    NAME: Annalise Rose Sawyer

    NICKNAMES: She prefers Anna, but sometimes she will allow Lise as well. Rose is acceptable too, but she legally had her name changed so her middle name became her first primarily so older people couldn't call her Rose, but will begrudgingly accept this. She especially dislikes Rosie, and hates being called this.

    AGE: 22

    GENDER: Female


    PERSONALITY: Anna has always been a little insecure because of the mother's hovering, but she's very passionate about the treatment of Pokémon. She loves her Pokémon with all her heart, and has always been closer to Pokémon than she is to people and so losing one makes it all the more damaging. She believes that speed and patience are more important in a fight than brute strength. This also ties into the ideal she has that trainers should be willing to do anything that their Pokémon can do. She has become rather solitary, though she has always been introverted. She doesn't battle as much as she used to, but can when necessary. She loves the snow and cold climates since she herself is from a tropical place. She's a lover of Chocolate and Mac & Cheese (though not at the same time) and often drinks tea mixed with lemonade. She loves to read and knows a lot about different Pokémon care as well, enough that she can make different Pokémon food and vitamins.


    HISTORY: She was born in Alola to the young couple Lusamine and Mohn Sawyer, both of which were 18 at the time. Then, she was named Rose Annalise Sawyer. She was the first born and was 8 years older than her younger brother, Gladion, and 11 years older than her younger sister, Lillie. Her mother always obsessed over her children's looks, especially Anna because of her rare hair color. Once she was 10 years old, this reached an almost abusive level, and Mohn decided it would be best to send Rose to Kanto to begin her Pokémon Journey. Lusamine disagreed with this, but Mohn didn't listen and gave Rose a ticket to the Kanto Region. He told her to take Shadow with her to see Professor Oak so that he could help her on her way. She agreed to this, and left the only home she had ever known. When she met Professor Oak, he offered her a Pokémon that had been left behind by the other children beginning their journey and accepted gratefully, going on to work for Professor's all over the world. She caught a Zubat while working for Professor Oak. She caught a Buizel and a Riolu while working for Professor Rowan, and a Pikachu while working for Professor Sycamore. It was at this point that she decided to attempt the Kalos League and entered with her Pokémon at her side. She did well for a majority of the battles and became quite confident in her skills. That is, until the Semi-Finals. When she entered onto the field, she felt a little nervous. The person she had gone up against, Grant Teer, had used all of his Pokémon but one. She knew she had a counter to his others, but she wasn't prepared for the Houndoom he released alongside his Noctowl. Marianna was too low on health and wouldn't have helped in this situation, so Anna hesitated. She decided to throw out Fang, her female Crobat, and Sparx. The fight started off normal until Fang landed a critical Poison Fang on the Houdoom, just as Sparx fainted the Noctowl. Once Fang bit him, the Houndoom let out an almost feral snarl and grabbed Fang in his teeth, shaking her back and forth and ripping her apart. Grant called and told Houndoom to stop. But he didn't obey. The referees tried to stop the Pokémon, but couldn't get close enough to do anything. Anna had frozen, not knowing what to do and shaking from the fear of watching one of her first Pokémon being ripped apart in front of thousands of people. Sparx stopped, cowering as the Houndoom tossed Fang to the side and moved to grab onto Sparx. Sparx tried to run, but his teeth sunk into Sparx, drawing blood. Shadow released himself and ran onto the battlefield, biting the Houndoom violently, causing him to drop Sparx. Sparx ran back to Anna, and she held Sparx before hearing Shadow yelp in pain. It was in that moment she regained her courage, or at least the determination to protect her partner. She ran forward, grabbing the Houndoom by the scruff of his neck yanking him back to get him off of her partner. The Houndoom turned on her, snarling and releasing a hot flame that burned through her clothes on her leg. She screamed, collapsing and then dragging herself to cover Shadow's body with her own. IT was at that moment that Cobalt released, using a Sky Uppercut to end the battle.

    Anna was in the hospital for a long while, but the burning in her leg never stopped. Sparx has bad hips, and something from the accident made it impossible for her to evolve. Shadow's tail tip was ripped off, and he was also taken care of in a Pokémon Center. Fang died before Shadow had even gotten involved.

    She deals with the loss of Fang quite often, the burn on her right leg, the scars and limp that prevent Sparx from being herself, and the flat tip of Shadow's tail a constant reminder of her failures.

    Last night, you went to sleep a human. Yet today, when you awoke, you were a Pokemon in a cage. The steel walls and bars around you seem to be swaying as if you are on the water in a ship, and you see other Pokemon in the cages across from and next to you. It isn't until you hear a soft voice not too far away calling and looking to help all of you out of the cages that things begin to go your way.

    What a way to start in a new world, huh?

    I usually play females, and I think another female could be a compelling Muse B, since that isn't what many would assume at first. I do have a decent idea for a male as well, but I think the Female is just a bit more compelling.

    Honestly, I was thinking about having her be from the Sinnoh Region. It's the region I know the best and a lot of the Pokemon I'm thinking of having are from that region or at least available there. I was also thinking of using several "High Friendship" Evolution Pokémon, and honestly, I may not use a legendary until much later, if at all.

    I was thinking of having her be named Estella Darian and having her look like this:

    I haven't started the anime yet, but it looks interesting. :)

    Yes, Sinnoh will be the region she is Champion of as well.

    I'll definitely think about it. I'm a fan of Latios and Mew, so it would probably be one of those guys. Maybe even a fakemon. I already have some pokemon that I definitely want to use (Umbreon, Lucario and Floatzel specifically)

    I don't have any questions so far. We could Do some plotting if we want, but I'm the same way. Most of the time I just wing it and respond the way my characrer would act. Winging it could be pretty fun since we already have a base, and once we have our characters done I think we will be prepared,

    Montecristo - Male - Chocolate Lab - 3 Years Old


    Montecristo's chocolate coat stood out from the grey stone he stood upon. He looked down the hill he was on to see a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler seemingly aggressively conversing. Their scents bathed across him on the wind flowing over him. He knew that they would not smell him from this distant with the wind doing what it did. He merely watched, his amber eyes seemingly glowing as he watched the two intensely. He could not hear them, but he noticed the two she-dogs investigating the bush nearby. He smelled the scent of a male pup and another full grown female.

    He felt his hackles rise slightly when he saw how close they were to fighting, but he relaxed when they did. Montecristo had not seen many other dogs during his time here, but he recognized these two. He had called them the New Hunter and the Passerby. He wondered if it was time he should have someone else to rely on. He let out a sigh, looking to them and hesitating.

    He stepped further onto the ledge of the stone, making sure he was easily seen. Then, in a swift motion, he raised his muzzle to the sky and let out a howl to announce his presence to the dogs below.
