Raindrop took a cautious step away, blinking his ice blue eyes. It really wasn't like Hex to act like this. ... she wasn't really possessed, was she? "O-of course I'm not scared." He muttered, shaking his head.

The Shadow kitten closed her blood red eyes, trying to ignore the sudden chill that ran down her spine. Why did she feel so unwelcomed here? It was just a cave. It literally couldn't care less if she was hanging out here or not.
(34/60)
Agent heaved herself to her paws, gritting her teeth. She wasn't exactly sure why, but this place was creeping her out. ... now which way was out, again?
(35/60)
The large mutt blinked a few times before a soft, rumbling growl came from it's maw. Spectre gritted her teeth, silently cursing herself for running into this thing. At least Enigma had those poison-y fangs that all the adult Panseliers had, right?
(42/60)
Spectre leapt back just a moment soon enough as the dog snapped it's fangs at her. She wanted to use her green gem, but how? This was the middle of a big city. There weren't any plants lying around for her to manipulate.
(43/60)
"Hey, E, a little help here?" Spectre snapped, backing away from the strange dog. She swatted at it's nose, sending it reeling for a moment. In the long term, though, that attack only made it madder.
(44/60)
The Panselier had been observing for a moment. He didn't want Spectre to get hurt, of course, but he had never seen a dog before. Much less fought one. If he got eaten, he wouldn't be much help then. "Okay... so it mainly attacks with its teeth, right?"
"Yes. Thank you, captain obvious." Spectre rolled her eyes at the Panselier. "Stay away from the teeth and you'll be fine, alright? Now can you please help me fight this thing?"
(45/60)
The kitten glanced around herself blankly for a moment. Ugh. She was lost in the middle of this freaky, dark cave. Wonderful.
(36/60)
Enigma chuckled to himself. "Alright, alright. Don't get your tail in a knot." He mewed, half to himself. He circled the dog, and while it was focusing on Spectre, launched himself at it and chomped his fangs around it's foreleg.
(46/60)
Spectre took the chance to dart back as the dog started whimpering. Oh, right. Panseliers had those poisonous teeth of theirs. The gem cat had forgotten about that for a second there.
(47/60)
Enigma watched silently as the dog fell limp. Noticing Spectre's skeptical glance, he nodded to the she-cat. "Don't worry about the dog, alright? It's only paralyzing poison. It will wear off in a few minutes." He chuckled, noticing as his old friend tried to hide a relieved look. She wasn't ready to kill anything but prey, even if she tried to pretend otherwise. Even if that dog had just tried to eat her, she wouldn't have killed it.
(48/60)
"Oh. Alright." Spectre mewed, trying to act as nonchalant as always. The Panselier sighed inwardly. The only downside of having an old friend was that they could read each other like a book. He wouldn't be able to keep a secret from Spectre if it would save his life, and it was vice versa for her.
(49/60)
Spectre cleared her throat awkwardly. "So, er, shall we continue on our way to... this 'cat show' thing?" She mewed, motioning for Enigma to lead the way. He was the one who wanted to go there for one reason or another, after all. She was sort of just tagging along for the ride.
(50/60)
Enigma nodded, and took another glance into the skyline. It wasn't far now. He recognised it as that big building, the one that was just left of that huge skyscraper.
(51/60)
She let out that bone-chilling laugh, again. "Then perhaps... I'll give you reason to be scared..." Hex purred, smirking to herself. The black gem on her forehead started to glow.
(46/60)
Agent muttered under her breath, wondering which way to go now. ... either way, standing here and doing nothing wouldn't accomplish much. She needed to get out of here, somehow.
(37/60)
Raindrop took a few more unsteady steps away. Hex was still just trying to scare him, right? Because it was working. "Er... Hex? You win. I'm scared. Can we go find Glyph and Umber now?"
(47/60)
But, er, they sort of aren't supposed to exist in the first place... xD
They'll be here tomorrow. Sorry about the slight delay.
Well, if I accepted them, it would be cheating, and I'd probably get all my pets taken away.
So it isn't actually cool at all.
