Milo will be out and about so I dont think it would be too hard having them interact (however they end up doing it cause idk atm either). I just go with the flow, but maybe thats lazy of me lmao

MILO:
As Gerald prepared to come at him with a barrage of threats, Milo stood his ground, the same smile plastered on his face. The other scientist's attempts to threaten Milo amused him a bit. He often thought that he and Gerald were pretty similar in some aspects, and maybe that's what scared the man. He couldn't exactly blame Gerald, but his threats were futile on someone like Milo. There wasn't anything, at least from what Milo could think of, that the older scientist could do to scare him off. Maybe he was being naive, but he hoped the old man would learn to let go. Turning to Loki, he waved off the question. "Ahh, it's nothing. I was just teasing him," he explained easily, peeking out the window briefly to make sure Gerald had actually left. He definitely wasn't afraid of the man. No way. But losing his head too quickly would be a huge inconvenience. "Ready to go yet?" he said after a moment, rocking back on his heels.
RAIDEN:
Once inside the cafeteria, Raiden let the staff take care of Pestilence and seated himself at a table away from where the experiment would be sitting once it got it's food. The man wasn't too interested in helping the thing eat so he figured he'd wait it out. At least it gave him some quiet time and he wouldn't have to talk to the damn thing. He thought about resting his head on the table and just closing his eyes, but the fear of looking unprofessional kept him from doing so. Though, he had ruined looking professional in any sense a long time ago, but he'd never admit that. He was too proud.
It wasn't too long before he noticed the presence of another scientist and an experiment accompanying her. Her appearance always threw him off, and to say he wasn't a fan of the way she dressed would be the understatement of the century. It bothered him and he couldn't imagine how anyone would respect a scientist who dressed like that. He'd never really spoken to her and he was glad she didn't make any attempts to speak to him for the time being. As much as Raiden was tempted to take jabs at others, he had some restraint. Plus, he knew getting snippy about something as trivial as clothing was stupid. So he bit his tongue and focused his gaze on Pestilence, making sure it was eating.

DID SOMEBODY SAY BUTTS
Also I might make an experiment sometime soon. And naaah not really. My problem is lack of ideas. Maybe we should fuse so we can have the perfect balance of ideas lmao

RAIDEN:
Fear and Frustration hit the man like a bus at the sound of a voice he wished was all but familiar. His golden eyes narrowed dangerously and his nose wrinkled in disgust as he turned to look at the other scientist. Gerald. There was no escaping that man. He was like a cockroach and no matter how many times you stomped him, he wouldn't go away. "Well maybe you should take a hint," the man hissed once the scientist had mentioned contact. Gerald annoyed him to no end, but the way he annoyed him felt entirely different than the annoyance he felt in the presence of others. He couldn't describe it and that was all the more frustrating. Raiden looked away from the man for a moment as he brooded silently.
He was quickly pulled from his thoughts when a woman's voice caught his attention and upon her request and swift exit, Raiden quickly stood up, slamming his hands on the table. "Why the hell do I have to be everyone's baby sitter today?!" He asked, giving JADE a harsh once over before making eye contact with Gerald. "If she isn't back by the time the spider is done eating that thing is your problem," he grumbled, jabbing the older man in the chest. As much as he didn't want to be looking over Pestilence right now, at least that experiment was still under him in some way. This one wasn't and Raiden wasn't a fan of doing anyone favors.
MILO:
"Someone's gotta challenge him a bit!" The scientist said around his toothbrush as he moved past Loki. "O'course not!" He exclaimed, popping the toothbrush out of his mouth. He walked into the bathroom and returned shortly after rinsing out his mouth. "I'm probably just going to eat when we get there," the man said thoughtfully as he slung an arm around Loki. The closeness helped him notice the sweet fragrance coming from his lover. It was a nice smell and he smiled lightly. "I didn't know you wore perfume Loki!" He observed, giving him a squeeze before letting go and moving toward the door. Milo yawned slightly as he leaned against the wall adjacent to the door, waiting for Loki.

RAIDEN:
"What hints? That you want to talk to me after work?" Raiden asked, raising an eyebrow, but sat down slowly. With a sigh, he listened to the older man talk. He didn't mind living alone or being 'lonely', it was better that way to him, but as Gerald kept talking he had to wonder if Gerald had a hard time being lonely. It would explain the creepy pictures. No one really wanted to be around the odd man, and he probably didn't have many friends either. There was a pang in Raiden's chest as he realized this but he shook it off quickly. "...You really like those damn photos," he mumbled, taking a look at the camera. He hadn't even seen the camera on the other man, but he must have hidden it among his labcoat that he almost never took off. Apparently he only took it off when he had to sleep which was strange all in itself."It doesn't matter. I'm not taking care of it so you will," Raiden said pointedly.
MILO:
"Ah, alright! Well then you smell good all the time!" Milo corrected as he locked the door to the apartment behind him. He hummed as he made his way to the car, quickly unlocking it and getting in. Once he was settled he pulled on his seat belt, stuck the keys in the ignition, and started the car. Once the metallic beast roared to life they were met with a cacophony of sound. It was hardcore death metal. The singer was screaming demonically as the drums crashed harshly and the guitar's strings were shredded. Milo stared at the radio blankly for a moment before changing the station. "Uh, oops," he laughed sheepishly as he backed out of the driveway and onto the road, heading toward the facility. "Didn't expect that to happen!" he exclaimed in amusement, turning the radio down a bit as well.
It didn't take too long to get there and once they arrived, Milo made sure they were both out of the car before locking it and heading toward the doors of the building. "Hope today's an easy day!" The scientist said with a smile as he walked in. It was the first workday of the week ad he preferred to ease into it slowly instead of being ambushed with tasks all at once.

RAIDEN:
"Because I won't that's it," Raiden growled. He didn't have any good reason besides he just didn't want to and he was pretty sure with a little push and shove, he could convince the old man to do it instead. Not wanting to debate it any further, he moved on to other things. "Also, I don't think you need my number. What would you do if I had it?" the man asked defensively, searching Gerald's eyes. "You can also do me a favor and quit treating me like a kid. I'm not your son I'm your colleague," he pointed out irritably. He wanted to make sure the other man saw them as equals more or less and didn't treat Raiden like he was fragile thing that needed to be worried about. It was strange to be worried about though, it's not something he experienced often, or really ever. He tried to relax a bit more, but Gerald always left him on edge a bit. He often didn't understand why the older man stuck around even when Raiden treated him so poorly.
MILO:
Hope was a fickle thing, and anyone who held onto hope to tightly was a fool. At least that's what Milo thought once he was made aware of the work he would be doing today. He shouldn't have hoped to have it easy. That's where he had jinxed himself. The edge of his lips quirked downward in a frown for a fraction of a second before he laughed lightly. "So, ah, I should probably check up on those experiments right?" Milo asked, just double-checking with the receptionist before he would go down to the basement. "I hope they're ready for me!" he exclaimed enthusiastically. He supposed he'd check on Jack first, he had the best name in his opinion. It had to be like the beer, right? Well he'd just have to ask once he got there. He easily maneuvered to the door and descended the steps quickly. "Goooood Morning everyone!" he called out, greeting all the experiments as he walked past. The man radiated happiness and energy as he stopped in front of Jack's cell. He put a hand up to his forehead, as if he was trying to look for something even though the experiment was so blatantly there. "Hiya, anyone home?" he asked curiously.

RAIDEN:
Raiden was about to deny the exchange when Gerald had caught him off guard. Oh? So this was how it was gonna be. He wasn't the old man's boss anymore so he was going to be difficult. The hot, familiar bubble of anger began rising in his chest again. Not being in charge was frustrating in its own sense. Raiden often thought people were intimidated by him, but it seems that the title had mostly contributed to it. Annoying. Two could play at that game, as Raiden wasn't about to give in to Gerald's attempts at manipulation. He was stubborn and he didn't let go of anything without a fight. "Worrying about me implies that I'm weak. I may as well be a child then," he spat out bitterly, though he didn't comment on the 'friend' implication. As much as he would love to tear into that sentiment, something stopped him. He didn't think too much about it. "...and you have to earn my contact. JADE is more than capable of taking care of himself," the man said simply, a light smirk adorning his face.MILO:
"Mmm, I don't think so! A scientist shows up precisely when he means to," Milo countered with a smile. He knew he had to take Jack out, let him socialize a bit, do some check-ups, basically the works. "Well Jack...Daniels," a small chuckle escaped the man, "how about we get this show on the road?" he purred, pulling a set of keys from his pocket. Milo remembered hearing that this one had a 'bottomless' stomach. This thing always ate and could eat anything! It seemed practical that he could survive on anything, but it always felt like it was starving. Must have been a bad side effect of the experiment or something. It didn't make sense to the man, but Jack would definitely still be interesting to study. With that, he unlocked the cell, got Jack in the proper restraints for an outing, and lead him out of the cell. He would take him to eat first. Milo didn't know if it was exactly enjoyable for Jack, but decided in the moment, it probably was. A growl came from the scientist's stomach as well as they walked. He hadn't eaten breakfast and it was getting to him as well.

Thats cool with me!

Raiden became quiet for a moment, taking the time to observe the older man. With a sigh, he nodded slowly. He knew he was right, but the events of this morning had left him a little bitter. They had known each other for a long time, and as much as Raiden liked to forget it, the times back in the old facility had been particularly tough for him. The contact still worried him though. Being alone was easier, not having to deal with anyone was easier, and was allowing Gerald to get closer to him a good idea? Well if it was a bad idea, he realized, it was already too late. Gerald had gotten closer to him. With a sigh, he held out his hand to Gerald. "You just did, give me your phone," he mumbled flatly.
-
RAIDEN:
"You don't have to over exaggerate," Raiden muttered as he took the phone in hand. His fingers easily glided over the glossy surface of the device as he made his way toward Gerald's contacts. His eyes scanned over a few of the names already in the older man's list, but he didn't hesitate to click the 'new contact' button. "Take your time," he mumbled as he automatically started filling out his information. Before long, Gerald had a contacted listed as 'Raiden Wolford' but no picture to go along with it. Raiden wasn't particularly keen on taking a picture of himself to fill the space, and figured that Gerald would probably find a way to add one of the several photos he had taken of Raiden.
Once he was finished, he took the time to check back on Pestilence. It seemed as if the creature had eaten most of its food, so it shouldn't be too long before it was time for them to move on. He dully noted the other scientists and experiments gathering, hoping Gerald would return in time to get his phone before Raiden left. He knew he had told him to take his time, but he didn't want to wait around too long if Pestilence finished before Gerald returned.
