeling quite good of himself now. After all, he had managed to successfully prescribe herbs to his first patient, if he was remembering correctly.

Larkkit had a few sparse leaves and flowers clutched tightly in his maw. He had been looking for somebody but had spotted some herb-like plants on his way across camp so had decided to go ahead and just take them to Moxieflame. He wasn't entirely sure what they were exactly but they were interesting and so he wanted to ask his ivory teacher what they were and what they were used for. The tuxedo had been hobbling across camp now, back to the medicine cat den, before spotting (and hearing) Grizzlybear's roaring voice and Cameowaltz's question. He spotted an an ebony black cat and tilted his head, slowly advancing forward in curiosity.

Well, this sight was no surprise to the newly promoted medicine cat apprentice.

It seemed that already, within the span of less than a moon, three kits had managed to fall from trees (yes, one including himself). He had received a nastily sprained paw from his own trip into the snowy depths from the tree branch, but Framedkit's condition hadn't looked to promising. Angeleskit also didn't look too great as the tomcat lurched forwards with a few good herbs clutched in his mouth, which was closed tightly to avoid any herbal remedies from dropping. His heart thudded within his chest; Angeleskit was one of Phantompaw's kits, no? Gosh, the tuxedo really didn't want to run into the medicine cat assistant again. The black-furred tomcat had been snappish with the youngster and had buried his poor self confidence deeper inside of him.

Larkkit hobbled on three good legs, slowing to a step beside the fallen kitten. He winced at her small mew and her groans of agony, shutting his eyes for a second just to clear his mind of negative thoughts (and so he could calm down, of course). From what he had heard, she had fallen from an eagle's tough grasp. Cuts from the talons, perhaps? Cuts, cuts, cuts. How did he treat them again? The medic apprentice clamped shut his mouth, thinking carefully now. Poppy seeds for the pain. Cobwebs for a bandage. Was there anything else? Perhaps he needed to clean the wounds.

Larkkit now looked around for any other medics but then shook his head to his own dismay, figuring that he'd start treating her for some of the more minor injuries before dealing with anything that had hadn't learned and covered yet. The scratches and scraped would be easily treated, so he figured he'd handle that first. Saying nothing, the black and white tomcat nosed over two poppy seeds, beckoning for her to eat them whilst he readied some cobwebs with shaky paws.

Larkkit weaved through the forest with a mouthful of herbs and a hobbling gait, finding it hard to navigate through the thick woodlands with his nose stuffed up from the scented plants he was carrying. The tuxedo's electric blue eyes scanned his surroundings and he heaved out a prolonged sigh of relief as he spotted Chainpaw and Briskpaw (newly accepted into ThunderClan) hobbling together back to camp. It seemed that the adopted daughter of Wichingstar was helping the inured newcomer return to camp, which was not too far up ahead. Larkkit hobbled over in front of them, trying to flash a bashful smile of welcome.

"Twist paw?" He asked uncommunicatively, glancing at Briskpaw's twisted paw before looking towards his own and then back towards the older apprentice. He had sprained his paw before and had watched as Moxieflame had fixed it right up, so he medicine cat apprentice relatively knew what was meant to be done. Larkkit set the herbs he had been carrying down and nosed through them, whispering to himself as he searched around for the ones he needed. He sneezed a little as the various scents flooded into his nostrils.

Larkkit skittered forward on tiny frost-laced paws, the snow tickling his cold paw pads as he neared the leader's den. He had made it a habit to check in once in a while to check that everybody was doing alright; he wanted to make sure that they were healthy and if anyone wasn't, he would be there for help (with his limited herb knowledge, however). The tomcat shyly poked his head in now, stepping forward on shivery paws and ruffling his fur to protect him from the roaring winds. He heard talk of going to BloodClan to get back some of their members, and the tuxedo's eyes sparkled at the thought. "Need travel...herb?" He proposed, looking up thoughtfully at Grizzlybear, one of the two ThunderClan deputies. Trying to make himself helpful, Larkkit got ready to dart to the medic den to fetch up some herbs.

Larkkit narrowed his blue eyes and tilted his head sideways a bit, curious as to why a foul-smelling BloodClanner was here in camp (and now entering the leader's den). Hadn't she been the same female he had seen before when the former leader, Wolfscar, had returned? Haushinka? The tuxedo now placed a paw in front of him, wincing back a bit at her sharp words towards the higher ups. He frowned now, skittering back off into the medicine cat den. No need to waste time with all this, in his opinion.

Larkkit arrived to the scene of the crime, a little taken aback by the hefty amount of blood and severity of the wounds the kitten was dealing with here. Did he need to fetch Moxieflame or Saffronspice? The tuxedo eventually shook his head to himself, deciding that he'd be able to handle this one by himself; if things got worse though, he'd definitely go and make sure to get some more professional help by the more experienced medicine cats. He shivered in the cold wind and winced back at the nipping sensation before his eyes caught sight of the kitten's frozen body and bloodied, caked fur. He needed to get cleaned up and warmed fast.

Larkkit, realizing that Fireclaw had Featherkit held tightly by the nape, beckoned for the red tabby to get the kitten into the medicine cat den. He took great strides into the herbal den, quickly readying a nest by lining it with moss and feathers before going off in search of the needed herbs. Cobwebs for the bleeding, poppy seeds for the pain and...marigold? He was sure that the flower cured infection, if he was remembering correctly. He got together everything and then stalked off back to the prepared nest, anxiously waiting for Fireclaw and Featherkit to arrive.

Larkkit smiled bashfully now as his name was repeated several times by the various gathered ThunderClanners, all seemingly relieved that he had arrived to treat the newcomer. It honestly felt nice to be recognized and appreciated, even if praises were a little bit embarrassing for the young tuxedo tomcat. He continued on with his work, tilting his head as he noticed the affliction once Briskpaw lifted up the injured paw. Yes, it definitely had been tilted and perhaps mildly sprained, if he was correctly recalling what his sprained paw had once looked like. Swelling was obvious. Bruising? He wasn't sure.

The black and white tomcat flickered his tail tip to and fro in concern and thought as he got out some cobwebs, sticks and leaves that he had finally identified as stinging nettle leaves. Moxieflame had used them on his own twisted paw, so he did know how to apply them and what they looked like (and obviously what they healed and hindered). Larkkit now attempted to gently lift the leg, tearing up the vivid green leaves and then attempting to rub it against the swelled parts of the limb in hopes that the swelling would subside. Larkkit then used some sticks, trying his best to do what Compasskit had showed him by making a suitable splint and then wrapping the it around with some cobweb and secure it.

Larkkit, a little taken aback by all the noise emitting from the campgrounds, poked his head out of the medic den and felt a chill rush down his spine as the biting air hit him right in the cheeks. He tilted his head at this, a little confused as to what was going on. It seemed like a public love announcement for Framedkit and Pheonixkit, and then there seemed to also be Followingkit and Orchidkit (all of whom he knew or had chatted with before). The little tuxedo shrugged and chuckled in amusement, deciding to hang around the entrance of the den simply to watch what was going on with curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

Larkkit had been about to go off in search of herbs around camp when he had heard the sudden uprise of surprised mewls and cries. The tuxedo had stopped dead in his tracks, slowly advancing towards the sound and the piercing scent of obvious death and rotting flesh. The scene was bloody; Totempaw's mauled body laid on the ground without a heartbeat. His fellow medicine cat apprentice had died. Died. Larkkit hadn't gotten to know the mink too well, but the thought of death made him flinch back into the woodlands with his stomach churning in distaste.

Larkkit flashed an awkward-looking smile towards Briskpaw, trying to loosen up his tense shoulders as he made eye contact with everybody who had now gathered around. His blue eyes soon flickered back to the splint he had made and began to marvel at his handiwork. Sure, it wasn't the best by far, but it was something and he felt quite good about being able to help this newcomer all by himself. Let's just hope she recovered well with four paws. The medic apprentice nodded once before shyly retreating into the woodlands, heading back to camp with the remaining herbs clutched between his teeth.

Larkkit, much like Totempaw, was lingering at the back of the den, staring up at the stockage of herbs that had been accumulated for the wintertime. He was trying his best to study them, whispering the names and uses he knew to himself and repeating them until they had been memorized. He was by far not the best student and had trouble with memorization, but was doing well for a youngster like himself. The tuxedo watched carefully, eyes occasionally flickering towards Glidedpaw and his ivory-pelted mentor.

Larkkit had been standing beside his mentor, a little disconnected by the group as he listened to the conversation. A prom? What was that? The young tuxedo shuffled his cold paw pads around, head lowering as he pondered on this idea. A prom...was it a game? There was going to be food, a voting system and music, according to Salemtrials, so surely it had something to do with fun and games? The medicine cat's smile brightened and he nodded a little reticently, liking the idea. Hopefully it would help boost ThunderClan's activity.

    OOC:
    Stickied!

    IC:
Now, Larkkit was not even an apprentice (and wasn't even going to be following the path of a warrior) but he figured that this would be quite interesting to watch and learn from. After all, surely he needed to know at least a few basic battle moves, right? With all this BloodClan business going on, it was dangerous not to know anything. He didn't want to be constantly nervous about safety whilst playing outside, so he decided to at least listen to what Lancecorporal was going to say. The medicine cat apprentice poked his head out of the den and giggled a little as snowflakes dropped down onto his nose, listening carefully.

Larkkit hobbled forward, small grunts sounding from his throat to express the slight pain he was feeling due to his one sprained paw. His blue eyes beamed in determination, however, and he eventually managed to trudge through the thick snow to reach a group of ThunderClanners amassing around a single kitten. He had been called upon for help, so naturally he had obeyed and was now face to face with the patient, examining her carefully in complete silence. He tried to ignore the various voices sounding nearby; he didn't like crowds and just wanted to try and calm himself down at this point.

The kitten dropped the herbs he had brought with him, little paws shaking wildly as he sifted through the stockage. Larkkit knew that she was cold and was probably dealing with hypothermia at this point, so he quickly decided that perhaps it was just better to get her inside. The tuxedo beckoned with his tail for one of the warriors to lift the kitten, eyes flickering towards the warm and cosy den nearby. "Medicine...den." He mewed a little timidly, darting off in hopes that somebody would bring along Fireflies.

After hearing the commotion (and slight bickering), Larkkit decided to show up, crouching down beside some frost-laden bushes just to observe. Was somebody hurt? Did he need to fetch any herbs? The medicine cat apprentice eventually shook his head at himself, realizing that Skydreamer had just received a new body -- a golden retriever, it seemed. He loosened up his buckled shoulders and then laid down in the snow, shivering as the white fur on his belly brushed against the snow. He watched now in curiousity, listening to the little spat.

Larkkit squeaked in surprise, hearing and observing carefully as the dilute tortoiseshell known as Blurredpaw dragged herself into the medicine cat's den. He had been seated in his nest, shuffling around a little uneasily. Yup, he knew that Witchingstar had sent ThunderClan to battle against ShadowClan, and he knew that there were going to be several injured comrades after the war and the medics would have to help them. He quickly searched around the den visually for Moxieflame or Saffronspice and then, deciding that they were perhaps out, bounded over with a slight hobble in his step.

The small tuxedo attempted to support the newly promoted apprentice, occasionally glancing at her as he shuffled forwards towards a patient nest now. He'd get her to a nest so she could relax and lie down, then he'd begin treating up the small cuts that were quite evident on her body. He was quite relieved that this injuries were nothing too serious -- he hadn't really had a professional lesson with his mentor yet so he only knew how to treat smaller injuries like cuts and bruises.

Larkkit had been observing, icy blue eyes flickering this way and that as he watched Witchingstar converse with the ShadowClan leader. He didn't understand a lot of what they were saying, but the playful kitten was able to grasp some of what was going on. The medicine cat apprentice shuffled in his standing place at the mention of war and battle; did he need to call his superiors? Surely Saffronspice and Moxieflame would know what to do during times like these? Did he need to get any herbs ready? The tuxedo fled from the den, claws scraping against the ground as he entered the den of herbal remedies.
