Rachel cautiously removed her hands from her ears. "Why did it stop?"
"WHAT?" Rin asked loudly.
"WHY DID IT STOP?" Kate bellowed in his ears. She turned to Rachel with exaggerated sarcasm. "You see my friend, one of the advantages of watching anime with headphones turned a the way up is that I'm not affected by little things like that."
Tandy internally winced at this but was distracted from making a remark by seeing Viper seething at the edge of the group. "However much any of us have fought with each other we need to set feelings aside of we're going to work together without one of us eventually getting killed."

Kate grinned as a loud crumbling noise joined the guitar solo. "WELL THEN, SHALL WE GO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THERE?"
"YOU'RE CRAZY." Rachel yelled back, hands clasped firmly over her ears.

Tandy begins chuckling. It slowly turns into a full blown laugh, shaking her body so much that she has to lean against a half-destroyed tree for support.
"What?" Rachel said snappily. "The tentacle things may have left this world, but they're just going to destroy another. And we have no guarantee that they aren't going to come back once they destroy that. I fail to see how this is funny."
"The irony." Tandy gasped, suppressing her laughter until only faint giggles escaped her lips. She looked around to meet blank stares. "None of you get it?"
She got up from the tree and walked back into the group. "So, you know how the leader of those creatures said 'This world isn't as rich in mana as we once thought'? I'm assuming the reason is because of all the damage humans have done to the planet. The only reason they aren't trying to destroy this world is because we already have." She broke down into giggles once again. "See? Irony."

Tandy sighed, resting the urge to face palm. "Viper, that's not how genetics work."
Rin inched slowly towards the moose, reaching out a hand to pet it. The creature eyed him distrustfully.

"Katie, what are the chances that they destroy the town?" Rachel asked in a weary voice.
"Well, it depends if they go all out or not. If the people from Fairy Tail decide to get serious there's gonna be a problem. There's also the matter of that Ork, who looks like he could do some pretty nice damage as well. I don't even know about the new arrivals, but they don't exactly seem like weaklings either." Kate said in a speculative voice, not seeming perturbed by the mention of them destroying the town.
"Great." Tandy murmured, striding over to Kara. "Can you try to stop them if things get to serious?" She questioned the autobot.
"Moosie." Rin said, stroking the muzzle of the moose, which had started following him around. "Good moose."

"Idiot." Rachel said to Deadpool. "That thing destroys anything it touches, did you really think that would solve anything?"
Tandy's eyes narrowed at the avatar. Why did it want to get them out of the way? The obvious reason was so there would be nothing in their way to turn earth into a source of energy, but why do that when there's thousands of other dimensions to choose from? Unless there was something special about earth that the creature wanted.

Tandy frowned, her eyebrows coming together. "Anyone else feel like they're missing something, like this isn't over yet?"
"You mean other than the fact that even with all the major baddies gone there are still dimensional tears letting every manner of creature in and no one knows how to get back to their dimension either? Not really." Rachel said, half serious.
"No no no," Kate said, waving her hand in dismissal of Rachel's comment. "There's something we're forgetting."

"AAAAAAAAAAGH" Rin lets out a war cry, jumping into the fight by leaping up and punching 'Eavy with superhuman strength.
A tic developed under Tandy's eye. She could feel her frustration rising, getting dangerously close to boiling over. Ever since she'd gotten off the mind-numbing drugs her parents had given her she'd been prone to mood swings, lapsing between her former composed self and a hysterical person she barely recognized as herself.
((Hmm, I'm trying to think of a way my human characters can join the fight...

"That's it!" Tandy yelled, finally snapping as Dean caught her in the jaw with his elbow. She balled her hand into a fist and punched him in the face.
"You go girl!" Rachel crowed, following Tandy's lead and attempting to tackle Dean with Kate's help.

Why is everyone ganging up on Dean XD
And is Katara controling Kati or Kate?
I'm probably not the most active person to play Discord, but I'll step up if no one else wants to))
"Ah!" Rin said, surprised by 'Eavy's sudden burst of speed. He gripped a shoulder plate just before he could get flung off completely and hung on, trailing behind 'Eavy like some type of weird streamer.
"Back off, he's ours!" Rachel said, ramming into Karma's side.

"Ow!" Tandy yelled as something pulled her back by her hair. She looked furtively behind her, but she was at the edge of the battle and there was no one in sight. She noticed little things beginning to happen seemingly without anyone causing them. Rin was knocked off of 'Eavy's back, being flung into the air about twenty feet before plummeting to the ground. Something tripped Rachel and Karma, sending them sprawling. She finally caught a glimpse of a talon-like hand in mid air, about to push Calix into the dirt.

Universe(name of story they're in): My little Pony
Description of Universe: The universe of equestria, populated by earth ponies, pegasi, unicorns and other magical creatures.
Description of person: Oh, geez. I have no idea how to describe him. Chaotic, yet still human, not really evil as much of a spoiled man-child that loves causing trouble and having his way. He's rather good at manipulating people when he wants to, but I guess he's kind of learned the value of friendship.

Tandy sees the phantom arm push Calix. She can detect the faint smudgy outline of a strangely shaped body moving back over towards Dean, probably to cause more mischief. With lightning fast reflexes she didn't know she had, Tandy bounds over and grabs at the blurry air, feeling her hand close around a furry limb.
"Got ya!" Tandy said triumphantly.
She felt the arm wrench out of her grasp and saw the shape float upwards. Suddenly a complete silence fell over them, not a voluntary one. It was as if every shout and every noise of battle had been muffled, or completely cut off.
Discord materialized above the scene of chaos, grinning at it appreciatively. "Someone called?"

"Oh that." Discord said, looking at Katara's message. He snapped fingers and all of Equestria froze in time, Elderazi and all. "There. That should stop them for a bit." He said lazily. When everyone stared at him he raised his eyebrows. "Don't go thinking that I actually care what happens to the ponies. I just prefer chaos when there's someone around to apreciate it." As they continued to stare at him he gave a jump of surprise. "Oops, I didn't realize you still couldn't talk." He said in mock innocence. He snapped his fingers again and suddenly everyone could speak again.
Rin rubbed his throat even though Discord's magic hadn't physically affected him. "How did you stop the Elderazi?"
"Dimensional lock." Discord explained, floating in a circle around Rin. "You see, time flows through all of the dimensions in a circular pattern, so if you seal off one dimension, the cycle just... skips it. Although I'd think my dear little Doctor could explain it better."
He teleported Ticky Doctor so he was floating upside down in the air beside Discord.

Discord stopped the magic that was keeping Tickety suspended, letting him drop to the ground up-side-down.
He turned Gipsy's arm into one of those long balloons that people twist to make animals. "Draconequus." He said delicately. "And was there any other reason you called for me, other than to prevent the baddies from devouring Equestria? You do know that time lock won't work forever."
((Hades, you're a guy, right? Is roshambo a real thing that guys do?

*sighs* and this is why men die younger than women))
After a few moments the spell wore off of Gipsy and her arm went back to normal.
"That's quite a tough question, Katara. You see, the reason many of you are here is because of tears in your dimensions, most of which lead into this one, for extremely complicated reasons. What weakened the dimensional barriers to this point, I have absolutely no clue." Discord said in a way that made is seem like he wasn't telling them the whole story.
"Please tell me we can fight." Rin added, eyeing Deadpool.

As the Elderazi struggled to free themselves from the time lock, a deep rumbling noise shook all of equestria. A feeling hung in the air akin to the strange calm right before a storm. The time lock was at it's most fragile stage, being eroded by the flow of time itself as well as the Elderazi. Soon it would be broken, but was that the only cause of the earthquake?
