Seeing as it, like Masqueradepaw said, simply a kit, he'd smile warmly. "Well this is ThunderClan territory and you can't trespass unless you wish to join," He'd inform in a quiet tone. "If you aren't interested in joining, I can gladly escort you back to wherever you came from."

Ben winced as he was headbutted, the air being sucked from his lungs. He darted backwards, breathing heavily to reclaim his breath before darting forward, aiming to kick out her front paws. If he was successful in doing this, he would aim to bring a paw down her on her side, hopefully offering the same effect as the headbutt she gaze him.

He sighed, "You aren't stupid, Sal, you are actually one of the most intelligent people I know so don't say that about yourself." He shrugged after saying this, a frown everpresent upon his features. "Now why don't we just drop the subject? Maybe we could do something productive?"

Flamepaw's presence only contributed to the overall awkwardness of this conversation. "Why don't we go on a patrol, are you interested in it, Flame?" Inquired the caracat casually, pretending that the words he spoke earlier had never escaped the confines of his mouth.

Ben watched the scene with something that resembled a look of horror. How could a mother speak to their child like that? It was unreal and absolutely horrid. The caracat felt the fur on his spine bristle threateningly, his ivory claws sheathing and unsheathing in slight anxiety.

Benjamin would offer each cat (and dog) a warm smile, a shaky dip of his tan head following suit. "We could h-head out now, this should be a suitable enough hunting patrol." He observed this in his naturally quiet tone, already finding his legs and beginning to walk to the exit of camp. "Come on, g-guys," He'd call over his shoulder, another smile adorning his black lips.

"Doesn't it hurt to do that constantly?" Inquired Benjamin who had been observing the crowd from afar. It was then that he had decided to join them and air the inquiry that had been weighing down upon his eyes, a questioning look gleaming within his placid amber optics. "I mean, it must be straining on your mind...?"

This place had always been his home. He had grown up here, he had trained here, and he had fallen in love here. When he was kidnapped, he was lonely, he was depressed, and although he lived alongside rogues that used him to hunt and gather information, that was not home. The grassy terrain and a treeline that looked like it was woven into the sky. That was his home.

Benjamin tried to not think of those terrible moons much. They were traumatizing, to say in the least, but as long as he pretended that it was a dream, the nightmares that followed weren't as horrifying. They were manageable to say in the least.

It was the sudden, overwhelming scent of another that broke his thoughts. Those clouded eyes focusing instantly. He rose to meet whoever lurked nearby, hesitance dragging on his lanky limbs like lead weights. One step after another he neared her, only relaxing when he realized that it was no other then a fellow clanmate.

"Hello.." Greeted the apprentice, a small, warm smile touching his black lips. "It's a nice day."

The force of the hit caused him to slide around, his weight thrown off balance slightly. His body was exhausted but the adrenaline kept him going, fresh in his system as it would be until a winner was determined. Gathering his muscles, he'd aim to leap upon the creature's back, hoping that his weight, if successful, would tug the canine down.

"Perhaps you shouldn't exert yourself? Try practicing the ability wisely, it might be a slower technique but you might be more familiar with it in the end?" He offered this with a shrug, questioning the theory of his own words. It could work, but the person would have to have an immense level of patience.

Not really objecting to the few that joined them (as he really couldn't), Benjamin kept moving. "We are going to split into two groups. My group... and um... Morningcloud's group. Choose a side and then we'll head out." He worded his instructions carefully, glancing towards the warrior he mentioned in hopes that she would accept the position he had appointed her.

His brother had permit a snake to ride on him? Benjamin would never trust the scaly reptiles enough to do that, as one venomous bite can deliver death. He displayed his surprised emotions on his face, with wide eyes and a slight frown, but didn't oppose to burying it, the viper did once breath therefore, he supposed it deserved a burial rather then being tossed away like trash.

Ben has two options that day. Option one was to conduct a solo patrol and hope to bring back some prey. Option two was to socialize. The caracat chose the latter. He allowed his amber gaze to travel the camp, faint interest sparking in his twin optics when he spotted a lone apprentice. One that he didn't know.

In a minute, the son of Witchingstar was before the other male, a greeting smile upon his features. "Hello.." The apprentice greeted.
