Ino just so happened to hop onto the boar, scrambling for a clawhold. She looked at Feather. "Hi. I am Boar Among the Mountains, but you can call me Ino."
Feather tilted her head curiously; the name seemed alien to her. "Well, my name's just Feather. Still, it's nice to meet you, Ino." She broke out into a smile again, she had no problem with meeting new cats, and this one seemed nice enough.

When the needle fell from his hand, the hybrid let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. It seemed her opponent had hit his head on a nearby rock after he fell, so he would be out for a while. She let out another relieved sigh; that was too close for her. She turned back to her task of making a path to a less dense part of the forest, and continued scurrying through the undergrowth, dragging her nine long tails behind her.

Ino smiled. "Nice to meet you, too! And I'm sorry if my translated name is confusing..."
⅓ there!
"Nah, it's fine." The kittypet assured her new friend. (Or at least, a friend as far as she was concerned.) "I've just never heard anything like it before. It's kinds cool!" She beamed, the merry-go-round slowly creaking to a stop. She cast a disappointed glance at the painted horses, as if it were somehow their fault that the ride was stopping.

Scurrying through, past and over many different plants, the Ninetales mix pushed her way through the thick barrier of shrubs. She wondered if there were any other hybrids here? Even if there were others that hadn't been re-captured, Cinder would have to admit that she wasn't the most social of... cats? Pokémon? Ugh, she didn't even know what she was any more. She just continued on her path, her goal to get out of the forest soon.

Ino thought a minute. "Want me to get it moving again?" She asked.

This seemed to puzzle the housecat. "You can do that?" Feather asked doubtfully. "I could barely get this old thing moving in the first place!" Still, if she could get it moving again, she would definitely like to ride more...

Cinder broke out into another forest clearing after what felt like a much longer time then it really was. She scanned the area, seeing no other animals at first. She let out another relieved sigh, maybe she could rest here for a while?

In search of other life before she settled down to sleep, the Ninetales hybrid scanned the clearing. She needed to see if anything was here; whether it was kind or hostile, she didn't want to be caught off guard.

Although she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched, Cinder decided to try and brush it off as her own paranoia. She would have to if she ever wanted to get any rest. She walked over to the edge of the clearing she was in, a yawn escaping her mouth. The hybrid lied down and curled her nine tails around her. She hadn't noticed how tired she had been, and in moments, she was asleep.

Cinder slowly stirred from her sleep. She forced herself onto her feet and looked around, trying to make sure that she was still alone. Blinking black dots out of her vision, the Ninetales hybrid scanned the clearing. She didn't want another run-in with a hostile creature, or worse, one of the scientists.

Feather hopped off the merry-go-round, sending a harsh glare at the horses, as if it were their fault the ride was over. Oh well. She'd just have to find something else to do, and judging from the look of this place, that wouldn't be a hard task. What currently caught the kittypet's eye was a small monster, slowly rumbling over a hill-like track.
(9/30)
-
Her nine tails dragging clumsily behind her, the half-cat continued on. She'd need to make a better pace if she ever wanted to get out of this forest; if only she knew which way was the fastest way out... Cinder silently grimaced as she exited the clearing and kept heading north.
(12/30)
-
As Feather approached it, almost as if it knew she was there, the monster lurched to a stop. She studied if for a moment. The paint on it was chipped, but it was clearly supposed to be a creature of some sort. It had a large mouth with huge, dull fangs sticking out of it. On the monster's back it carried a box of some sort. Well, this was too good a chance to pass up. With a brief grin, the housecat pounced onto the monster, and it started to inch along the track once more.

Nudging more ferns and plants out of the way, the mix made a brisk pace northwards. Her russet eyes scanned the area once more; being caught off guard could mean death. Or worse. The thought encouraged her to speed up a little.

Cinder flinched at the sound of footsteps running through the forest. She wasn't sure if it was people, but knowing her luck, it probably was. She panicked and suddenly broke out into a run; she needed to get as far away from them as she could. She silently prayed that they wouldn't notice her.

The housecat let out a mew of surprise when the monster started moving again. The machine gently rumbled along the trail, and although it probably wouldn't be much fun to most people, it was great fun to the cat. She had never been on a roller coaster before, and she found the strange machine wonderful. She laughed as the cart zoomed down a hill.

The eyes of the Ninetales hybrid widened. "Ack, I'm sorry!" She panted, whirling her head around. She tried to regain her composure after hearing those footsteps, if only so she didn't look like a complete fool. "I-I thought I heard people coming, and I suppose I wasn't looking where I was running. Apologies." She also cringed as she heard a yowl in the distance, wondering what was happening. Maybe the humans had found another hybrid? Well, she hoped not; that would mean they were close.
(15/30)
-
Well, that was sudden. Cinder recoiled as the hybrid she was talking to was suddenly grabbed. These people scared her to death, but she needed to do something... right? But memories of the scientists and the lab made her hesitate. What the mix wanted to do, with every fibre of her being, was run. Run until she was out of this forest and gone to someplace where they would never find her.
Why don't you do that? She's just a stranger. Her mind reasoned. Maybe she'll fight him off and be fine. The Ninetales grimaced, slowly backing away as she hit the human with a Hydro Pump attack. "I-I'm sorry..." She muttered, moments before she darted off into the forest, once more praying that the humans wouldn't find her.

Feather grinned as the coaster slunk across the track. She could pretend that she was riding a monster somewhere! After all, she kind of was. The kittypet stayed on the monster-like cart until it finally slowed to a stop.

Cinder darted through the forest, absentmindedly leaving a trail of trampled plants. As she raced past the trees and other plant life, she only had one thought. That was that she needed to escape this forest, she needed to get out of here. She panted, her legs starting to sting from so much running, but she didn't dare stop.

The Ninetales mix finally stopped, panting heavily. Her conscious hounded her for leaving those two to fight, but around people... no, she wouldn't take the risk of fighting them any more then she needed to. Cinder sighed; she'd just have to hope that they were okay. She slowed her pace back to a walk and trotted north again.
