Mori sniffed the air and grinned. He smelled Human. Probably the army, out looking for Titans. Well, their loss. He knew he was worth a small garrison squad. He was insane, not stupid. He just hoped the Titans they were probably looking for weren't there yet.
Weisse looked around, at the cliffs on either side. 'This is the perfect place for an Ambush.' He thought. He kept his hand on his hilt, just in case the Titans or worse were ready for them. Somebody had to look after Ellie, after all.

Trudging up to them was another Trainee, who was obviously exhausted. "Did I make it here in time"? She asked nobody in particular.

"My name is Ellie". The exhausted girl said. "My brothers already in the military. Now, I'm going to go rest up. It was a long walk here".

Scarlett looked at the man " she has a child, no not even a child. you have to let her go!" she said " her son is a soulless anyway! she knows about us now! she see's us as people! please let her go!" she begged and crouched down her laurels eye level "whats wrong laurel?' she asked, seeing her fall
"Honestly, we don't want her. However, just giving her away? Without freeing any soulless? That seems like a bit much". The man snarled. -
Suddenly, soulless in chains began to file into the prison, followed by a hooded man with a child in his arms
"I've brought them...just.... Take care of my son...and give me back my wife." Said the man in the hood.The man grinned and tossed the jail key over the Jack. "All yours"! He said. He then brought the soulless into another room. Julio watched them all from the doorway, but remained silent.

Suddenly, Julio kicked the man in the back and grabbed the Zachary. He yelled at Jack and Laurel, "C'mon, follow me"!

The Phantoms appeared again, but they didn't go after them this time. They went after: the mean rebel man. "NO! JULIO! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE! NOOOOOOOO-" He said while being swallowed up by the Phantoms. Julio kept running.

Then, suddenly, a figure appeared at the edge of the camp. He waved for them to stop running.

It was Terrance. He motioned for them all to follow him and then ran.

Julio said "I'll explain all this when we get there! Don't fall behind me or the Phantoms will get you!"

The Phantoms followed close behind, but once they left the camp, they seemed Reluctant to follow them. Julio stopped and sat down and handed Zachary to Jack. "Alright, let's rest here for now. Things have gotten QUITE complicated since the last time you were here." Julio said.

Finally, the tired Girl from earlier arrived. She looked quite fine now, and just sat down behind Kalila.

The Tired Girl immediately spoke up. "Sir, that is true, but their sacrifice will help those that survive go even farther. Survival of the fittest. That is the world we live in, or so my Brother says. So, in other words, dying isn't such a bad thing. It merely means you bought your comrades a few extra seconds to live."

"He's right here with me. Take him." Julio said, handing him to Jack. "Now sit down and rest up, because I have some things that I need to explain to you." -
"Alright, is everybody here"? Julio asked.

"I know the answer to that question. The amount you have to slice to kill it depends on the class. For example, a 5-meter class would take the least amount of effort, and a 15-meter would take the most." Ellie said.
