The child appeared next, tail flicked over her paws as she sat next to Scout.

[justify]Alex slunk through the caves, ears flickering lightly. she was making her way toward the entrance, though she wasn't sure that was safe due to the tremors that hadn't happened too long before... she stood close enough to the entrance so that she could snatch some fresh air before going back to live like a cave monster. Not something she enjoyed, that was a fact.[/justify]

It was rather breezy. Fall was coming on, and the child wished she had thicker fur right now. Trying to stay away from the entrance, searching for a cozy part of the cave to collect stuff in and live there. She could see it now. Skins of her kills piled up as a nest, eternal warmth for the winter. Alex couldn't wait.

In her thoughts she'd wandered near where most of the more important people lived. Now instinctively following a trail of scent, the child would find herself seated in front of her mother's area, expecting for somebody to come out.

Alex saw the silhouette standing farther outside than her. Well, it was safe then, she guessed. Padding towards the unknown feline, she sat down, seeing it was Scout. She wasn't to sure about how she felt about him. He was pretty cool. But he talked hella weird, and that was enough for the kitten. That's how most kittens thought, even ones of her slight rude nature. "Hey, Scout." she said, tail flicking over her small paws.

Stupid fall. It was going on around them and Alex hadn't a chance to jump in the scarce piles of leaves. She needed an older person to come with her and protect her. Didn't these people understand that there was basically no leaves and she had to take advantage of the leaves while they hadn't blown into a more leafy area.

At the entrance to the cave, the black smoke kitten's white paws clenched the rocky dirt at the front of the cave, curious. What animals were in there? She was unaware of herself morphing into a fox, growing quite a bit taller and longer. Her tail wagged slowly, looking around.
