Welcome back! And congratulations on the baby! As Frozency said, nothing much has been happening. We do need more active players in all the Clans, then it would be fun doing gatherings, battles, and such. Hopefully we can get this thread more publicized.

Dawn and Dusk had once lived in a different forest with a pack that has fallen apart due to lack of food and growing hostility. All of the bonds and connections of their old pack has vanished, so they only have each other. The litter-mates traveled far together, managing well as a duo. But they are forgetting what it was like to have a pack; others to rely on. Time has come in which they seek a new and permanent home.

Dusk stopped in his tracks. With a quick sweep of his tail he beckoned Dawn over. "What is it?" the she-wolf barked, then shut up as the familiar aroma hit her. Wolf. That doesn't bring back good memories. "It's a pack," he murmured as he looked at the long scar across his sister's flank, remembering the bad experiences they've had with unfamiliar wolves. Dawn padded over to him and stood at his side. Dusk faced her. "If we want a home, we're going to have to enter. I want you to stay behind me and if things look bad, you run." At that, the she-wolf scowled and raised her voice louder than she meant to, "You think I can't fight! I'm perfectly capable, Dusk. Ever since I was injured in the plains you've been treating me like a damn pup! Just stop." Dusk was dismayed by her reaction. She had never yelled at him, and it was dangerous to do so this close to an unknown pack. He sighed. "I'm sorry. Look, you're all that I have. I don't want to loose you." Dawn looked up at him, her feelings hidden behind her hardened face, and she nodded slowly. "I don't want to loose you either." -
-
The two outsiders whipped around. Dawn studied the black wolf before them; whom seemed friendly enough. "Hello. We're just.. Talking. Any chance we can have a word with your leader?" she barked cheerfully. Dusk shot his sister a glance, telling her she was being too straightforward. She rolled her eyes at him and smiled at the black wolf.
-
Chester started as the wildcat approached him. The wolf had forgotten he passed over claimed territory, once again too caught up with his hunger. He swallowed one last piece, stood, and backed off, limping a bit from the tussle with the elk. "Hey! I'm Chester; no one you should worry about. You can take that elk if you'd like," he offered with a charming smile, then grimaced as pain flushed in his face from the kick. It was a hard kill for a single wolf, but he'd rather give it up then deal with a lion. Once again the aroma of different animals caught his attention and his curiosity took over. "What's up with all the scents? Do you catch deer for food or for pets?" Chester joked, giving off that smiled again.
-
Dusk followed warily whilst Dawn trotted beside the black she-wolf. "I'm Dawn, and this is my brother Dusk," his sister barked, waving her tail at him. He simply nodded. He didn't understand how she was so comfortable around other wolves, after living over a year by themselves. The brown canine has learned to distrust every wolf after the experiences they've been through. Apparently Dawn still felt at home with others.
-
Chester looked taken aback; he hadn't meant to offend this wildcat, though he found it strange for a deer to befriend a lion. "So, uh, your pack is for any animal?" He was answered by the approach of a wolf. Chester turned to see the pretty female. Instantly he felt comfortable. The brown canine studied her, circling her once, that charming smile on his face again. "Hey chica, I'm Chester. What's your name?" The male wolf stopped an sat in front of her, tilting his head.
-
"Luna, pretty name! We're looking for a pack. Hopefully we can live here. I mean, we weren't chased out yet," Dawn said gleefully. Dusk met Luna's eyes for a moment and looked away.
-
A wolf related to a lion. Chester was surprised by that. This pack was a bit odd, but he found it interesting. "Spectrum. Cute name," he yipped, but every time he talked it hurt. The wolf realized part of his handsome face must be bruised, so he turned his head and watched them from his left side, his tail wagging slightly.
-
The two outsiders sat down beside Luna.
-
Dusk looked at the wolf with boredom. He has been through this all before. The handsome male stood and stretched, beckoning to his sister that they were leaving. But she stayed where she was and murmured, "Dusk, we need a home. I'm tired of being alone." Slight annoyance crossed his face as he prodded Dawn with his muzzle."They don't want us. Let's go," he said flatly.
-
Okay so basically, we just skipped the battle in ForestClan because nothing was happening. Goldenwing had stayed with Mossyflower and her new kits. Later, Goldenwing crossed into unknown territory while hunting. There she was attacked by the loner Ace(Me). They fought, both taking great damage. Stoneshard(Frozency) found them and is taking Goldenwing home now.
-
It finally grasped Chester that these animals were talking to him rather then chasing him away, which is how most encounters ended up for him. He was grateful for that. He also has never seen wildcat and wolf mixed. This pack was different. Lately he had been regretting leaving his family, whom mostly weren't all too fond of him, but he liked these animals. He opened his mouth to speak when another cat appeared. A jaguar. He studied the wildcat, who spoke with authority. Then again, the others did too. "I'm Chester," he introduced, "Crossed your border while hunting. I'll be on my way." The wolf began to turn and stopped, reluctant to leave potential friends. "Unless.." Chester smiled and looked around gleefully. "Mind if I hang with your pack for a few days? Been a bit lonely," he said winking at Spectrum.
-
"Great!" Chester padded over to Spectrum as if the lion has given him permission to flirt with her. "Want to chill later?"
-
Chester grinned as he nuzzled her under the chin. "I'll catch you later, then?" he said in a soft voice, tail wagging a bit.
-
"Awesome." Flicking the she-wolf's ear playfully with his tail, Chester trotted back to the others. He glanced at the dead elk. The loner had lived days without food in the past, so he can't bare to be wasteful. "Should I bring it back to your camp? If not, I'll finish it here," he suggested, unsure whether his prey would offend their deer friend.
-
Chester flicked an ear. This pack was serious about their deer friend. He crouched down and began feasting on his kill. It was probably the biggest elk he has ever taken down, and it led him to a potential home. He whispered a small thank you to dead animal as he ate.
-
I'm a youngster too. Le fourteen. xD
-
My apologizes
Dawn followed eagerly and answered, "Yes, we do." Dusk pushed into the den and sat down, feeling uncomfortable around other wolves. He supposed he would have to get used to it.
-
Woo! And this has turned into a conversation thread
