[hr][Her paw is actually sprained, but it's pretty bad since it went a few days without treatment.]
The seal point was still curled up in Onestar's grip as he carried her into camp and finally the medicine cat den. Her wide cerulean gaze instantly flew all over her surroundings, trying to take in every inch, but being unable to do so in such a short time. This place was huge! Still, Balletkit knew before she was allowed to explore she would need to be treated and get some rest. That was the reason she was here, anyways. She wondered what the healers were like. Were they kind? Patient? She hoped so, though one couldn't be certain.

[hr]The one good thing that came out of recovery time was getting a chance to observe her new home. Sure, her paw still ached and required constant care, but she got to lie down outside the medicine cat den and watch Clan life. Balletkit found the simple everyday routine these cats followed almost subconsciously fascinating. They would wake up, eat, patrol and hunt, spend time with their friends and family, then go to sleep in their respective dens and restart the process. Of course, this differentiated a little bit each day, but overall it was the same. The kitten figured every once in a while something big happened to change it up, however, she was glad nothing big was occurring right at this moment. The peace and lack of worry was soothing.

[hr]A contest, hm? That sounded like fun! Plus, Balletkit could use something to do other than simply sitting around. Cerulean eyes bright, she chirped, "I'd like to join in, too!" Now that she had settled in for the most part, her nerves had been calmed and her shyness was just about completely gone, leaving only the typical cheerful and enthusiastic kitten most were familiar with. The seal point was already glancing around, looking for a group. Of course, she didn't know anyone that well just yet, but maybe this would be a good chance to make some friends as well as help out her new Clan.
